Finding out just what we were buying was critical to our interest in the home . Kevin was easy to schedule as needed and spent quite a long time inspecting the home and all of its various electrical , plumbing , and mechanical components . Although there were no serious issues, there were a number of minor repairs and remedies we learned about which were provided to the sellers with Kevin's very complete and photo documented report to address prior to our closing . Without Kevin's inspection, not only would we have incurred the repair cost , but likely the undisclosed problems may have become greater in the future . I highly recommend N-Spec for any property inspection prior to its purchase , KHV

Leaking roof, my cost for subsequent damage, 10k Bar sink, not hooked up to plumbing, my cost $0, as it was just easier to just remove it. Oven not working, my cost $750 or so to repair Gas fireplace, not working. $100 so far, will need to replace for $600 or so. Avoid this outfit is my only suggestion.

House Tech Home Inspections

We were under contract…read moreand almost bought a nightmare house until he saved us from what would've been our worst financial mistake. He was able to schedule the inspection for the next day. We are first time buyers, and I asked about a million questions. No honestly like a million questions! Every time he stopped what he was doing and came right over to see what I was concerned about. He got to the property early (arriving at 1:40 was scheduled to be there at 2). Typically I guess home inspections should take 1-2 hours. HE WAS THERE FOR OVER 4 HOURS!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better inspector. He crawled under the house "which had less than 24" clearance" he found a leak that had rotted the floor, a roof leak, improperly installed metal roof, foundational issues, improper wiring, appliance issues, and even evidence of a possible small fire in the attic from a past furnace. I can't help but think what kind of mess we would be in if we didn't hire Aaron to inspect this house. PLEASE TAKE MY WORD FOR IT HE IS THE BEST OUT THERE!!!! You will not find a more thorough home inspector.

First of all he was punctual and respectful of our time. He showed a little early, which to me is a good thing, then he went to work with very little delay. He completed the inspection in about 90 minutes. He explained his findings and then told us we would have a report that evening. About 10:00 we received the report with a lot of photos and descriptions of all the fix items we needed to ask the seller to repair. He accepts any form of payment and we would definitely recommend him and his business!

We worked with them through the Strengthen Alabama Homes Grant Program and have no doubt we chose the right contractor to complete our new roof. Chase came out and walked us through the current issues we were facing and then described step by step what would be next if we chose to move forward with them. He was respectful and detail oriented with us and made sure we understood the full picture of what needed to be mitigated. Once we decided to move forward with them, we were on the schedule within a week and a half and the work itself was completed in a little over one day. The team that did the installation was courteous and respectful of our home, taking care of our property as if it was theirs. Checked the cameras and the tech had opened the gate to come in left it open while he sprayed. Don't have video of him leaving but the gate was in the exact position when I went outside as it was on the video. Our eight year old son had a meltdown thinking it was his fault that he didn't check the gate. Called to explain our issue and was told they would make a note in the system to close the gate from now on. Figured that was day one stuff that should be gone over with all employees entering people's property. Great service, but you might lose a dog. We cancelled our service.

On another note Robert the technician is extremely rude. His bedside manner is almost unbelievable. His tone and demeanor was overbearing.
