This laundromat happened to be the closest to our condo; we didn't bother reading reviews which was a huge mistake! Walking in, it was pretty run down with pieces of the wall missing and water ALL over the floor. The soap dispenser was empty and the change machine wouldn't take our paper bills, which was pretty frustrating. There is an option for you to pay with an app, but with the spotty cell service we get in Mammoth, it was a lot quicker for my husband to head next door to Vons to pick up some tide pods and coins rather than to wait for the app to download. Nobody seems to work there to help troubleshoot. FINALLY after having everything we needed to do our laundry (change, detergent), we placed our items in the first open machine we saw..... and it wouldn't start or take our money. This happened with the next couple of machines we tried after that until we finally found one that worked. We went out to breakfast and came back to find the machine unplugged and pulled away from the wall. Uhh what? I didn't have the patience to run it again because it wasn't clear If the cycle had completed or not. I just decided to throw it in the dryer so we could be DONE with this place. Also, the dryer ate about a dollar's worth of coins before it decided to want to work. Do yourself a favor and drive 2 more minutes to the next laundromat. This place will waste SO SO much of your time. read more

I read the harsh reviews for this place, but honestly...it came in clutch when we found out our air bnb didn't have a washer and dryer. We had camped 2 days prior to checking in and desperately needed to wash clothes. This laundromat is open 24hrs! It's dated, but was clean and got the job done! Just fyi...you don't have to take quarters. They have an app to upload so u can pay with a card. I'm glad the negative reviews didn't scare me off! $2.75 for regular washers and $2.50 for dryers. read more

Go to the other coin-op Aloha Sudz. The only thing good about this place is that it's 24 hours, where Aloha is not. Machines are old, and very limited front-loading machines. One of the front-loaders ate up about $2 of quarters, but took the others just fine enough for it to start up. Also note the dryers are a flat fee for 20 min or something like that vs. at Aloha where you can insert a quarter per 5 minutes. read more

Sure the 24 hour thing is great, but the place is severely lacking in cleanliness and maintenance. The commercial washers both had mold inside the detergent compartment and the door to one of the large dryers wouldn't latch for more than a few seconds. I brought both things to the owner's attention. The first he blamed on his cleaning person and said, "It used to be worse." For the broken latch he lied and said the door would latch one the dryer started. This is not the case for any laundromat dryer I have ever used, nor was I willing to waste money for a 30 minute cycle to find out. He never bothered to put a sign on the broken drier. read more

It's a 24-hour laundromat! 8 regular size wash machines ($2.50 a load); 5 large commercial washers ($7 a load); and 4 of the smaller commercial washers ($5 a load). The 16 speed queen dryers (15 working) are $2.50 for 30 minutes. They also have some benches, two small folding areas, a change machine, and some coin-operated detergent dispensers. Totally adequate place to get your clothes clean at 6am! read more

Great convenience staying open 24 hours but that's where the complements end. Many of the washing machines are either out of order or don't work properly. Good luck finding a refund slip or contact number. Like many things in Mammoth Lakes...if you have a monopoly customer satisfaction doesn't really matter. read more

Severely disappointed!!! Just did 4 loads in 4 different washing machines, and none of the clothes were clean afterwards. I always make sure that my clothes are thoroughly soaked and soap before I let the wash cycle continue. Wasted 10 dollars on the washing machines alone. Nobody picks up the phone number. I wish I could get a refund for all my uncleaned clothes. Will NEVER come back. read more

I wish I would have listened to the reviews before I went here as well. It was disappointing in my experience and mirrored the experience of the below reviews. I don't know why I still went here 3 times while living in Mammoth for a couple months. Pretty sure the other option in town is also the same price. The impression that you get walking in is likely to reflect the experience you will have with the place. I give it 2 stars because my first experience of the 3 was Satisfactory. Mission accomplished I got my clothes clean without a big mess. The second time one of the big machines swallowed $5 and I am not sure that I will be able to get that back. No one to contact and no signage anywhere. I would like to request that a $5 credit be given to the next person that walks in so they can get some laundry done. The last time I went there the machine finished and 3 of my items of clothes were completely covered in dirt! A very thick almost mud like substance. If you like to clean your clothes on 'the edge' of the clothing line then this is your place for 30% odds.
