I made an appointment with the same groomer as before. Waited 1 week for this appointment, got there with my boy and was told they would have to reschedule because it would take longer than she had left time for. I tried two different groomers who did not return my call. I went to Neighborhood Pet Shoppe and told the groomer, Shanyn, there what had happened with the previous groomers. She was very sweet and understanding. I told her how the knots were getting bigger from the camping trip.(It was the undergrowth of hair and no matter how I tried I could not get the knots out.) She told me she could make an appointment in 3 weeks. I booked the appointment. She texted me Saturday the day of the appointment told me she had a family emergency, Ok I'm good with that! Texted back and asked if I would have to wait another 3 weeks. She asked if I could come in that Monday. She even said she would give a 10 percent off for the inconvenience. I told her no need for that I was just glad he was going to be done Monday. At this point, I asked my husband why I had to wait 3 weeks when she fit me in the next day they were open. now I know why!!! I truly believe she never had intensions of grooming my dog that day. I got there and she said she could not do my dog that day. He probably would have to be sedated. She made me feel like an inadequate dog owner. She asked if I ever brushed my dog or bathed him. Very rude questions. She was told everything upfront including how bad the knots were. This is the problem nowadays, people do not know their place!! She maybe very good at grooming (I will never know because I will never go back to her) But her customer service is horrible!!! I will spread the word!! Long story not so short, I went to another groomer that day, showed them my boy and he will be groomed Wednesday!!! It has been almost a month and a half since this all started.

I have taken my two Standard Poodles to PetCo for grooming twice, and both times they did terrible…read morejobs on one or both of them. I asked for shaved face and feet and neither was done on my smaller one. I had to wait forever while it was fixed, with attitude. There were places on my other poodle that were completely missed. I gave them a second chance and they managed to shave one dog's ears completely off after I asked for them to be left as is and didn't touch the feet or tail of the other. I cried. I will not be back and would not recommend taking your dog there!

I had a larder bettle in my bag of crickets and when I asked if they would take them back (didn't want to get my gecko sick and I had only walked out to my car) manger told me that's how they come. My parter and I have both worked in the pet care industry, and that's not how it works. Larder beetles show up were things are nasty and moist. Shipments of feeders do NOT show up with them unless they are contaminated. If this kind of filth is normal to them I'm worry about what other kind of nasty things they thing is normal. The manager, I think her name was Ashley, also choose to demean me in front of other customers and with other staff members. I will not be shopping at this location again.

The groomer told me to come back in 15 min!!! Needless to say she looked absolutely horrible. Now she is limping because they cut her nails too short trying to rush to get her done in 10 minutes after having her over 5 hours. I hope she is ok and it really is just a nail cut too short. I have never had such a terrible grooming experience.

This happened to me recently and when I brought it to their attention they were just like "yeah, it's always like that." Why have inventory posted if it is "like that" all the time? I used to be able to just walk in and buy the feed I need but now they made the shelves where they can only keep one or two in stock and you have to just get lucky that you are the first one that got to it after the truck came. Doesn't seem like they are marketing to true farm and ranch anymore, it's more about decor and gifts. Staff is friendly enough, just wish they would work harder on keeping the shelves stocked with what I actually need.

Well, they don't do that at this store. There are items at the Tractor Supply that are a better price than their competitors, so I will continue shop here. But they do need to get a bit more friendly.
