On 09/24/24 I was assisted by an Asian lady, I was unable to get her name. Upon arrival, she was sitting down in the couch on the phone (which she has every right at an appropriate time) with her feet in the couch with sandals off, I did observe her touching her bare feet with her right hand. While I was checking in for eyebrow service, I wanted to ask her to please wash her hands prior to attending me but I was too embarrassed due to language barrier. I requested to clean up my thick brows since I've been trying to grow them out for 3 plus months. She took way too much hair from what I requested, the shape decent but not for my face shape and request. I was incredibly disappointed with the experience. I usually get assisted by an Indian lady (I don't know her name) who had a baby a couple of months ago and she's always spot on with my request and service but she was on vacation according to the Asian lady. I feel hygiene is extremely important especially if it's in the face and close to eyes. read more

She was very dismissive and it seemed like she'd rather be doing anything else. What's the point of getting them threaded and tinted if I have to still fill them in everyday? The check in was very easy since you just walk up to the counter and put yourself into the system. You can request to wait for a certain employee or next available. The inside is very clean and the brightly colored walls make it fun. Within about five minutes I was helped. She was very friendly and did such a great job. The pain was minimal, but I have been getting this done for a while. I was in the area today so thought I would give this place another shot it's been over a year since I have been there due to last time I had my daughters and my mom with me and one of the ladies that worked here asked me if I knew anyone to get pills or drugs from with my daughter in the next seat listening!! So went in today and the lady just rushed through everyone just because she had people waiting and she was the only one there so needless to say she messed up my eyebrows and missed hairs so I had to come home and use the tweezers!!! I will not be returning at all this place has just gone down the drain! Not sure if it has new ownership in the last few years or what! I have over a year coming to this location I used to go down to 51st and Indian school however it's been already 3 or more occasions where they get mad because I don't tip them and give me a attitude I've filed complaints and the manager said they shouldn't be asking for a tip however one time I left a 2 dollar tip and the lady went crazy saying if that was all and that she had to split it with the other employee it's ridiculous not even at the nail salon would they do this. Yesterday I went and she said if I was adding a tip I said no considering she messed up my sisters eyebrows and rolled her eyes at me and said something in her language. This place is definitely not my first choice to get my eyebrows done but the only reason I ever come back is because of Claudia she is the only person there to ever take the time to listen to what you want and do it in the exact way you had asked. Everyone else will make you feel unwelcome and on top of that you will leave with your eyebrows worse than what you came in with. I used to drive to 35th and Indian school to visit Hollywood beauty for my eyebrows so I was really relieved to see they opened this new location. As everyone is commenting they have an electronic sign in that is really efficient and user friendly. I just got my eyebrows done and was pleased with how they came out. Eyebrows alone are $8 so it's really affordable. However if you have a sensitive spot or recovering blemish on the surface of your skin where they will be threading wait until it is healed or bring attention to it for the beauticians because mine did not seem to mind the healing wound on my forehead and went right over it with the string, causing it to bleed for the rest of my service.
