I love Holly donut shop! The donuts are fresh, I love the lure of "hey, you got to get there early bc they sell out!" Everything baked fresh each morning is just something you don't get many places!! Everyone is always kind. It's not updated at all, but that kind of Helps the whole vibe. Will not be able to rate 5*'s until holy donut shop accepts another form of payment! Going to take out cash in town prior to getting donuts has deterred me from getting donuts every now and again. There are too many options for accepting cashless payment! read more

Consistent, great tasting and wow the variety. Really cool old school donut shop. Go visit early am as they run out consistently. That's the following they have. Always an older gentlemen or couple eating a donut with coffee. Just has a nice small town charm to it. Note, grew up in the area so it's nice to visit when I'm visiting my folks. read more

Holly donuts are the best in the area ive always been disappointed when they closed by noon, now it looks like they are open until 5 pm. im so excited that this has changed. the Personnel are wonderfully sweet family owned all are very kind im excited about returning. inside is big early in morning filled with people. great atmosphere go get some you will taste the wonderfull ness of holly donuts. read more

The Holly Donut Shot is great! And as a huge bonus, especially as someone who always has a little one strapped into a car seat - they have a drive thru window! No lugging your kids in and out of the car. :) I happened to mention in passing that it was my first time there, as we just moved to Milford. I ordered 4 donuts but when I got my box, there were at least 10 in there! They gave us some a bunch of different flavors and types to sample! The donuts were overall very good. Upon a second time there, they were not as good (maybe less fresh?), but still decent. A couple things to note... they only accept cash & I rarely have much cash on me. Also, their drive thru has no menu in sight, which made it difficult to order as a first-timer. read more

Get while the getting is good. High quality donuts, old fashioned joint, cash only, drive thru window or walk in. Never had a bad donut, try peanut butter frosted cinnamon rolls. Gah. We love love Holly donuts. But sad we drove all the way there this am to get donuts for my daughter's birthday. I had checked multiple times and it says mon-fri 5am-5. We got there at 6:20 and it was closed. So disappointed. read more

I brought in donuts from here for a work meeting and my team loved them! I greatly appreciated the drive thru window although I wish pricing and donut types could be listed on the window. It also took a while for an employee to notice I was waiting at the drive thru. Please note this shop only accepts cash. read more

Wasn't what I expected as "local donut" shop. Normal local donuts in my experience is large fluffy donuts. Those are pretty tiny compare to what I typically get. Also the price is on the expensive side a dozen is about $14 dollars. Also they only take cash huge inconvenience. read more

Pulled up Saturday to buy donuts and was greeted by an employee running up to the door, locking it just as I got there and then turning off the open sign. She clearly saw me and didn't say sorry we are closed or any thing. Seems like a very rude way to run a business. Wow, the exterior doesn't do this place justice! We lived in Holly over a year before finally stopping at this place. I wish we hadn't passed it by so many times. These donuts are light and delicious! So perfect! The only drawback is that they only take cash. read more

If you are looking for the old fashion donuts shop that you remember as a kid - this IS the place. When you walk in, the smell hits you and takes you back; they make them on site and also serve a great cup of "good old coffee". The apple fritters are huge, full of apples and nice and dark. All your old favorites (yes they have sprinkles) and everything is made on site - when it is gone, you have to wait to the next day to get them. I act like Homer every time I go into this place - glad I don't live in Holly anymore or I would weigh 300 pounds. read more

Wonderful little place. I work for an assisted living/short term rehab place and we like to bring some residents there about once a month. Whenever we go, the girls working there are very helpful and courteous and the doughnuts and coffee are excellent! The senior citizens that we bring always love it, partly because of the great customer service and also the delightfully cozy atmosphere. We love it! read more

Hands down, the best little Donut Shop I have ever been too. On occasion I have picked up a few dozens to bring to my corporate work meetings. There is NEVER a donut left behind. People are always floored at the quality and taste. Truly a "gem" in Holly. I can't say much for the coffee - I like strong and it is very weak - but who cares! The employees/owners are horrible. This is a review that was meant to be posted about 3 months ago. When I first moved to Holly, I fell in love with Holly Donuts. Being a lover of donuts and supporter of small businesses how could I not? Well, after about 4 months of paying them with my out of state check (they only accept cash or check), and becoming a regular, I showed up with my hair dyed purple and tattoos out and all of a sudden I am treated like a criminal. The small old lady at the counter, who I had encounted plenty of times before my hair was dyed and before summer when I wore jackets and blazers, was almost in shock at the sight of me. She couldn't even speak. She kept running to the back and then finally I got my donuts after they checked my ID and looked at my out of state check. She also gave me the wrong donuts. I'm not sure how she messed it up when chocolate and custard filled donuts only point to one thing. Whatever, I love donuts. The next day I came back, and my service was denied. The second I came into the shop, before I even had a chance to order, a lady asked me how I would pay (after ignoring my payment method of checks before) and I said check and the lady immediately looked at my check, and turned me away saying they do not accept out of state checks. She did not even ask if I had cash or any other way to pay, just turned me away. The least they could have done was entertain me with asking what donut I would like before rudely dismissing me over my looks! I will definitely not be returning! read more
