I set an appointment and brought the required paperwork. I arrived ahead of my appointment time and was greeted immediately. Since I was in the right office, they quickly got my prices started. I was assisted with the electronic filing and submission, then taken to another area for some follow up. The woman there was friendly and helpful as well. She took care of me right away, and for me out quickly. From the moment I got past the security gate, I was on site less than 20 minutes. Be sure to check your papers, set your appointment, and act respectfully. You won't have an issue at all. One of the more helpful government offices I've been to.

He manhandled and slammed our son on his face while handcuffed. He got mad because our son didn't recognize him as a cop and didn't understand what was happening or why he was being arrested; this officer was wearing a K9 uniform with a jacket and a cap, called him from behind from about a block away in the dark, didn't identify as an officer and had no RAS to detain him in the first place. A call from an incompetent new security guard from Regions Security Services that had been working in this condominium for just 4 days saying there were some kids walking around, that had told him they live here but he didn't believe them, is not RAS. It was a non-emergency call with no crime reported and all this officer saw when he got here was a young man walking, but proceeded to attack and arrest him within seconds of making contact with him. City of Doral and Doral PD have seen the videos and all the evidence of the wrongful arrest, the use of excessive force and all the lies, and as of today December 26,2023 they still haven't done anything about this abusive cop. We lived in The Courts at Doral for over 20 years, our son was just walking outside. Doral Police Department concluded their Internal Affairs Investigation and determined this was not excessive force. They said the officer just GUIDED / REDIRECTED our son to the ground... with those exact words. We used to back the blue, but you should know that if one of their officers wrongs you, they will not have your back. The service was excellent from start to finish -- everyone I interacted with was polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely committed to making the process smooth. The quality of the experience was great too. The instructions online matched what was needed in person, and when I made a small error on my form, the clerk helped me correct it on the spot. The efficiency score, though, takes a small hit. My appointment confirmation never came through by email, and because of that, no one was going to call me over the intercom. Luckily, someone came to get me personally within a minute of sitting down, which made up for it. Still, it shows the system isn't perfect. Lastly, the value of the experience gets four stars. One front-desk clerk got distracted when other customers interrupted us, which slowed things down a bit -- but he was courteous, and I appreciated his effort to get me taken care of once we got back on track. This young man was very kind, knowledgeable, patient, listened with the purpose of trying to help me in answering my questions as best he could and never spoke over me, or lead me in a direction that would have freed him up to end the call. In my opinion and knowing how hard any customer service job is whether you have a nice call or a call where the person on the other end is frustrated or rude. Damian helped explain how things work and broke down the difference of SSI & SSA per mail I received and showed not frustration. Thank you Damiah as I asked him how I could honor him by sending tjis post...he did not ask me to ...I insisted because as a former worker in the area of customer service it is difficult and many people do not HEAR with the purpose of helping and understanding the customer/patient and talk over you...Damian did not do this and I am grateful and wish him the best. Serving its residents and anyone who works in Doral, the Trolley works brilliantly. A city plagued by traffic problems specially during peak lunch and morning/evening hours. Being that there is not tight business district like in the Gables, the Trolley traverses the city from South to North and East to West, providing a very valuable service to Middle School and High School students and city commuters while in Doral during their business day. Improvements such as expanding the route to the metro station and including some of the more important parks throughout the route, can certainly add a larger group of riders, but, we'll gladly take what we've got... for now, and keep hoping for the expansion - soon !!! It is this kind of vision and leadership that leaves behind a legacy and makes a community a world class place to live and work.
