Hole in the wall very popular. My group got an iced Americano, pineapple mint lemonade, berry protein smoothie, oatmeal raisin cookie, sweet cheese arepa and more. Loud, just a few tables, takes a bit of time to get food. Smoothie was meh. Arepa was great and cheesy, would get again. Mint lemonade was quite tasty. I have stopped here a few times to get a coffee or even a protein shake. I've never had the food here, but I'm sure I will eventually come in for a food item. Several of the other reviews were raving about the Colombian magic and I agree. I have ordered the café con leche and some green protein drink that was pretty damn good. I brought my nephew here and he loved the peanut butter protein drink that we had to come back for around two the next day. It's a cute location downtown West Palm Beach located where they used to have a Dunkin' Donuts. I think by adding this place brings such an improvement of variety downtown. Tried this Colombian coffee shop in downtown West Palm for the first time after a run and i loved it. The cozy atmosphere and friendly, fast service made it a great stop. The Colombian coffee was smooth and rich with a nice, natural sweetness, and the empanada was perfectly delicious with a homemade filling. I also tried one of their fruit smoothies which was very refreshing, not too sweet, and tasted fresh. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items! read more

Great coffee spot with some serious Colombian magic going on. I had a tinto--apparently a local treat--where they slow pour hot water through the beans with a sugar syrup infusion. I don't know how the voodoo works... but it works. Takes a little extra time, but the result is totally worth it. Smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. Stopped in here to spend my day studying. Immediately noticed the signs with the specials of the season. I thought they were so interesting and unique: the Palm Beach latte and the Spanish latte, just to name a couple. I ended up getting the Spanish latte and I was very impressed. in my opinion, it was the perfect proportions of cream, espresso, and sweetness! keep in mind however this is on the price your side with my latte being almost $10 after tip. I also got an Arepa. while I typically prefer the way a Venezuelan arepa is made, this one was spectacular. it was tasty and filling, which is exactly what I look for in my lunches! Unfortunately, I didn't spend my entire day studying here because the Wi-Fi was not great. I would've loved to stay longer and grab another drink, but I couldn't even get a page to load on my laptop. read more

Such a good find downtown. Good food and good coffee and great service. The atmosphere was so cute, decorated with art that seemed to be for sale along with jewelry. It was definitely authentic, and everything was fresh. The prices are pretty reasonable considering it's downtown. The iced Cuban coffee was one of the best I've had along with the delicious cheese bread. My friends got the Cuban sandwich, and they said it was incredible, along with their special iced latte of the month. Coffee was not good. If you're a coffee purest, this place is not for you. The food was reheated and the staff seemed surprised we were there and seemed bothered that they had to make anything. The atmosphere outside was nice but definitely not worth the $50 in coffee, plantain cheese sticks and croissant sandwiches. My real opinion: I think this place would be amazing if the coffee was better and the food was actually good. Because this cafe is in a great location, they probably don't have to work hard but for people who know great coffee, they will only stop here once, then take their business to Pinecrest Bakery where at least you know what you're getting and at a more affordable price. read more

Nice little place in WPB. They have great empanadas, I recommend trying all of them as they have different types and styles. We got baked beef and Columbian beef and guava and cheese. One was better than the next. Make sure to eat it fresh or take it home and heat it up. We also got a mocha here everyday which really hit the spot! Workers were friendly and quick. Wonderful coffee spot in the downtown WPB area! The area is really nice and you can always check out other locations near by. I came during work hours around noon to get work done. The owners seem to have Colombian origins and their nice decor and food pays homage to that. It is a relatively average sized location but there is a good amount of seating inside including a couch and a coffee table as well as some outside seating with table umbrellas. I always give brownie points to coffee places when they provide food on their menu, because I will bring my laptop to do work and get hungry using brain power! They have some traditional tasty Colombian snacks to pair with their coffee selection. These include pan de bono, and empanadas along with some pastries. Although I had eaten before coming so I didn't get to try any, I did see other customers order and they looked so yummy. I got a regular caramel iced latter for brain power and it helped a lot. I got the strawberry, Matcha and my Matcha turned brown as I was driving away I was stirring it, and even with it still being stirred, there is still tons of strawberry syrup at the bottom. I noticed that the Matcha had turned brown, and I've never had that happen before and as I continue to try to get through the taste all I tasted was syrup, so I turned around and drove back 3 miles to the store to ask them. You know if it had been made the regular way or you know, maybe if like there was like an extra pump or you know how it was made so I can understand why it turned brown and I was greeted with attitude actually more of sarcasm and being told that's the way it's normally made. I then asked for a completely different drink as I'd been sipping syrup literally and the shaken espresso wasn't for me either. I wasn't upset or anything and received attitude. Definitely not what I was expecting. I'm a lover of a great matcha, espresso, etc. and frequent different cafe's. I won't return to this one. read more

Cute little breakfast/coffee place connected to the library! I was looking for a place with a good empanada and found it. Tried the regular baked and Colombian empanadas. Both delicious, but different. I recommend trying both if you haven't yet. Tried the apple pastry and it was delicious as well! Flaky and not overfilled with apple filling. You'll likely end up in the lot across the street, which isn't free. There isn't much for free parking in the area. The shop itself is cute and homey, with several small tables available to sit at. It's a Colombian coffeeshop, so the options lean Latin. I ordered a cafe con leche and a guacamole chicken arepa. The food came quickly and seemed fresh. The coffee was delicious and I had to hold myself back from ordering another arepa! So good! Service was very friendly and the owner even came back to check in on me since I was sitting there and working on my computer for a while. I really like Salento Coffee. This is a fantastic coffee bar with Colombian arepas and other delights for noshing lightly. I had initially come here a few months back and enjoyed their nitro cold brew. Recently, I returned and discovered they area a great coffee bar to do work or study with table space and outlets available. For my money, the nitro cold brew is awesome and will give you a good pick me up. The egg and pork arepas are awesome if you need an arepas recommendation. The management and staff are friendly and accommodating, eager to ensure you're happy with your order. There's a down-to-earth attitude to Salento that's very refreshing, making this coffee house very inviting to enter and enjoy the chill ambiance. There is table-and-chair seating, bar counter seating, and sofa lounge seating available, depending if you're there to so some work, meet for an appointment, a brainstorming session with business teammates, or just to chill out with friends. Salento has risen to the top of my last of favorite coffee houses to frequent. They are a winner. read more

This little Hispanic coffee shop in the Mandel Library 's east end has the best guava pastry in WPB If you have not eaten one you are missing out. The coffee con milk is perfect. It's a prefect example of a café from Colombia. I loved the atmosphere of this quaint coffee place. The owner made a espresso kind of a drink for me with some sugar. He explained the kind of sugar he was using. I just wanted a quick wake me up kind of drink. This drink totally helped me get all my work done and gave a lot energy throughout the day. They also have food options here. I didn't eat here since I just had a heavy lunch before visiting Salento. But next time. Side Note: Parking near by is metered or a parking garage a few blocks away.
