I first made an appointment with Dr.Ali one year ago. I went for Sciatica pain. I also received free X-rays and exam. Dr.Ali not only successfully treated my Sciatica she also recommended a program that drastically improved my posture and spine alignment. My husband couldn't believe the difference. I did take 3 months off for a knee replacement, which was easier to recover due to staff rooting me along. I am presently almost to the end of my first three month series of treatment. I have gone to NUMEROUS chiropractors, orthopedists, and physical therapists over the past 50 years, with no lasting positive results. Within a week of receiving treatment from Dr. Ali at Holt, the pain was completely gone from my right shoulder. Unfortunately, while working to straighten my 73 year old spine, the pain shifted to my left side, for which I receive an adjustment, traction, an exercise plan three times weekly. I have decreasing pain in my arthritic neck. Being a cancer survivor, I have significant peripheral neuropathy in all extremities. I hope over time I will experience some relief, but even if I don't, the overall pain relief and increased stability will make this treatment a success. Dr. Holt has done more for my health and fitness than any previous doctor I have seen. I had gone many times to other chiropractors only for the pain to return. Previous doctors always told me to rest and take pain medications, but Dr. Holt actually took time to examine multiple X-rays and listened to everything I had to say. He was able to diagnose my back pain, explain what the problem was and what was causing the problem. It turned out that my left leg was 10mm shorter than my right, so my disc was getting pinched constantly on the right side, ultimately resulting in degeneration. As simple as that is, I was shocked to find out what my problems are. Would it have killed a previous doctor or chiropractor to wonder why my hips were not parallel to the ground? To be honest, I think some other doctors are jaded due to their inability to solve most back pain. Not Dr. Holt, he is always excited and passionate about helping his patients because he actually can, not just give you painkillers. His method of healing does not involve a magic pill but does require serious work on behalf of the patient; you must realign your bones and force your posture into the correct position. This can be painful for some, but you get out what you put in. If you don't like pushing your bones and muscles into correct alignment, then you are not going to get much out of this clinic, or any other. Dr. Holt can pop things back in place, but it's your responsibility to put in the work. It is not the cheapest care, but you get what you pay for, make sure you have some savings before considering this clinic. The man is running a business that is not cheap to maintain, and has his own personal bills to pay. Or course personalized attention is not cheap. Thankfully my initial X-rays and examination were free. Someone else criticized the clinic for their advertising. My response is that even things that work well need good advertising. We need to be sold on good choices and do the same "manipulative" salesmanship to kids who don't want vegetables. Guess what, vegetables are not free either. He has potential clients bring their spouse because he knows it is a big financial load but wants both partners to be aware of the benefits. I am glad he sold me on his program, now my pain is gone. I made an appointment to come get their "free consultation" they called me back to say they couldnt do the Friday appointment, that their receptionist was new and I said no problem, that's fine. We rescheduled for Monday. I said that was perfect because we're on graveyard and Monday is the one day day we get up earlier. I show up on Monday (after getting up 2 hours early) and am told my appointment is tomorrow, I told her this wasn't what I was told and she said she would look into it. She comes back and tells me "remember when we called you and said we couldn't do Monday" which never happened, they told me they couldn't do Friday. Get your office staff on the right page. I absolutely recommend Holt Chiropractic and Massage to anyone who seeks life changing pain relief. I have scoliosis, have suffered with headaches, cramps, sciatica, and many other ailments resulting from subluxations. Dr. Holt has been treating me since May and my posture has tremendously improved and keeps on improving. I no longer have cramps and sciatica issues either. I discovered Holt Chiropractic at a Farmer's Market. After promises of solving just about every health problem I had been struggling with for years and felt desperate to resolve, I paid $42 for an initial exam which included everything I needed, such as x rays. I went through all the tests and x rays. I attended the hour long "presentation" as did my spouse as requested. Through this whole process we were told that "desire matters more than money" and that as long as I WANTED to get better (which I most certainly did and was willing to do whatever it took) then we could work out the financial side of things. This was reassuring to me because as I told them several times, money was very tight, but I was desperate for relief. After ALL THIS time and effort and "deposits" on my part to show my commitment to the treatment, we were lead into a room where we were told the price tag for my "personal treatment plan", a mere $4,000 roughly! When I said we obviously couldn't afford that, we were offered to apply for their "credit plan", which we did and were denied for (consequently adding an inquiry to the credit we're trying to build). They never offered any other solutions, said there was no payment plan available other than the credit route, it had to paid up front. We left there feeling very distraught about our situation. Since that time we have heard NOTHING from them. No other offers to work with us financially, no payment plans, nothing. Out of everything I put into it, all the time, effort, hope... I never even got an adjustment or any treatment of any kind. Just promises and claims that flew out the window as soon as I didn't have several grand to put in his hand. I did get a "free" 30 minute massage (which only lasted about 20) that was nice, but certainly not worth all the false hope I had been pumped with. I have since been recommended to another chiropractor who charges roughly $60 for the first visit and $32 after that. You get seen when YOU need it. There's no plan that has to be followed and you don't have to drain your entire bank account or take out loans just to feel better. In short, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

Well, first off I was not going to write a review, but being weeks later and lost of my free time I decided to read the other reviews.. Holy moly.. same experience. I hurt my back awhile back, tore a muscle and have been in pain. it got pretty bad, so dealing with if for 3 months roughly I had a day off and decided to call some local chiropractors to try and get in, thinking I may have done something to the disc. I called roughly 5 different places, some did not accept my insurance, and others were booked out. Finally I got ahold of holts office, and they had an opening. I asked if they accepted my insurance, because who would pay out of pocket when you are covered right? they said just come in and we will help you out, first visit is on us. instead of verifying other offices further, I made the mistake of going in. Like others said here come all the snakey sales tactics.. again I tried to verify my insurance, and they would not directly answer the question. I went through the dumb little video that basically told me in a cartoon that every spine is mesed up, and sat waiting in rooms that showed typical photos of messed up spines, because waiting... of course you are going to read them right? Holt comes in and I am frustrated at this point.. do you accept my insurance.. got the runaround again.. took the free exrays hoping he would show me what is going on with my spine, or if it was twisted maybe adjust it.. nope, just the slimy routine pitch about how he needs me to "fit his offices criteria" meaning big pockets and endless free time. This is all a sales pitch, and ive seen the same seminars on this stuff as he has, but choose not to run my business like this... but its the only way to make max profit... So yea.. no adjustment and wouldn't even show me the xrays. Then he had the nerve to try and re schedule me, and as above the "bring your wife in" routine started. I left the office feeling like if I was of a lower IQ this man would have shook the money out of my families pockets in a heart beat... I run a business and deal with customers daily... the business owners that run a business like this are snakes. I received a call a couple days later for the follow up appointment, and asked again... yet the 5th time... does this business accept my insurance. of course I got the just come in and we can talk about it speech again... as I'm sure they already had me a nice little payment plan made up already. read more

I believe Dr. Holt is very knowledgeable in his craft, however, the sales BS is a complete failure in our opinion because people don't want to purchase a time share, we only want great chiropractic & health care. I am 24 years old and have been going though chiropractic care as long as I could remember. Even with the care throughout my entire life I always was in pain. I was in a bus accident in July of 2006 and have had MAJOR issues in my neck, lower back and hips that have prevented me from doing many things that someone my age should be doing. I had to stop doing motor cross (which I have been doing since I was 4) because of the pain, I could not even play with my dog at the age of 16! My mother started going to DR. Holt and told me that I should see him. I went to the exam (x-rays, posture pics, etc) which he provide on his dime. I went to the class that he puts on which was VERY informational. Like I said I have been going to chiropractic care forever and learned SO much though his class that I never knew before. I also got to see xrays (which others never did) to see what was actually going on in my spine! (It was a shock, let me tell you!!!) Yes there is a high cost if you are paying in advance (3 mths is usually the treatment plans), however it is worth your life. I have also brought in friends that are also in love with the place. Everything is so high tech and top of the line to make sure that you are getting all the treatment that you need. It is hard sometimes to get though the treatment, and in the last 7.5 mths (I started 2/25/13) I have wanted to give up a few times. I am now glad that I have not. For the 1st time in my life I finally today can say that I am not in pain all day every day (it is still there sometimes but really a 75%+ improvement) and it is all thanks to Dr. Holt and all his staff. Oh yea, the staff, cant forget to thank them as well for being there!! Jessica, Shanel and Kim are AMAZING girls that make you feel like they want you there. Spring and Janell (massage girls) are both amazing as well and we have great conversations, my hour massages FLY by. (Sorry ladies of I spelled your names incorrect!) If you don't have some serious extra money to lay down, DON'T waste your time. This guy cares about MONEY, bottom line!!! And after about 2 weeks of being told you are basically dying or quote "Dying on the vine", they will bring you into a room, and when they find out you can't pay the THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS UPFRONT or qualify for there credit plan, you will never hear from them again. Oh and by the way don't believe discount entry exams. I got back my insurance statement before he found out I did not qualify and I was charged for EVERYTHING. I was injured in a car accident in sept. 2012. I had started care with another chiropractor in the bremerton area. I wasnt getting any results after two months of intensive care. By intensive care I mean two massages a week, and 5 adjustments a week. I came to Holt Chiropratic, and massage December of that same year. I knew right away that this place was different.... The exams, xrays, and the consult were like none I'd ever had before. I never had a chiropractor insist that my husband be present for the report of findings so that he could be part, and understand my care. I have never had a Chiropractor insist on xrays prior to an adjustment. Thinking about it now, its like why wouldn't a chiropractor not want to see whats going on with you before care? I mean how do they gage results? Well in my opinion they don't. Dr Holt explained everything that was happening to me, what care I needed for my issues. At no time was I not the person who made the decisons on my health. He is very passionate about his craft, and encourages ME to take action with excersises, and my care. I truely feel like I am the captian of my health airplan, and no longer a passager. I have seen a lot of Chiropractors in the last 8 years since starting chiro for the first time. None of those Dr.s got me the results. It was time I stopped doing the same thing without the bennefit. I went from a -2% neck curve, chronic neck & low back pain, and bouts of not being able to walk without crying. TO a 24% curve in my neck ( the math of -2 to +24 is amazing) ablity to do activities like running, and zumba. I'm now able to more of things I love. Doc made no promises besides the fact that he could help me, if I was willing to put in the work. I think together we made a great team. I have referred my whole family here for care.
