I have taken my two Standard Poodles to PetCo for grooming twice, and both times they did terrible jobs on one or both of them. I asked for shaved face and feet and neither was done on my smaller one. I had to wait forever while it was fixed, with attitude. There were places on my other poodle that were completely missed. I gave them a second chance and they managed to shave one dog's ears completely off after I asked for them to be left as is and didn't touch the feet or tail of the other. I cried. I will not be back and would not recommend taking your dog there! read more

Welp! CoCo's first grooming in Conway is officially in the books and Haylee @ Petco is our girl! The store itself is brand spanking new, spotless, well stocked, well organized, and full of friendly staff. There are many pets for purchase in store and an adoption area as well. The grooming salon is clean and the unobstructed viewing windows of the grooming area is my favorite. CoCo and I had a great first experience at this location and our next appointment is already scheduled! read more

Typical pet store, but "gimmicky" to get the best price you need this coupon or this e-coupon . sells start and end on strange days like a Tuesday or Thursday. They always try to "soft sell" you into buying more. but at least they are knowledgeable and know where stuff is (unlike Wal mart) that doesn't know where anything is at. read more

Wow, how does a manager (Jacob) at a petco tell a customer I heave a HARD HEART? no emotion...nothing. I rehab and foster dogs and cats. There was a "playpen" out of the box. We work on a tight budget so we asked if we could get a discount since it had no box and told him the situation. We showed pitchers and shared stories and he says you can joke around all you want but I've heard it all and i have a hard heart. He had NO EMOTION! The worst customer service from a MANAGER. These pictures are quite misleading. When you walk into this Petco you will be lucky to see an associate. I went in one day last week brought over $250 worth of stuff to the front (XL dog kennel, food, leash, collar, toys, treats, etc) and could find sign of human life. The door had been opened by a groomer who accepted a pet and literally disappeared. I waited for about 20 mins and....nothing. I left everything at the register and left in disgust. Such a shame! I had to drive to their competitor where I actually saved $100 so that was nice but wow. Other people were in there as well, they walked out around the time I did. This store is a joke! read more

This is my favorite pet store in town! The staff is so friendly, and their ability to help with all the nutrition questions I have is so wonderful. I got all of my ferrets here and my bearded dragon. All of them are healthy, and I would have been lost without some of the guidance I received in the store. I also love taking my dogs to get groomed here! I have a 14 year old small dog and Mat is so great at taking the best care of him and remaining gentle so my dog has a great experience. read more

Best pet store in conway. Their staff is super friendly and always smiling and happy to be there. Unlike pet smart. They have a better selection of animals as well. Bigger isn't always better. Just bc pet smart is bigger on the inside Petco is def better! They have every thing. And they are cheaper than pet smart. Bought a hermit crab for $7 at petsmart and they were $5.99 here. And they had all sizes and colors. Pet smart has one size and one color and they die not long after purchase. And just to add, petsmart staff are rude and not friendly at all. Petco is def where the pets go! And the pet parents! Staff is amazing and it wouldn't matter if this place was the most expensive in town I would still buy from here bc of that alone. read more

Took my dog for grooming and she ended up in the animal hospital in little rock for surgery to remove a toe nail, Groomer said she was not sure how it happened . Never made it to the grooming part she spent all day in little rock. Picked her up late that afternoon at the Conway Petco where i dropped her off that morning Manager was apologetic for what happened .So we waited for a few weeks for her to heal and get over the trauma of it all. We scheduled another Bath and trim for her. A few days later received a call from Madison the grooming manager and the groomer that took care of our dog telling us to find another groomer, i told her you said it was a accident and accidents happen said she felt uncomfortable grooming our dog . So called the store manager told him of the situation and that they could have another groomer take care of her he told me he would call me by closing, 30 min later he called and said they would not be able to service my dog and that there are other groomers in Conway. If you value your pets do not take them here for any service! Very poor management you should never let your employees dictate who you will or will not service . The groomer Shannon should not be allowed to be anywhere near animals. She shaved my puppy completely bald for absolutely no reason. We discussed how I wanted his hair cut for 10 minutes and I pick him up and didn't even recognize him. It looked so awful and he's only 6 pounds .. it's WINTER!! Poor thing has been shivering freezing since she cut him. Then she wanted to laugh at me when I got upset. Do NOT go here. read more

Just left Petco. Did not purchase my desired product. Staff was terrible the young lady I talked to said the other gentle man had the key waited and waited young girl started cleaning fish tanks never asked if the gentleman helped me he was on his cell phone. This is by far the worse place I have ever taken my Zoey ! The last time I took her was a disaster ( last review ) they called assured us that they have good staff now etc so .. I trusted them for their word ! When I dropped zoey off I asked her to be sure and clip her nails ( this time ) and groom her ears ! when I picked zoey up yesterday the girl said I just wanted to let you know that your vet can actually cut her nails and groom her ears I wasn't able to do it , she just won't let me. Okaaaay ..... so they completely jacked me dog up her face has red almost like razor burns on her face they jacked her tail up and the girl that groomed her has a attitude !!! We will never be back and neither will my family or friends ! Ppl don't take your dog here these girls have ( no idea ) what they are doing ! NONE ! Manager don't call me ! So I have been moving a lot for work since the coronavirus hit and when I returned home yesterday to take care of my fish I saw the aquarium pump was broken. I have not been home in two days so I quickly drove to this Petco because it was the nearest pet store. As I parked I noticed the manager locking the door and I told him that I had a fish emergency and asked him if he could help me at all. ( Like maybe me give him cash since they closed early and him pay for it in the morning or something simple) But his response was very uncaring and not interested saying only that he had already shut down the register. He wasn't concerned with my fish at all. I have bought several fish and plants from this store so it was really disappointing to hear his monotone npc response. I will not be shopping here anymore because they clearly don't care about their animals, you can tell by all the dead mollys, plattys, and feeder fish in their aquariums. read more

Recently moved to Conway so came here in desperate need of dog grooming and now we keep coming back! My dogs always come back happy and looking good! They listen really well to what kind of cuts we want for our two dogs(a Shih Tzu and a Schnauzer mix) and make it even better! Our Shih Tzu will get really bad eye boogies that are hard to get out but she gets something called a blueberry facial here that always makes her eyes clear and lets her see better. Our Schnauzer can be very moody also about groomers but he has never had any problems here which is another plus! read more

Just walked out of this place empty handed after standing in line for 10 minutes with no assistance to check out. Only saw two employees at this visit. One who walked around the back as if she were putting up inventory but knew very well there were customers in the store and the other at the fish tanks, he was carrying on a personal conversation. went in to get fish. the employee in fish department told me twice she would be right with me while she talked to her boy friend. after twenty minutes I left. there were boxes all over the store and over all dirty appearance. if you want to be ignored and have your time wasted this is the place to go. as for me I will not be going back.
