Composition Coffee is a coffee shop offering several coffee drinks, along with match, chai and beyond. I ordered a cortado both times and both times the coffee was perfect. Great tasting espresso with a kick, smooth and rich. They offer pastries from Aioli. We tried the coffee cake muffin, everything croissant, and passion fruit kougin mann. Staff is so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable in their craft. The shop decor is great and I especially love their loft area and natural light. You can even take some merch home - shirts, coffee and more. Can't wait to come back again and get caffeinated!

I stopped by on a Monday morning, but I could see how during the week this is a great place to work or just have a coffee date with a friend. Their menu is kinda small but they have the standard options one would want when ordering a coffee. They also make their sweeteners/syrups in house which I love. The employee at the register gave us a quick rundown of their menu and let us know about their seasonal specials. I ordered a flat white with a little bit of vanilla syrup and my friends ordered iced lattes with the Fall spice syrup. They also ordered some pastries/sweets which I did not try but they looked delicious and I'll probably try them on my next visit.

We had a choice of soup and went with the sweet potato pear. The tiers include delicious sandwiches (tuna, cucumber, egg, turkey), desserts, and scones. The scones are served with jam, lemon curd, and clotted cream. All food is made in-house or comes from a local bakery. Everything tasted very fresh. There is milk and honey on the table. The table is very elegantly set. Our server did an amazing job. He continually checked on us and kept our water glasses full. There is parking in the attached lot. I've been to many high teas and this is the BEST in South Florida. You can order A-la carte or do the 3-tier tea.

Serenity exceeded our expectations so much that my sisters and I returned for a farewell get together for my sister about six weeks later. The house that Serenity occupies was built in 1916 and definitely adds to the charm of the experience. The decor is quaint and 'girly' with large hats and tea pots scattered around the shelves and walls. Many tea cups, saucers, and plates are displayed throughout the shop. I was so happy that Serenity offers a gluten free menu. The first course for me consisted of a delicious sweet potato soup. I wished I could have eaten more but there was plenty more food to come. The gluten free finger sandwiches were also tasty. The chocolate covered strawberry, macaron, and brownie (all gf) finished up a filling tea service. The desserts were store bought and tasted good but they were obviously store bought and were a minor let down. We ended up boxing up some of our sandwiches and desserts to take home to enjoy later! Each of us were given our own large pot of tea to go along with our lunch. Our first visit, I chose Peach Black Tea while one of my sisters tried the Chai Black Tea. We both bought the same teas from the store in the tea house to take home with us as we enjoyed them so much. The individual tea pots are quite large, The tea pots are wrapped in large, colorful cozies to stay warm throughout our visit. My sisters and I sampled each others' tea, of course. Each of us also drank a glass of champagne. The service is attentive, friendly, and efficient. I wish I could remember the name our server as he took care of our table both times we visited. He really helped make our visits to Serenity special and relaxing. The owner and the staff really work together to make a visit to Serenity Garden Tea House & Cafe a fantastic experience for their guests. We'll be back!!

The exterior patio is nice and decorated with flowers. Although small inside, the options are endless!!! So many coffee, smoothie, and food items it was hard to choose. This Cuban-style coffee house really has it all - including local coffee beans, honey, and so much more that you can purchase. There was a small rush when we arrived on a Sunday morning so the food took a little while, but totally worthy the wait and the staff was so friendly. I got a hot caramel macchiato that was delicious. My boyfriend got an iced vanilla latte and a bacon, egg and cheese croissant that was also really good. The spinach and cheese empanada was the perfect morning snack for me and I couldn't leave without a guava and cheese pastry!

The sandwiches were filling and the meat was generous, but unfortunately, everything tasted a little bland for us. The coconut matcha was probably my biggest miss ... it tasted mostly like milk with just a slight coconut flavor, and the coconut taste came across a little artificial. That said, the lady working was so friendly, and the spot itself was really cute! They make homemade pastries and also sell coffee, honey, jams, and other goodies. Overall, a Cute local spot with friendly service & plenty of homemade goodies, but the food and matcha just weren't quite our taste.

I also shared the almond croissant which was delicious and flakey with the right amount of sweetness. My friend got a bagel sandwich which looked filling and delicious! With working overnight and getting back in the early morning, I would be craving "dinner" at 7am versus a breakfast spread. I found a lot of places selling breakfast at these early hours, but Johan's Joe was the only place I found that sold lunch items. On my first visit here, I got their Swedish meatballs platter and a lavender cardamom lemonade. I instantly fell in love. In fact, out of the 15 days of staying in West Palm Beach, I ate at Johan's Joe 11 times. Every single time I'd get a plate of Swedish meatballs. I also began to try out other items, like their waffles on the weekend, scrambled eggs, bacon, and soup. All fantastic. For beverages, I always got their lavender cardamom lemonade and later discovered the orange juice to be really good, too. How did I manage to eat Swedish meatballs 11 times in 2 weeks? I was curious, too. Upon reflecting, I realized how perfect the platter really is. It offers perfect balance. Let me explain: Texturally, there's a crispness from the pickled cucumbers, a slight pop from the whole lingonberries, a bounce from the meatballs, and creaminess from the mashed potatoes and gravy. The dish also has a mix of sweetness (lingonberries), tartness (pickled cucumbers), and salt (meatballs). There's even a mix of temperatures with the main platter being hot, while the lingonberries and cucumbers are cold. With only time to eat one meal a day, this turned out to have everything on one plate. Exactly what I craved and needed. The service here was very friendly, all the employees were polite and offered great service. It was also nice to see that there were also a handful of local regulars who I'd see every time. They definitely know how to create a welcoming and cozy spot. After leaving the area, I found myself actually missing this spot quite a bit. I will be back again for work soon, so I'll be able to get my meatball fix again. Thanks, Johan's Joe!
