When we brought the car in, it was a tiny small area, the size of a mole. After getting resin in the area, the chip looks way worse. There are whisker like lines coming out now in two different directions. I called and they said to bring the car in. So I did. They said there was nothing they could do since the resin was already in. My issue is that these whiskers or whatever the technical term for these lines on the glass were not there before the repair. And since having the repair, they are getting longer. The whiskers reflect the sun in a horrible way. The tall guy with reddish hair (name ????) was an a--hole. Excuse my language. Things come up, I thought, so I rescheduled for 8/25/25 and my windshield was installed. I adhered to all of the instructions he told me. I didn't even wash my car for a couple of weeks That's when I started noticing the track marks on the inside of my windshield. I let my shop know and they contacted Ivan. Ivan claimed he would look at it and test it for leaks. My shop passed along my number. Ivan texted me once but never responded back with a time to meet. My car has been in the shop all day today and Ivan was supposed to drop by to look at it, but he hasn't. To give a better idea of the value of the work done I'll try to add pictures and explain what happened further. I had banged up my truck and being a newer truck I took it to the dealership where I had bought it for an estimate, I explained that I was trying to not use my insurance if possible, they said paintless repair wasn't possible, and estimate about $1300 bare bones, several days to do and would need to repaint bedside. I went to a second shop, recommended by insurance at this point, their estimate was $2900, same as the first, adding replace bumper and replace taillight, both were scuffed. Getting discouraged at this point so I stopped at Dent Solutions on my way home, they looked it over, weren't afraid of the complicated body lines where the damage was and the price was about one tenth of the higher estimate and far less than my deductible.
