When I saw the location I as a little worried it would be hard to find parking but come to find out they have their own parking lot. Extremely easy to find too. Came in to use my Groupon for a haircut and asked for Sara because of all her great reviews. They took me in right away, no waiting at all. Sara sat down with me first and made sure she knew what I wanted. Then she washed my hair and gave me an awesome scalp massage. My haircut turned out great! She paid so much attention to detail with my hair and made sure to ask questions along the way to make sure I was getting what I wanted. She really took her time and didn't rush me along just because I had a coupon like some places do. Took about an hour and a half with the hair drying and I have long hair. wow I've never written a bad review before bc I dont like to put down on businesses but honestly this is the worst place and customer service I have ever seen in my life like I didn't even think it was real. I went to get my lashes done the first time and immediately as I got there she just kept making some type of excuse that she needs to take more time on my lashes which will make her "charge me more" for extra time. Like how does that make sense and then the whole time she kept saying I was wasting her time and somehow at the end she ends up finishing quicker. When it came to payment she kept trying to find ways to charge me more for random things like "price difference" or something but I literally paid more than the advertised price on Groupon. The lashes looked actually pretty decent so I ignored her behavior and scheduled again for a refill. Mind you I came back for a refill a week and a half later when it was originally booked for 3 weeks out. So I came in and told her that some of them fell out and to refill it and she was saying that there was barely any lashes that she's going to have to charge me for a full set again. I'm just like whatever at this point and then she's like well I don't have time for a full set so I ask if she can just do what she can in the 45 minutes that I am booked for. Then I get a call while she's touching the lashes and it was a quick 2 second call saying I'm getting my lashes done and I hung up and then she turns off the light and stands up and asks if I'm done and says I am wasting her time -again! I was like ok it's fine I'll just leave then. Now you have no customer, no pay, and a free 45 minutes now! Congrats! Worst service ever. Please don't even bother. No No No. I knew the minute I sat down for my manicure pedicure, that I really wanted to leave, but I couldn't be that mean. As another reviewer stated, everything is done by hand and no drills. My pedicure is not anything more than what I could do myself, and it would actually be better if I did. My acrylic manicure looks sloppily painted as well, very thick, filed crooked, and I was there for over two hours, just like another reviewer stated. It would have been longer, but I literally ended up saying I had to go. All of this costed $155 with tip - again, I tipped because it's the way I operate. I had a hard time deciding whether I would post this review because the owner is nice. But this is just wrong. Unless there is more professional technique learned and provided, these prices should never be charged, nor the length of time invested by the customer for a really bad outcome - the final blow was the bill. Dianne is the owner/operator who does my nails and she is very professional, courteous and friendly. She is very accommodating. Want a great haircut, Ally Jerome is terrific. My hair is very curly and tends to be frizzy but Alley gives me a precision cut and has pointed me in the direction of the "right" hair products for my hair. I looked around at local places for pricing, and this salon right down the street had fair prices for everything I wanted done. The 3 girls I worked with her so sweet, and I left feeling pampered. I bought a Groupon for this place because it had 5 stars and was so close to my house! Without the Groupon, the services would have been $110 (I asked). I went in with exactly what I wanted and came or looking terrible. I mean, it was so yellow, chunky, striped, and far away from my scalp that another stylist said, "I'm not sure you should go back there for a fix. I don't think they have the skill level to fix this, judging by how you look right now." Nonetheless, I went back. But the stylist didn't want to be there and I still came out all chunky and yellow! Please don't let Jessie touch your hair. I would like to preface by sayng I would give Jessie 0/5 stars. The salon itself I'd give 4/5 stars as I had no issues with it. Initially, I didn't have a good experience. I got a call less than an hour before my appointment, saying the stylist was running 20 minutes late. They asked if I could come at 11:20. Not a big deal, so I got in at about 11:15 and was told they would let Jessie know I arrived. Jessie didn't get me until past 11:30. Not a good sign. She brought me to her chair and asked what cut I wanted, I showed her photos - the usual routine. She shampooed my hair, we went to start the cut, and she asked: What products I use/do I deep condition/where I get my trims/etc. While doing this, she starts on my hair and it all goes downhill from here. No clue where she went to school for this. She began to comb at the root, rather than the tangles at the ends first? She realized she was having a hard time getting through my tangles and asked me if I'm tender-headed? I say I'm not, so she took that as consent to be as rough as she'd like. She's combing it out and told me at LEAST FOUR times that my hair feels "really bad". I'm aware it's not in great condition, it has been bleached blonde. That is why I specifically chose to go to Hollywood BLONDE Salon, in hopes that they'd know how to deal with blonde hair. She had already asked me what sort of products/treatments I've done, I said I've used Olaplex, and that another salon had done 2 different conditioning treatments. I'm not sure what else she wanted me to tell her, as I've tried to make my hair healthier and was literally there for her to help me, but she felt the need to tell me several times it felt really bad to her. Seemed like she just wanted to make me feel bad about myself. While ROUGHLY going through my hair, she kept making a show of it by lifting up the comb so I can see the stuck hair, then untangling the hair that she just ripped out of my head, and dropping it on the side of me. I am so disappointed in myself for not stopping her and combing it myself. I know how to comb my hair with no fall out. I'm not a stylist, so why couldn't she? I then watched her as she contorted her face into a disgusted expression to show how gross she thought my hair was. Wow. She told me that she can't cut it while it's wet because it's too hard to comb through, so she wanted to blow dry it, then cut it. NOW is when she decides to put oil in my hair. You know, oil that would have helped to detangle my hair! I Why she decided to use it AFTER?! She starts to blow-dry then a co-worker says that she had got a call and needs to check her email. So Jessie is telling this co-worker her login and password, to read go the email. The co-worker came back twice because she didn't have the correct password, so they start talking and Jessie is essentially hanging out with her, not paying attention to me. Not noticing that she's leaving the hairdryer blowing on one spot on my head, burning my scalp. She didn't notice that I was having to move my head to avoid the pain and heat. She apologized for talking to her co-worker, and said that "she didn't want to have to leave me sitting here" in a tone that suggested I should be grateful that she didn't walk away?  The cut itself is good. My hair looks good, though she ripped out a chunk of it. It feels healthier without the dead ends. This is the only part that I'm pleased with, but it is not worth what I went through. PSA: Jessie will not be gentle with your hair. She will not TRY to get tangles out. I'm sure she was pressed for time since she was already running late, so she rushed through it and didn't care about my hair. I'm so disappointed for letting her touch my hair. Even the day after, my scalp felt sore from the tugging and hairdryer heat. I'm also confused. Does she understand how to comb hair correctly? Isn't it the first thing that girls learn? That you do NOT brush from your root? You comb out tangles at the ends of your hair shaft before attempting to brush from your root. Super basic. She must know this! She just didn't care. She rushed through it. While checking out, she asked me for my Groupon, a Groupon for a cut AND blowout. The "blowout" she gave me was not that... it was her semi-drying to make it easier to cut. I left with layers of my hair still wet. I did tip her because I feel bad if I don't tip, but really wish I hadn't. TL;DR? Jessie does not care. She doesn't care about making grossed out faces looking at your hair. She doesn't care to TRY to HELP your hair, rather than breaking it more. She doesn't care about your time, as she was late and rushed. So, please, do not use her. I have had such a bad experience that I am writing this almost a week later and still feel sick to my stomach about this girl. Avoid Jessie! read more

I used a Groupon yesterday at this salon. I know there are a lot of negative reviews but I was very pleased with the service provided by my stylist Sara. She sat down with me before beginning my appt and reviewed what I wanted, addressed what my concerns were and developed a plan. I don't like to chat much during an appt and Sara was great about this. She also explained different products she was using but didn't try to hard sell me. I was very pleased with the outcome and would definitely go back to Sara again. I cannot speak for other stylists in the salon but I doubt I'd go there for anyone other than Sara. I did want to consult on hair extensions but was just given a price of $1,000. Even if I wanted to spend that amount of money, I doubt I'd do it there since no one talked to me about anything other than price (this was not Sara.) So if you do the groupon... I purchased a Groupon for this salon. As soon as I got there my stylist told me I would have to pay additional $49 for a color for my roots and $15 for a toner. I was telling her how incredibly expensive that was . I proceeded to get my hair done. When she went to wash the color off she had to tone my hair three different times. The end result is she turned my blonde highlights to gray because she was trying to wash out the red. I was very very disappointed in the hair color, plus it cost me 140 dollars . Unfortunately this is the poorest pedicure I've ever received. I chose an OPI lacquer, One toenail chipped the 1st evening and 5 more nearly completely chipped off within 5 days. I wasn't swimming in that time. I only wore sandals a couple times because the weather was not very warm. I've not had a pedicure last less than 3 weeks before, even very inexpensive ones. Purchased Groupon for mani/pedi combo. The "massage" chair was more like a vibration chair. I was unhappy with both ladies who worked on my nails; french manicure was not professionally done (I'll stick with Kevin at the Nail Crew). They offered to remove it, but since it had taken 3 hours to do it, I didn't have time to let them go for round 2. When I got home I filed my nails myself so that they didn't have sharp edges in the middle of nail. I rarely have time to get my hair cut but they got me in right away and Rachel was so wonderful! My hair isn't the easiest to make look great but she did it without much guidance from me. Usually salon stylists ask me what I want and I'm not sure but she gave me a few options that she thought would work for me and I came out of there feeling beautiful.
