Visited Nordstrom at The Short Hills Mall over Christmas week…read more Despite it being a busy week, the store was well stocked, clean, and neat. We had a very positive service experience in the shoe department. The sales associate was helpful and patient, grabbing us a few similar boot options to try, beyond what we asked for. She didn't mind that we put the boots we loved on hold and came back to purchase them before leaving the mall. We made sure that she got credit for the sale. We had a great experience in the mens' denim department as well - the employees were really helpful in explaining the styles and sizing of the various brands. We also purchased a bag in the contemporary section - the sales associate there was actually pushy and salesy, not someone I'd normally want to work with or support, but we needed the gift so made the interaction short and moved on. Overall we enjoyed our shopping experience at Nordstrom, and we'll definitely return when we're in the area. If you don't live near a Nordstrom, they offer free shipping and free returns. And their customer service across stores is almost always top notch.

If you're going to the Rolex store, save yourself a trip. They are very biased on who they sell to. FYI: They offer valet parking (like many other malls these days), and they have electric charging spots.

Because of that, I felt it was important to share how disappointed I was with my recent experience. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the store has consistently felt unwelcoming. The staff rarely smile, seem bothered when customers ask questions, and often make it feel as though they are doing customers a favor simply by being there. As someone who genuinely enjoys shopping at small businesses and has chosen to support your boutique repeatedly, this has become increasingly discouraging. What upset me most during my recent visit was that I was shopping with my 12-year-old daughter, who urgently needed to use the restroom, and your staff refused to allow her access. As a parent, I found that incredibly disappointing and lacking basic compassion and customer courtesy. I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider addressing both the customer service environment and how situations like this are handled in the future.

Dor L' Dor has changed. For years I was a loyal customer and found some of my most favorite pieces…read morehere. I knew that a shopping trip would yield great results, and I always walked away with a full bag. It was especially a great place to buy work clothes! The quality and selection has really just changed. Everything feels cheap, thin and see through. It's got more of a 'club vibe' than a work vibe. Flying Monkey Jeans are no longer in the $40-50 range, now they are $70 for a pair! Staff was also super unfriendly. The store employee had airpods in. Did not offer to help set me up with a room when I was lugging around a pile of clothes to try on (with no one else in the store). Maybe what's in style has just changed and I'm not stylish anymore?! In any case, I don't think there is another shopping trip here in my future.

I am surprised to by writing this review. I am in the market for a tux and shopped around to a few…read moreplaces... a local tailor, The Black Tux and Suit Supply. Of the three I liked the quality of the Suit Supply tux best. I scheduled an appointment and tried on a tux. I am a 65 y.o. man, broader in the belly than I'd like to be, but I thought that while I might need the garment altered, I could find something that worked. I met with Davidson in the Short Hills NJ store. He was friendly, but at almost every step of the way said that what I was trying on looked fine, didn't suggest alternatives, etc. We successfully got the pants to work- I had them taper the leg so they would fit better. The shirt seemed big, but he told me it was fine. I ended up buying a Charles Tyrwhitt tux shirt that fits so much better- less baggy, sleeves a proper length. The jacket, when it was let out still was tight. Through it all, I was told the fit was fine, when it clearly wasn't. The associates do the fitting, not a tailor. After trying on the altered jacket, I grew tired of dealing with them. I figured that I could go to a tailor to do additional alterations. The tailor says he can do a little, but it still may be tight. Overall a frustrating experience. I felt like I was being rushed along, that there was really very little concern that the tux looked good on me. I was not told that my body was not right for their suits, that I should go custom or elsewhere. I would neither recommend or shop there again.

MADE... IN... CHINA!!!!!…read more Don't be fooled by this suit place. They say their fabric is Italian this and that, but the tags all read (first line) "Made in China". Like, how do you tell people it's top quality when you have a questionable business. I would NOT pay the prices they are selling for anything in there. Go elsewhere, pay wayyyy less and get it altered. You'll save way more money and know you're not supporting a bad business model. TIP: Here's my rule of thumb: look at their accessories. I took a good look at their shoes and they were bland and dull coloring. That to me, made me question how true their price was and about their suits.

I requested a refund for the item and but was charged the shipping and return of the item. They do not put anything on sale without asking you first. They offer 30 to 60 days consigned versus a mandatory 90 days. Doubletake inflates the price online and marks down the same items in store. So if you are buying online, you are paying double the price. This store is not transparent and is deceiving. I called the store since my consigned items were approaching 90 days. I had been following my items progress online and saw that they were not yet sold. I called with the intention of letting them know that I will be picking up my items. They said they were putting them on a 50% off sale. I specifically told them I did not want my items to be a part of the sale which was my right to do, especially since they were sitting there for 90 days . They told me that they had already marked my items down, not once but twice and sold my items anyway. If you were a customer buying an item online, you as a customer were also being robbed. They were offering in store deals and we're not offering those same deals online. Beware, this company is not transparent and they are deceiving. It's also been discovered that they have not displayed items and then marked them down. I wonder, was it so they could buy it themselves at an extremely discounted price and then maybe resell it. In response to your note - I have the emails indicating that my merchandise was marked down 50% in store while the online price remained the same. You marked down my items twice at 50%
