He had to leave to work out of the country but the Dr we have now is extraordinary and we love her so much. She has such a love and respect for children and it's truly amazing to watch. My daughter has never been afraid of her and you can tell that she trusts her to do her exams. My daughter has even talked about being a doctor because of her experience and how she wants to be just like her doctor. The front end staff have always been kind to me, as well as the doctors assistants. I've always been able to make a same day appointment as long as I called early enough. I think every health facility is gonna have professionals who excel at their jobs and some that are more burnt out or who don't have the same energy. This is just my experience with every health facility. I truly believe it has to do with luck and your own determination to find a doctor who fits your needs as negative as that may sound. But we love our doctor and we are grateful to have her care for our child. We feel extremely lucky.

I called her office because my husband was experiencing severe tooth pain and they advertised as having emergency service, but when I called, they told me they were closing at five, so they gave me the next appointment which was not until the following morning. The minute she walked into the room, without even greeting us, she looked into his mouth for about five seconds and said she couldn't do anything because he needed oral surgery. I replied that we couldn't afford it, and she answered "You'll have to." Then, without any suggestions or advice, even so much as prescribing a painkiller, she gave us a referral to an oral surgeon and walked out without even saying goodbye. The next day we went to the dental clinic at U.Conn, where a dentist diagnosed him with an infected tooth, prescribed an antibiotic, and we were told to come back in a few days for an extraction. Dr. Gramse is one of the coldest fish I have ever met. She is apathetic, discourteous, unprofessional, and, worst of all, downright negligent - as evidenced by her refusal to diagnose an obvious and treatable condition. I would not recommend her under any circumstance. You'd be better off tying your tooth to a doorknob and slamming the door. I would give her negative stars if it were possible.

The insurance rep will drag her feet and tell you everything can only be mailed to delay receipt of paperwork and keep you paying.

There were layers upon layers of dust on everything in the exam room. It looks like it's been untouched for years.
