Nothing Hollywood about this place. The pictures that I have posted are only THREE days after I had them done! Never have I had this happen to me! I immediately called and was told that I could come in two days because they are booked! So I have to go two days with my nails looking like this?!? I agreed to come in on a Friday night and had an emergency and was not able to make it. I stopped by this morning and spoke with the woman at the front desk. She belittled me in front of everyone and told me I could wait two hours and she would fix them. I ended up leaving extremely upset. I called them back and asked for a refund due to the poor quality of products and customer service. I was told I was acting crazy. I will NEVER go back to this place. I would rather fly to actual Hollywood and get my nails done than come back to this place!!! If you want a gel set that does not immediately chip hours after you leave the salon don't go here! Follow up:: I posted a review on her Facebook page! She so kindly showed how rude she was by again belittling me and then posting photos of her appointment book which clearly I believe showed my number! tried several other nail salons for a pedicure in the area this is the best place - having just moved here from Orange County CA, having the best nail salons around, I finally found a place similar to back home.....leg massage was not quite the same but at least you received one and the whole pedicure lasted longer than 25 minutes, other places in this area out in 25 minutes! Hollywood nail and salon spa, windsor ct. The owner is "Kathy"... a horrible representation of a customer driven business. Having been a faithful customer at this location for 5+ years (with previous owners as it is less than 1 mile from home), it has become more than clear new owner "Kathy" is devoid of prioritizing customer service. After having made a scheduled an appointment for gel manicure , I was made to wait for 35 min before service began. Well into the prior reserved service, such was interrupted and disturbed for a far less costly aesthetic concern. The owner/manager/operator engaged in conflict conversation regarding my specific service requests, which were made upon entrance into salon. She continually argued with me in front of numerous clients and was adamant I did not specify the desired manicure. This was clearly stated when I sat in the chair and she inquired about colors. Her argumentative nature was so incredible offensive and inconsistent with the established maxim "the customer is always right". Goodbye Hollywood Nail Unfortunately , yelp forced at least one star..I wouldn't give them that.... read more

This is the only place I go to get my pedicures, they do such a great job. Kathy, the owner is so nice and funny. I have a lot of friends that goes there to get manicures as well. They do great with nails but I'm just a really picky person, so I only have one person do my nails at another salon read more

Had an appt for two pedis on a Saturday morning. Great customer service. Staff was friendly and efficient. Didn't rush even tho they were busy. Pedicure felt and looked awesome. Also very clean, wiping everything between and after each service. We'll be back! read more

Best pedicure I have gotten! Made an appointment in advance. It took about 45 minutes for a regular pedicure and it was amazing ! I got the full service, hot stones, hot water, hot cloth, leg massages, foot scrub, the whole deal. Love the results read more

I definitely do NOT recommend this place. I went once for a nail repair and the nail tech (seems like the owner) was short, rushing and rude. And she did not do a good job on the repair. I went there again today during lunch (out of desperation because one of my nails was lifting, and the same woman turned me down because they were too busy. I decided to go back again after work just to see, got there at 5:25 and her appt came in 2 mins later and just before me a kids polish change, and she told me I would have to wait 1.5 hours. I said just for a 5 minute nail repair even if she doesn't paint it, she refused me. I said will the little girl have to wait for polish? She said no cuz she was quick! What is quicker than a nail repair?? Come on. Rude and petty. Not interested in ever going back!! read more

Best to make an appt instead of doing a walk-in as the place is always booked full. I've been witness to a number of people trying to get a walk-in appt only to hear Kathy say that they are booked full for the day. Kathy has always been very nice to me and so has the rest of the staff. I've never heard or experienced Kathy being rude as other reviewers have said.
