We always have so much fun here! The space is so big and open it's great for big gatherings. We love coming here to celebrate any kind of event. It's easy to order food and drinks at the bar and you can seat yourself at any table. They usually have whirlyball courts open but it is easier to reserve. It's nice if you have a big group you can switch players out since the games are about 10 minutes. You can reserve for the hour and add time if needed. They also have so many other things available here like bowling, escape rooms and a small arcade area. Food is decent, good options. Really good when it's hot and fresh! read more

This was so fun!! I'd never played before so was excited to try it out. We attended for a friend's bday party so I can't speak to pricing since they reserved a court, but it was great to have the court to ourselves for two hours! For a group of ~20 it was perfect: I believe 10 can play at a time so we got to switch in and out. The game itself is a mix of lacrosse and number cars - even more fun than I expected, and our group of ~30 year olds plus some parents had a blast. We of course ended up here because we were staying at the hotel next door. As a tourist, we had to check it out. I was surprised at how much space there was inside, and how much there was to do in there. We didn't get a chance to try the actual whirly ball activity, but we did go bowling and play at the arcades. We ate dinner there one night and also spent some time at the bar. I actually enjoyed the birria taco with the consumes. The flavors were there. I think it was evenly balanced out. More meat is always great, but I don't think it was lacking. My son had the tenders, which was OK. The bartenders were also the servers. One bartender particularly was extremely nice and efficient. Both nights we went there were not too busy, but a fair amount of customers. We had a great time and were able to roam around to see what they had to offer. read more

I was very surprised to find beef birria pizza on a menu that was mostly just regular sports bar food. Cons: While that pizza was unique, the execution was a little questionable. Very few toppings, poorly cooked crust, and a dipping sauce that was almost more soy sauce than it was birria. Also, don't get me started on the service. They explained the rules to us and showed us how to operate the bumper cars and then we got to play a couple rounds. The bumper carts were comfortable to sit in, but definitely wear pants as my legs got a little bruised up from the handle bumping into me whenever I got bumped by other cars. The court is a little warm so I would wear something lighter and breathable. There is not much space to store any belongings in the court so don't bring too much in. We were apart of a group of ten that played whirley ball on a Saturday evening at 6:00. Our friend made the reservation so I don't know how that process went. There was plenty of parking out front. Location is easy to find. There is a person working the front desk to check you in and direct you to where you need to go. We played on the whirley ball court upstairs. There's a staff member that resets the court and gets you set up. My main issue: There were no lockers to keep your belongings in! We just left our purses under our jackets on a table outside the court. The court has plenty of windows where you can keep an eye on your stuff but it wasn't secure. Anyone walking by could grab it. Whirley ball itself was really enjoyable if you have a competitive side. It takes a sec to get the hang of driving the cars, no breaks, and the steering is a crank. It was pretty challenging to throw the ball at the target for it to count as a "basket" but that also made it fun. The whiffle ball got stuck under the cars a few times, eating up some precious game time. You can call for another ball from the staff member or attempt to move around and it'll pop out eventually. Overall, a very fun hour of time. We each paid $25 per person with a group of ten. (Ten is the max amount of players). We did not try food or drinks here. read more

The food is really good as well! I think I spent most of the 4 hours there playing laser tag and whirly ball. First of all, what the heck is whirly ball you ask? Well imagine sitting in a bumper car, and tryin to play lacross. The object of the game is to throw the whiffle ball into the target that is as tall as a basketball hoop. Now, it is harder than it sounds but is soo much fun! You get to really see the competitive nature in everyone! The laser tag arena is also super fun! You can play teams or singles. One note, you get super sweaty running around! but you get to see where you rank on the scoreboard when you are finished and that makes people want to shoot you even more! Attended a birthday party - exclusively for laser tag here. We rented the space for 1 hr each round is about 7-10 minutes with a couple minutes in between to switch out players and check the score board. We arrived a few minutes before check in time to grab drinks and socialize. They did not have drink menus and when the bartender noticed me looking up the online menu on my phone he told me they don't put out the drink menus out because they don't carry all the ingredients to make the drinks listed on the site/menu. He made me some kind of fruity drink. Overall nice bar staff. Laser tag- we had a little over 20 ppl show up. It was around $350/1 hr of laser lag (~$17 per person). Outside of the arena the staff explained the rules and how things worked. The place was a bit loud with everything going on (other parties and such) but we got the gist of things. We then moved to a tiny room where the vest/laser guns were. As we were a large group we needed every vest available. Part way through the first round a few of the vest died/weren't charged so that made every round less ppl which meant less rounds for everyone to play in general. The arena was a decent size for the amount of people they allow in at a time. It was 2 stories and enough room to move around. I will say this, the first room we entered to get gear smelled REALLY bad - musty/sweat & food (the staff were eating) then when you step into the arena it smelled like pee. That part alone made me rate low because based on a lot of the vest not being charged and the smells, everything felt dirty and gross & it was hot in the arena, which made me not want to participate anymore. The vest needed to be cleaned because they smelled & who wants to put on a musty vest?! We went on a Wednesday night and it was very busy despite being a week day. They have an upstairs bar but it was closed despite how busy the place was. We needed water and had to go back downstairs to get it. The staff was nice enough to give us cups and a few pitchers to bring upstairs for our party - again great bar staff!!! I probably wouldn't go here again but the issues I had could definitely be fixed easily. read more

This was surprisingly very fun!!! We were in town to visit the Mall of America for the second time. We spotted Whirly Ball the first time but didn't go. This time around we did go and had a blast. We went midday on a Friday and had the entire place to ourselves! I'm not sure if it was because it's new to us or what, but Whirly ball was extremely fun but deceptively difficult. We played three 9-minute games. Trying to drive the bupper-car style vehicle with one hand while catching and throwing a wiffle ball with a short lacrosse styled racket is way harder than it looks!! We were all yelling and laughing the entire time! After the Whirly Ball games we got a bite to eat. They have a nice menu and a full bar! We then enjoyed bowling and video games! Our group of 12 family members from 23-61 had the best time on Black Friday at whirlyball. We are always on the lookout for things to do when the extended family is in town for thanksgiving so decided to give this a try. What is it:a mash up of bumper cars, track ball played on a small basketball court How it works: -5 v 5 -red v yellow -games are 9 min so we subbed in and out -scoring is automatic -fun for all adults -lots of different strategies-defense? Offense? Blocking? Hide by the goal? We booked 90 min but the standard is an hour. Looked like they had about three courts, we were upstairs. I did later find a couple of bruises in odd spots on knees and hips and you have to sign a waver. You get instructions before and steer with a sort of joy stick that is easier than the complicated description but once you start doing it you'll get the hang of it quickly. Note-you really have to hit the exact center of the basketball backboard sized target to score-no mulligans in this game! read more

Whirlyball is like playing lacrosse & basketball on bumper cars. They had several parties while I was there, so it was a little busy. There is, also, a bar, laser tag and bowling. So, something for everyone to do. This is a great team sport for families, coworkers, and friends. Doesn't look like it, but the competition can get fierce. It could, also, be a great ice breaker. While this game looks simple, it is challenging. I didn't scored any points, but I gave a couple of assists. Great games, Bad service and organization. Great game of whirly ball but our referee was sleeping and took a while to help us so it took away from our playing time. We then continue to play laser tag which went well without problems. Following that we returned to our seats and found they were given to another group without notifying us. We preordered pizza prior to arriving and spoke to a worker when we got there and made sure they got our order. The company ended up giving our prepaid pizza to the group who stole our spots once again without telling us or checking with either party. Once again they had great games but I would not recommend this place for large parties or events because they seemed very unorganized. It ruined the birthday boys mood along with the other partygoers that had to leave early without eating. read more

Super fun activity. We had all ages join-kids to adults to seniors and everyone was able to get the hang of it and participate. Then went down the bowling and that was also fun. Whirly ball is a great activity to do with a group of friends or as a team building exercise with your company. I went for a work party and was pleasantly surprised. They served buffet-style food that was actually pretty good - flatbreads, chips and dip, and other easy snacking food that was perfect for a bit of quick mingling between rounds of whirly ball. I'm a big fan of whirly ball and would give it a 5 out of 5 if everything was in order, but unfortunately at this location there were a couple whirly ball carts that kept going out during the games. Sometimes getting rammed into by other carts would get the stuck person going again, but that wasn't always the case and it made it a little less fun. Hopefully the location fixes up the couple troublesome carts again so bad driving is again the only thing interrupting ramming through the course. read more

We wanted to go but the computer was down but after looking around and using the bathroom the place is dirty and very unkept. Save your time and money cause if you do go you won't go back. This place had dirt tables and dust and messy areas all over. I couldn't imagine to send my kids into the laser tag grossness read more
