Bowlero Lakeville Rocks for Birthday Parties!…read more We just had the BEST 10th birthday party for our son Jaycen at Bowlero Lakeville this past Saturday! They reserved 3 bowling lanes for our group of 17 kids and a few adults, which was perfect. Food & Drinks: We opted for their party package and it was fantastic. The chicken tenders, fries, pizza, hot dogs, chips & salsa, and chocolate chip cookie cake were a huge hit with the kids (and adults!). There was also unlimited soda (Pepsi products) which kept everyone happy and hydrated. Amazing Staff: A huge shoutout to Felicia, the General Manager, and Jenna, the Event Manager. They were both phenomenal! Felicia was on top of everything, making sure our party ran smoothly. We were so impressed to see her helping Jenna clean up after the party - that kind of leadership doesn't go unnoticed! She was incredibly friendly and truly made Jaycen's birthday special. Both Felicia and Jenna checked in with us constantly to make sure we had everything we needed - they were on point! Fun for Everyone: The kids even got arcade game cards loaded with funds to play with, and Felicia and Jenna encouraged them to enjoy both bowling and the arcade games. They were incredibly patient with all the excited boys running around. Taking it Home: After the party, Jenna helped us gather all the leftover food and provided boxes so we could take it home (seriously, enough food for days!). Overall Experience: This was an absolute slam dunk of a birthday party! Felicia's management and Jenna's event coordination made it such a success. I like that they use a card system rather than coins and the tickets are electronic on it! It's not cheap per se, but definitely cheaper fun for a large group to play a handful of arcade games. We enjoyed the basketball, Big Buck Hunter, multiplayer hot wheels, photo booth, punching bag, and more. Their ticket prizes were fun - we ended up giving ours to some kids there. Overall, a fun spot to come hang out on a winter night with a group and be a kid again!

This place seems to always be getting worse…read more... Okay if you don't know the business model of AMF/Brunswick/Bowlero they generally claim bankruptcy or re-brand every 10-15 years. They will run up debt (through a combination of incompetent management and doing a big update/remodel) then hold on for dear life for a year or two then file for bankruptcy protection, get the debt discharged, change names and repeat. So going back 28 years it was AMF who merged with Brunswick and then did a big remodel to Brunswick and BAM bankruptcy in 2001. So after that bankruptcy they rebranded everything to Brunswick and were going good for about a decade then BAM once again they went bankrupt in 2013. After that they rebranded as Brunswick Zone which went on for a few years and then changed it to Bowlero and it feels like the cycle is about to repeat and expect bankruptcy around the corner. So this particular location USED to have a nice bar with eight pool tables, darts, a cozy fireplace, plenty of seating, and was busy on weekends. I mean they needed two bartenders for all the customers and was going just fine. Yeah Covid happened, yeah economy took a downturn, so what did they do....? They tore out the bar and now it's just a big empty room with three pool tables in the middle. Half the cues have no tips, there is no bar, no food, no employees just one room with three pool tables (and one broken table in the corner covered with a tarp) and a sign that says "See front desk for pool balls". The room was DEAD EMPTY....it's like they're trying to lose money. Another funny thing is the bowling alley. One side is all remodeled with nice high back chairs and leather seating and all modern while the other side of the bowling area is the old tables and hard plastic chairs. Like they remodeled half the bowling area....? Who does that?? I would expect the corporate company to be in bankruptcy court in a year or two. Also it's perplexing to me why this business would shut down a profitable bar and pool league and just have an empty room now????

We were able to do around 4 games. Depends on how fast you bowl. We decided to get some drinks. The prices for even just a regular soda are insane! $5 for a Mt Dew that doesn't get a refill? And is full with ice? No. Haha We also got the cotton candy lemonade and dragon fruit lemonade. These tasted so cheap and VERY sweet. The lemonade is not tart. That was even MORE expensive. The pretzels with cheese are what you would buy at Walmart but marked way up. Again not worth it at all! May be the pitcher of soda and pizza would be better for a family? The vibes here are very fun! Large projectors with games on, fun music and everything was clean! Everyone we encountered was very friendly! At one point, one of the bowling balls got stuck in the gutter and an employee came out quick to fix it! There is an arcade, a pool table, bags/corn hole and plenty of spots to sit.
