Great place for me to dump garden and yard waste, tree limbs and the rest. They only charge $10 for a small pickup load and the staff are unfailingly polite. The place can be a bit intimidating with large equipment running around but use care and follow any signs or ask directions for where to dump if it is your first time. I'm very impressed with this folks. Last week I took my new pickup truck to get a load of topsoil. The bucket loader guy was quick to get to me and suggested I split the load as my truck is light weight and the bed was small. He expertly loaded 1/2 yard and I came back later that day to get the other half. I'm glad he thought to suggest this solution and was willing to take the time to double load. This week I ordered a large mulch delivery. The folks in the office were friendly, polite and very efficient. The carefully collected all the information and then read everything back. I was able to arrange a "next day" delivery. By the way, both products were high quality. read more

Great place and great prices but in all I fear my safety every time I go there to get landscaping supplies. The loaders and drivers have no safety precautions and whip the loaders around and push the drivers out of the way, I have legit almost been run over , ran off the dirt path by front end loaders on multiple occasions. *** UPDATE*** I spoke to a someone today at Holland Mulch, they have apologized for the problems and are working with us to get it fixed. Very professional and easy to work with. I went from very upset to very happy in just a few minutes. It is a good sign that they are willing to listen to their customers complaint and work to correct the problem **** I ordered some fill dirt for a backyard project. I asked before hand if it had a lot of debris in it. I was told that the biggest debris would probably be rocks about the size of my palm, around 6 - 8 inches in diameter. I got the dirt today, and there are branches, twigs, bags and tree stumps in the dirt. I paid for 10 cubic yards of dirt, and it seems like a big portion of that is tree stumps, branches and large rocks. Now I've got to spend more time shifting through removing all the debris from the dirt just so I can do my project. I'm sure their other products are fine, but if anybody is thinking about buying fill dirt from them please don't, go somewhere else. Well after shifting through it we discovered that half of the "dirt" is actually mulch. If I wanted mulch I would have ordered mulch. They screwed me over big time. read more

I've been dealing with Holland Mulch for several years now for all of my lawn needs. I had the opportunity to go in to their Edgemoor location a few weeks ago to seek advice for a yard project. The response I received from the owner John and the workers there was fantastic! I was able to order my product and have it delivered as promised and on time. The driver was extremely polite, professional and took great care while backing down my long driveway. I absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for anything concerning yard needs. We ordered 7 tons of gravel and was able to get the next day. The driver showed up early. He was very courteous and polite. We had to order 2 more tons and again was able to get the next day and same driver, same everything. I would highly recommend Holland Mulch. read more
