This store is the worst! They acquired our contract from another rental company and we, having…read morehad a very bad experience with them in the past, knew we would be returning our items to them. On Friday, the 14th, we called them, telling them to come get their items. They said they couldn't pick them up until the following Tuesday at 2pm. "Fine" I said, and made arrangements for the other (and far more reliable) rental company to deliver the replacement items on Wed. On Tuesday I called Rent-A-Center to make sure they would be there as close to 2 as possible, since I had to run an errand and didn't want to miss them. They said there was no record of me making an appointment for pick-up. So, I made one for the next day. (Wed.) and when the time for them to pick-up came and went, I called again. Guess what? No record of me having arranged a pick up. Now it's supposedly betwen 4pm and 6pm on Friday. In the meantime, I have to sit with their chairs in the middle of my (very small) living room blocking the stairs both going up to the second level and down to the front door which is a safety and fire hazard. This store is 1.4 miles away, swinging by to get their property should not take A WEEK! They do this sort of thing in order to make you SO frustrated you just opt to return it yourself. Then they can make up some damage that wasn't there before and suddenly you're on the hook for the whole item price (which like most rental places is 300% of what it would cost flat out in a store). It's a scam. For your wallet's sake, do not rent from this place. For your mental health, do not rent from this place. For all that's good in the world DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! And if you do, consider yourselves warned.

I had already sunk 800 plus dollars in the car since I bought it. Air conditioner compressor went out and before it needed an oil change lifter was clicking bad you could tell I was an attempt to cover up the clicking with some thick stp or something. The muffler needed 350 worth of repair s to cut out and replace and even with a new compressor the a/c still had no power. The thing was a lemon to say the least .so after I notified them about my lay off they snuck through my neighbor's yard and took the car with my babies car seat his medication and medical records not to mention my licence plates. When I called to notify them that I needed car seat for my babies doctors appointment the next day Racheal calls the police and says im harassing her. I have texts of her belittling my family cursing at me and she calls the police on me ..what..anyway the refused to return any of my child and I's belongings saying I'd have to come get them when they know.i.dont have a car besides she would probably call the police for trespassing if I came up there. In Missouri there's laws before repossession and I was never sent a notice of default and right to cure . No opportunity to catch up payment.totally against the law. They were just doing to take the car to resell it with a big money down and keep doing it over and over on a lemon .Derick even tried to get me to use his guy for inspection because he knew it wouldn't pass..shady all around and pretty sad you can't come to the door and work something out instead slither though the neighbors yard and steal my child's things and then talk a big talk then call the police when I respond ..smh Pathetic . Long story short the dealership gave me a quote of over $6,000 to fix a shimmy in steering. This place took the time to diagnose and start with replacing parts that need it rather than replacing whole front end like dealership recommended. Bill ended up being about $600 instead of $6,000 and fixed the problem. Very good honest communication and really trust these people. Highly recommend.

While I spent more than I wanted in total with the extended warranty purchase-it was worth it in the long run. I love my new vehicle! It needs some minor cosmetic fix ups-but it runs great/looks great/feels great! There is a fee they add in that's mandatory that raises the cars actual sale price a 1000+ higher than the sale price of the car-so be sure to ask about it and save for it when planning to buy from them or haggle for a lower selling price of the vehicle. He has been talking down every single coworker that he works with with me standing right there during every single test drive that we've been on for me to ensure that this car is the right choice for me. He doesn't use the times to tell me about the car to tell me about the stats when I ask him about the stats in the car, his answer is always that he doesn't know that the listing is taken down because I put a deposit down. My problem now is in the fact that he never knows the answers to that but then he always changes the conversation about his coworkers and how the woman is only loved in this establishment because her titties are out.
