Got the Nutella Oreo croffle again, which would have been. Nice if there was more of that melted chocolate ice cream like dip. Silverware utensils would have been nice if provided bc hard to cut croffle into bites with the Plastic utensils. My Dubai chocolate matcha drink was okay. Thank gosh for spacious and clean bathroom, but no mirror :( main space is also clean and I love the bright white lights that make the café shop pop in the square that it is located at. Very quick service!

Black Sesame Einspanner and House Green Milk Tea w/ Boba

Ordered delivery because I needed a pick me up. Can't comment on service or ambiance, but I feel their Vietnamese drinks (namely coffee) are tasty while the tea is just alright. Sample size of one drink each, so take it with a grain of salt. House Green Milk Tea w/ Boba - a very basic green milk tea. Tea was slightly floral, not too sweet, and balanced with the milk. Boba was chewy but lacked flavor. Would probably skip boba here in favor of their other drinks like the einspanners. Black Sesame Einspanner - black sesame cream was smooth and the actual black sesame slowly dropped to the bottom, since grounded sesame will result in physical bits. Slightly sweet but not too much. Similar sweetness with the coffee, a solid ca phe with a perfect amount of condensed milk added to soften the bitterness. Solid drink, would love the black sesame on a tea drink because I chugged the coffee and do not need that much caffeine.

I loved this cafe so much I came here two days in a row! I love einspanners, so I loved that they had those drinks here! (I went to another cafe nearby and they didn't know wth I was talking about.) I didn't try the croffle, but they looked really good! They had a lot of flavors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is free wifi, so it's a good study/work spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Plenty of parking in their private lot, which is shared with Pal-Do (Korean market) [[HIGHLIGHT]]No outdoor seating[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of the best tasting matchas in Seattle! The sweet cream was a perfect addition to the Matcha latte. The service here was great, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the seating space is small.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, I highly recommend and would come back.

Another visit. Another great experience. I got one of my go to drinks - the passionfruit and mango tea that's 50% sweet. Even so, I find the drink sweet but tangy with a crunch from the passion fruit seeds. It's a fun, light drink that's a great option outside of milk tea.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]cute, chill spot with really friendly customer service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks are good, I got the corn drink and it actually tastes like real corn, which I liked. The matcha is good too, just a little different taste than usual, but still enjoyable. The tiramisu is really good, real cake. The matcha on top was a little too much for me, but overall still a good dessert. I'd come back to try more things.

So the workers werent as nice.. seemed distracted. They didnt greet or call our us for our food. The food isnt worth it, TO ME, it was expensive which i dont mind paying for nice service and good quality. Cream match, not my vibe for a match. Very bitter. Corn dog wasnt good. Strawberry croffle was good 7/10.

My husband and I love coming here to study/work! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute cafe with lots of drink and food options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff is welcoming and the ambiance is always chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend the ube einspanner

I'm surprised I never wrote a review about this place. One Day Cafe is my favorite cafe in Tacoma! I love everything that they have on their menu. I have tried the matcha and sparkling ades and I enjoy both. Their sweet cream matcha drink is my favorite! The matcha flavor is decently strong (which is more than some other places can say) and the sweet cream makes it more creamy. The sparkling ades are very refreshing and I am glad they now come in the larger size only. They do add new drinks on their menu - I recently tried the Korean pear ade and it was so good! Their drinks are sweet if you like sweet drinks. Their croffles are good too! Warm and crispy. I love that they have both sweet and savory options. Their bingsu is also very solid, however most of the condensed milk seems to be at the bottom so the last few bites are extremely sweet. Very ambient cafe. I would say it is good for studying as it tends to be one of the more quieter cafes that I have been to. I love coming here whenever I am in Tacoma :)

Their drinks are ok, sometimes they taste a little diluted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It convenient that they provide Wi-Fi and it's not too loud so it makes for a great study space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As for service, also just ok but not bad.

This spot is located next to Paldo grocery store off of S Tacoma Way across from Cho Dang Tofu. The menus are on TV screens as you walk in to your right. We ordered the basque cheesecake, Oreo Nutella Croffle (croissant waffle) , grape ade, peach ade and Americano. The cheesecake was good as it wasn't overly sweet like your traditional one. The waffle was delicious and was gone in a heart beat. Lol. I like getting the ades as it's more of a refreshing drink than getting a coffee imo. The staff is really friendly and patient when you have questions!

One Day Refresher & Korean Plum

One Day Cafe is one of the best cafes in Tacoma hands down. It's amazing that they are always creating new items to add to their menu. Every time I come, I always order something different from the previous times I visit. This time around I ordered the Black Sesame Einspanner to try something different. It had a heavy coffee flavoring to it. The sesame cream foam was overpowered by the coffee taste in this drink. I didn't mind it though.

How are you going to heavily advertise matcha drinks and then be completely sold out by brunch time, three times in a row?

Since we were passing by and totally new to the town and surrounding, we just google/yelp but we are so glad that we picked this one over others. The owner/barista was incredibly kind and welcoming. We both have specific dietary preferences and usually prefer drinks with very low sugar. She took the time to listen carefully and recommended something that would suit our taste. I honestly couldn't believe how perfectly she balanced the drink--it had just the right flavor with minimal sugar, exactly the way we like it. What really stood out was her hospitality. The shop itself was neat, organized, and very clean, which immediately made the experience feel comfortable. When she handed us our coffees, she made sure to check that everything was according to our taste and preference. That personal touch meant a lot. Their **menu also looked very unique**, with some really interesting drink options that you don't usually see at typical coffee places. If we ever drive through that route again, we will absolutely make it a point to stop at **Coffee Kitchen**. I truly feel the town is lucky to have small businesses and people like this who care so much about their customers. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

I was bummed that the coffee bingsu is no longer a menu item.

When we entered on a Thursday afternoon, we were welcomed by two different female employees. We looked around and they still had a good amount of stock left for their baked goods, hot foods, and other snacks. Inside is definitely dim and very quiet, no music or TV playing to give it any ambiance. The staff seem friendly but also didn't really offer the most welcoming or warm presence that you would typically find in a Filipino establishment. The prices here seem fair and affordable, which was great as we were looking for a snack to hold us over until we had lunch. We ordered a pork siopao, chicken siopao, and an order of their pork shumai. Unfortunately, I don't think the cashier heard my boyfriend as we only got the pork siopao but he was to tired to correct her. She did try to sell us on turon a few times but my boyfriend isn't a fan of turon (I don't know why this is but he is Filipino and just tells me that he isn't a fan of a lot of Filipino desserts). We got in the car to eat our food. Our dogs were with us and were enticed by the smell as well, so that's a good sign as we complimented the smell too. I wish the food was kept just a bit hotter, but that's my minor gripe as I just don't like lukewarm foods. Now I will admit that the shumai is decent, but the sauce that comes with it is the star of the show. It has some spice while having this tangy umami kick that brought out the flavors of not only the shumai but also the siopao. My boyfriend and I were really impressed and tempted to go order more but we will definitely be back to get more of the hot foods and try some of the baked goods.

Loved the $1 day old pastries. Good deal. The pork bao was decent and the ube pastel (purple bread)…read morewas my favorite of the three baked goods I bought. It's hard to find a Filipino bakery South of Seattle, so props!

I know they do not have regular open hours for just walk in purchase, but rather, they're custom order type business, but I have yet to place any custom orders so I cannot speak to that experience. What made me write this review is how accurate the owner (Brianne) described cake and desserts in the description and the baked goods taste matched 200% of the description. The pistachio cake was out of the world, so was the whoopie pie!!! I got to meet Brianne in person and she was very friendly, and was kind to explain everything about each of her baked goods she had out that day. I've tried their baked goods from pop tarts to cookies to housemade Twinkie and the creation and taste are unmatched. Single serve baked goods were more on pricier side, but well worth every bite. I would definitely order custom baked goods from here, knowing the quality and taste of products from this shop!!! Currently, you can find Spilled Butter baked goods at Cosmonaut coffee, Outer Dark Coffee, and at Tacoma Farmers Market (also known as Tacoma Broadway Farmers Market) from time to time. Enjoy!!!
