I decided to check this place out after living here for a bit, and I've been hooked ever since. The ham and cheese pretzels rolls got me first, but their doughnuts, bear claws, and croissant cinnamon rolls are all so tasty. Recently (September 2024), bagels were added. It's hard to find a decent bagel, especially in rural areas, but the Asiago was top notch. They don't have a toaster or homemade cream cheese, but if I need something ready to go/eat in the car, I'd probably do the hot stuffed pretzel roll anyway. I wouldn't be shocked if the bagel was just fine without being toasted, either. They don't take Amex, so be ready for that, and if they run out of treats, they'll close early, so plan accordingly. read more

Placed a large order to be picked up before a party nearby. They were fresh and ready when we arrived and the guests loved them. We had multiple options including cinnamon sugar, plain, and chocolate with sprinkles. We loved that they were light and fluffy rather than thick cake. So first, the product. I have tried the maple cinnamon twist and a chocolate iced donut. They were light, flakey and clearly made fresh that morning. The problem is, that if you don't get there as soon as they open, you aren't going to have any selection. Both times I have gone well in advance of close, 9am and 10 am the second time. They have had nearly no donuts left. They don't make enough donuts to get them anywhere near the demand on the weekends. Love the early hours! I like to be able to grab them on the way to work at 5:30am. They sell out fast, get there early. The dunkers are the best thing with a morning coffee and the ham and cheese pretzels are a great small breakfast....Every time I bring a box with me to work they're gone almost as soon as I set them down. read more

Lady at the counter is rude. They don't have a large variety of donuts. It's worth driving to Pinckney Bakery where the have a very friendly staff and a large assortment of donuts. read more

I stopped in this morning for a cup of coffee and a baked good for the drive to work. She had these fingered things next to the fritters that looked good so I asked for one. She wanted me to confirm that I was OK with apple stuffed inside. I smiled ear to ear and said something like 'oh i guess that'll be ok...' :-) This was absolutely the best 'donut' my old donut-eating self has ever inhaled. Soft, fresh, warm, ... and the apple filling was over the top! I think she called them Bear Claw, and I didn't have it in my possession long enough to take a picture, but now wish I did. Oh my gosh I'm so happy I live near this place. Their cheese-filled pretzels are to die for (although I didn't like the ones with ham, but that's just me- there was way too much ham IMO).
