Love, love, love this bakery! They truly have something here for everyone. They even have vegan…read moreoptions on some of their cake slices, cookies and cinnamon rolls (only on weekends). My vegan friends who came to visit stopped by here twice during their time here and said it was the best vegan cake they've ever had. I love seeing what new cake slice flavors they release each month. I've tried lots of different flavors but my absolute favorite is pumpkin. I wish it was all year long! Best pumpkin cake I've ever had. You really cant go wrong with any flavor. The cake is so moist and flavorful, you can tell they use high quality ingredients. The staff is always really friendly and helpful and really nice. It's truly the best dessert stop!

I think the best thing must be the cinnamon rolls, only available on Sat/Sun. I went on a Friday…read more Very small 18 max capacity I believe . Spouse had a cheese cheddar scone - warm it when you get it home. I tried the vegan layered butter cream espresso cake - didn't care for it, to me it's a bit veganish - it just wasn't that good and not much espresso taste. I will make a better homemade cake to me that was a fail. Even for $12. A slice I won't eat it. I'm sure some of the others must have been better. You order, you stand and wait and still are guilted into at least a 15% tip. They don't have adequate parking and most is paid parking to run on and get a sweet treat . The pride flags - June is over - I think it might be an LGBTQ bakery, I didn't see one man working. It's larger than it appears, not for the customer area. It's clean, and the cashier is friendly enough. I disagree for having to feel I need to tip when I pay to park and walk 50 steps, and have to stand and wait for my order. I saw another poor review posted on the wall and then it was recindered (maybe after public humiliation they marked it thst way, I wasn't impressed with that it seems like bullying. My review will probably end up on the wall, but that's cool. I doubt I will be back.

We have attended their Meryenda Cafe pop up and other food events as well as just going into the store to grab groceries. Those events should not be missed as they always deliver on delicious flavors. They always have great updates on their social media of what they have in stock as well as their weekly hauls of fresh produce, noodles, and more. I love that they always try to get popular, viral products too as it can be hard to find those in more mainstream Asian markets. The staff here are always friendly, patient and helpful. I have never had a negative experience and even when they are packed, they always provide excellent and friendly service. The store itself is well organized and stocked. Happy that they got a new place as the space is definitely being used well and allows them to do so much more!

The selection at the store is pretty good! I don't think they have everything everything but pretty darn close! I originally came here to get dashi powder and they had it but didn't have the dried seaweed I was looking for but had the regular snacking kind. (Can you guess what I was trying to make at home? Miso soup lol) Overall great experience and if I'm in the area again I will return here if I'm in need of anything.

I found on Yelp that Volcano coffee was within 5 minutes of my location. This was definitely a random visit which turned into a wonderful one. Upon my entry, I was greeted with a cheerful "Good Morning " by one of the ladies (employee/possibly owner) and had made eye contact. I advised it was my first visit and if she didn't mind me taking some updated photos of the business as Yelp had old pictures. She stated "You're more than welcome, let me know when you're ready to order". I thanked her and I would holler. The place was larger than I expected. The building didn't look as big on the outside. I guess I was fooled. LOL! The ambiance was clean, comfortable with cozy lounge furniture and dining tables. There is a Fireplace, however, was not in use as it was warm inside. The Christmas tree was still up. I was advised by one of the ladies that they leave it up and change the theme throughout the year. I thought that was pretty neat. Drive thru is available. After looking through the menu. I opted to order the sausage egg muffin breakfast $6.50. This was good. I also ordered a Masala Chai latte with coconut milk $6.30 (inclusive of up charge $.75). This was recommended by one of the ladies and had claimed it was her favorite drink. I enjoyed this drink very much! I also had a warmed apple fritter $3.05 which was good. The three ladies that were working on that day were so joyful, full of smiles and laughter. I could tell they had great chemistry and enjoyed working there. I believe one of them was the owner. They surely made my morning and my day. I left merrily on my way to run the rest of my errands. I shall be back! =)
