Had my nails done by Johnny and they chipped within a few days. After a week, one corner snapped off. This service cost me $50 plus I left a $10 tip, not knowing what was in store. This is dip and at good salons it lasts me 3-4 weeks. I went in to have my broken one fixed. On a clipboard in the waiting area, I noticed it says dip lasts 2-3 weeks. I made it clear to the employees that I was just there to fix the broken ones. I waited and waited. Pedicure after pedicure was taken in before me even though I was there before them. I finally got seated at the table and the owner looked at my nails and I showed her what happened. I told her I had just gotten them done a week ago. She said no problem we'll fix it for you. Then no one could find the dip color I had originally so she said they would change it for me. I had to go with it at this point as i couldn't have them be all different colors. So this guy comes and does my nails. It takes so long that I'm going to be rushing to get to work. After all I only wanted a couple of them repaired. He hurt me by using the drill on my cuticle and i had to tell him he was hurting me. He said I'll check you out up front. Then said it's gonna be $45 for the overlay. I never wanted them redone in the first place. He said he could take $10 off so I paid the $35 as I was now officially late for work bc of this place. I called back to talk to the owner but she wasn't there. They scammed me, and I will never go back. Had I known they were gonna charge me for a new service I would have gone elsewhere. $95 in 8 days for nails is ridiculous. Take some pride in your work and guarantee your services. read more

This review is for the nail place in the Walmart shopping center. My husband got a pedicure because he has hard skin on the bottom of his feet. The place was dirty. The tools they used were not cleaned and the owner walked around without shoes. The girl that worked on my husbands feet was confused all the time with what to do next. She left her chair and ran to the back. We didn't know what or why she disappeared. After 4-5 minutes she returned saying she was on the phone for medical reasons. We think that's what she said. There was an employee sitting at a work station. He played on his laptop and also took a siesta the entire time we were there. Everything about this place was unprofessional. I took my teenage granddaughter here. In the past, they have done outstanding jobs on her nails. The man that did them today didn't do that great. He cut her with the file a few times and she started bleeding. He put some antiseptic(I'm assuming that's what it was) on the cuts and they burned. So I'm new to the area and was in need of a pedicure , and found Hollywood Nails, so I booked the pedicure and went in. It said I had an appointment with Kevin but the lady at the door took me and did the pedicure. She asked me what one I wanted and I said the $25 one, she seems disappointed but money is tight right now and that's all I can afford. It was the fastest pedicure I've ever had (about 15 minutes), I've had pedicures before and they take approximately 45 minutes. Needless to say it was not a good pedicure, I could and should have done it myself. I don't know if it was because I got the $25 pedicure, but any Establishment that wants to have return customers should give it their all. Including tip it cost me $30, that might not be a lot to some but I work hard for my money, and when I spend it I like to get my money's worth. I was going to try the Micro dermabrasion soon, but after Ive see how they don't value their customers, I'll be looking else where. read more

I had been here since they are open about a year ago. Great services every time. They are only salon in the area that has receptionist to attend tyou when you come in and answer your questions. I love their friendly family service. Tommy and his wife, are great. I have SNS nail and they last more than three weeks. The salon is big and beautiful- you do not have to sit on top of one another. I'm not sure why they've had bad reviews?? I had a gel pedicure from a sweet lady I think she said her name was Gina. They were attentive. Fast but took their time and had great attention to detail. A little pricey ($45) for gel pedicure as they charge for gel takeoff. But I gladly paid it for the work they did! Plus they were one of the only places open on Sunday which is my only day off. I was never greeted, they just threw me in a chair for my pedicure and was handed a color selection. Had my pedicure it was done ok. The worst part was the manicure. So sad that this place did not work out for me. I went in after emailing the owner about trying the SNS powder manicure and a pedicure. I made an appointment with Tommy. When I arrived, I waited up at the front for quite some time before being greeted. There was no one at the front desk. I mentioned I had an appointment, they asked me to pick a color and sat me down next to Tommy's station while he was still providing services for another customer. Manicure: C When Tommy came over with my color, I noticed it was not the SNS brand that we spoke about. He tried to convince me that they are all the same, but I insisted on the SNS. He went into the back room and came back with another sample of colors from the SNS brand. I chose one and he said they were out of it. I chose a second choice and he said they were also out of that one. So, I agreed to try the DND brand of powder because they had the color. The beginning of my manicure was so frustrating because employees kept coming up to Tommy with problems, he kept getting pulled away, there was some yelling - it just wasn't a spa experience. I almost got up and walked out but my nails were already filed down. He began to tell me again that all the powders are the same and that the base with Vitamin E is the most important. He pointed to it, but again it was not the SNS brand. At this point, I gave up and just let him finish. The best part about the manicure was the paraffin wax at the end. (After getting home, I realized that my pointer finger application is wonky, wobbly, and has a lopsided bump). There was no neck or shoulder massage. Pedicure: D The pedicure chairs were clean, that was the best part. I chose the callus remover pedicure. (I was also transferred to someone else, even though I made the appointment with Tommy). He put the callus remover on my heel but didn't wrap it and stuck my foot back in the water. ??? :( There was no leg or foot massage and no shoulder/neck massage after. He also tore up the skin on the top of my feet with the pumice stone. This was definitely NOT relaxing. There was no moisturizing cream either. SO bizzarre. Price for service ... I'll let you decide: $75.00 It's too bad - this place could be nice. I was happy to finally find a good nail salon close to home. I've had my nail done there 3x gel full set and fills. I have 0 complaints. I'm ALWAYS greeted as I enter and haven't had to wait. Even if I did they have flat screens with Netflix plus the place is so big feels nice and open. Their very detailed with their work and communicate well with what I want. Prices are on point better than most places. I'm very observant I have seen all their employees very attentive with the customers and very friendly. I went for a pedicure. Besides the warehouse feel of it, I don't like TVs in the background and they had two on two different stations. How relaxing. My pedicure was a basic pedicure, though he tried to up sale me several times. I was very specific that I only wanted the basic pedicure. He did a fine job. When I got up there to pay I was told it would be $5.00 extra because he scrapped my feet. That is the usual process during a pedicure. First I would like to start by saying please do not come here. I live in the area and typically go to the Hollywood nails in Brunswick forest, but they were booked today so I came to this one. I know they are not related stores. This has been the worst nail experience I have ever had. The workers were arguing with each other from the minute we sat down until we left. How can you have an enjoyable experience in that type of environment? The worst part though, an old man who appears to work here picked up the cuticle trimmer off of the tray of materials that were about to be used during my friends pedicure. He proceeded to cut his own nails with it, and then put it back on her tray. This is completely unsafe and unsanitary. She got up and began to leave, and when she was questioned she told the lady what happened. The worker went from speaking English to no longer understanding.
