Went here with my freinds who were regulars.. the nail guy was nice and did an amazing job on my acrylics, but he had my teenage friends paint a little girls' nails which made the girls' mother rightfully upset (to be paying for a service that wasnt done by an employee). I don't believe they ended up making her pay after she complained, but I believe another lady did pay for the same service by teens. Got my lashes done here and the lady was very rude... She had me keep my eyes open during the application which is strange, but I suppose expected for non-lash techs at nail salons. She got visablely angry when my eye twitched due to her poking my eyeball. She complained about me to my face, sighed, stomped, and raised her voice. Stick to certified lash technicians y'all! read more

I would not change him for nothing his the best in this area.. pedicures and manicures My husband and I get them with the older lady we love her. My friend my and I went to get mani pedi's and it was wonderful. Frank did my feet and David did my mani. Even tho I had to ask them to fix some mistakes, they did it without problem. They were funny and had great communication. Only problem was the bubbles in my gel work on my nails. They treat everybody kind no matter your race, unlike some salons. So far the best nail salon I've been to in Wilmington, NC. read more

This shop is around the corner from me. I have been getting my nails and feet done for over 15 years. And don't mind paying for great work. Customer service is everything to me! I do not get my fingers done here but my toes I do. The female every time I come in talks about my hands asking who what when where and trying to discredit my black nail tech. So as I present my card she say so you don't have cash... I replied I gave you the tender I wanted to use. She states they prefer cash... This is not the first time, she also ask for tips by saying...how much tip? And also she didn't fulfill the pedicure basics like im a fool. So I paid her and decided to to this review... this will be my last visit here. She is only this wat towards minority's as I have sent someone in of different race and they didn't experience these issues! read more

Absolutely love Nail World they do a really good job each time I recommend the guy who is the owner his name is ("T") to do your nails he usually sits in the first chair and the older grey hair woman to do your pedicure. The guy who's the owner does an amazing job and so does his wife! (Helen) They're both really good! But the other guy who's there who sits like near the end is terrible don't let him do your nails he made mine so huge (thick and long) and crooked once , so I only go to the two owners! And the old lady for a pedicure she has glasses and grey hair she did amazing on my toes and actually got them really clean and took her time with the massage!! And it was all pretty affordable. Don't let the lady doing pedicures who is younger do your pedicure she had gel polish literally on my skin around my toes it looked horrible! And not to mention hurt to take off!! Updating a previous review. I was not impressed with their manicure services. Giving two stars because pedicures here are great but I will never get a manicure here again. The older guy who did my nails did not talk to me, pushed my hands away and to him instead of just asking or telling me, was very painful and tried to argue with me about one of the nails being crooked. He would say that he would fix it but then tried to say it was my nail bed and that it was fine. The white tips of my manicure are crooked. They pressured me to pay before the service was even completed. You can see in my pics that when my thumb is flushed against a flat service the white is not straight. I will only be back for pedicures from the lovely women who work there but I will NEVER let that man touch my hands again. read more

Not from this area so decided to give this nail salon a try after seeing great reviews. First off let's begin with how I'm still traumatized from my previous pedicure experience with the lady that was so rough on my feet, so I was nervous to try a new place overall. I come here and I was amazed with how gentle my pedicure was! The lady wore gloves and everything was sterilized. She did everything amazingly from start to end. The prices were great too! I wish this salon was where I lived! read more

Went in for a full set and was not very satisfied. I was seen in a timely matter, but my nails weren't shaped well enough and some of them are crooked. There are also tiny bubbles in the polish of a majority of my nails. Only giving two stars because of the timeliness and the color. Do not see myself coming back here or recommending them to a friend. read more
