But now that I'm a new dog mom I've returned because they have a great selection of my dog's favorite treats and toys at incredible prices! Home Goods rocks! Whether you are going there for something specific or just walking in because you are in the area, you are bound to find something you just have to have. Often, many things! My entire condo is filled with a finds from Home Goods - modern rugs, huge pieces of art, lamps, bedding, pillows, outdoor furniture, dishes, serving pieces, throws, pillows, tables, mirrors, benches, faux succulents, vases, silk plants, candles and cookware. Then there's the holiday decor! Seriously, this store has it all and at prices that don't break the bank, yet the items look way more expensive than they are. People are always complimenting and are shocked when I tell them where it was purchased. Don't forget to check out the pantry items, they often have high end pasta sauces, a wonderful pasta assortment with many shapes hard to find in Portland grocery stores, lemon aioli and mustards from Stonewall Kitchen, Olive oil, flavored vinegars, pickled vegetables, gourmet chocolate sauces, candy, cookies and so much more! I'm a sucker for white serving pieces and dishes; they make any meal look Instagram worthy. Home Goods carries a lot of white ceramic from Portugal that you can mix in with whatever pieces you own. Like long rectangular serving platters that double as dishes when you are serving tacos; white angled bowls for those popular grain bowls; and the perfect sized pasta dishes. During the holidays, and that is every single holiday - Easter, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, St, Patrick's Day - they have everything to make your holiday spirit shine. Dish towels, bedding, pillows, throws, ornaments, dishes, candles, candy, placemats, table runners, towels, trolls, glass pumpkins, trees, cocktail napkins - the list goes on and on! I shop all of the Home Goods in the Portland area, stopping in different locations when I'm in the area. It's always worth going in because while all stores have similar items, they have slightly different inventory so you never know what you will find. Home Goods is a definite value add to Orenco Station! Customer service here is always friendly and helpful. Yes, the store is sometimes messy but that is because of the customers!!! One reviewer spoke about getting her purse stolen and that is horrible, a violation, but not the fault of Home Goods. How could they possibly predict that some random person walking in is seeking an opportunity to steal a purse. Seriously. This store is safe and it's a joy to shop there! read more

I adore Home Goods..flat out adore... When I am feeling uninspired OR inspired... When I need some ideas for the house... or the kitchen just needs that extra....extra. A friend gifted me these gorgeous candle holders sans the candles. Couldn't have found one anywhere else that all matched for less. I needed that perfect center piece for my table. They have great bedding, unique bathroom sets...great wall art...furniture... vases, crystal... The latest visit was to get blankets. I have a ridiculously comfy couch for movies and such. All the blankets covering it to cuddle with were just...done. Two different Home Goods locations (including this one) + $150 between the two and perfection was achieved. This is also such a great spot for your Halloween and Christmas decor as well as gifts. I love the uniqueness of their stock....seriously, I buy things here and NEVER see them anywhere else. read more

This just opened so there are some things to iron out. First of all its small but that will not change with time. There are tons of cute and useful items. Because it's small, they won't be able to have the selection and quantity I'm used to at the Home Goods by my house. When we were ready to check out, there was only 1 register open and there was a problem. There were plenty of sales staff on the floor restocking. Finally, assistance was called over the speaker so another register opened up. The sales staff was friendly and helpful and only a few customers in the store. When I used the restroom, there was no hand towels and the store just opened so maybe they don't clean and check it until later in the day. I mentioned it to a sales staff and she was very attentive. I'm sure things will be ironed out soon. read more

I recently discovered this store and have gone there at least twice a week for the last month, because it is flat out amazing! I love it, each time you go in there is so much new stuff that wasn't there before - and it sells out fast so if you find something you like, best bet is to buy it because it'll probably be gone if you wait. The customer service here is so unbelievably great, it's one of the main things I love about this store. I found a fairly large shelf/wall organizer that required a moving truck and they hooked me up with the service they use called Lugg. Lugg made transporting the item from Hillsboro to the Pearl District in downtown Portland very easy, and the price wasn't too bad either. The delivery guys came exactly when they said they would and they were very professional. Home Goods is like City Liquidators but for, yep, home goods. They seem to get random stuff from all over the world, it's one of those stores where you don't shop for specific items, instead you just browse and come across things you never even knew existed or never even knew you wanted but you end up leaving with them. I have found so many awesome things for my new condo here, and the prices are absolutely phenomenal. The prices are unbeatable, end of story. $200 can get you so much stuff here. I've purchased everything from dutch ovens to beautiful area rugs made of 100% wool to throw pillows, woodwick scented candles, a 36" Himalayan salt lamp, doggie bed, towel/bathroom set, art, a 6' ornate mirror, corner desk, even a 15lb bag of the softest gummy bears ever! This place is fun, I look forward to making the drive out there just to fulfill my shopping addiction. The value is superb and the quality of the goods is excellent. Staff at this location is the best, very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to answer any questions you may have, hold items for you, etc. I cannot say enough good things about this store, and I highly recommend it to just about anyone. This is such a cute store! My coworker mentioned that they have some amazing candles so I decided to check it out! The store is well organized and you can putchase all types of household items! While searching for candles I saw rugs, mirrors, cute mugs, lamps, and bedding among other things! I ended up purchasing two eucalyptus and aloe candles, and they smell so good! All the employees I interacted with were super friendly and professional! Even though there were a few people in front of me in line, I did not have to wait too long to be helped! This store is definitely worth checking out if you are in the vicinity! read more

While I used to love to buy things at HomeGoods in California, my experience in Hillsboro, OR store has not been satisfactorily. My purse was STOLEN in the store. The problem was poorly handled by HOMEGOODS even after I had the police there with me. They delayed releasing the information from the camera to the police officer, which made him very unhappy, and limited his action. Besides, it is extremely uncomfortable to shop in a store which is NOT a safe environment, and is not able to control the entrance and exit of people with bad intentions. While the products have reasonable quality and prices are good, be aware the way Homegoods respects and treats their customers when you need them the most. I have not been contacted by their company 's customer support:customer success team. Disturbing. I am sure I was not the one, and will be not the last. BE AWARE and avoid shopping there. Police is on it and will be able to catch the person sooner or later!! read more

Well, Homegoods is one of those places like Costco where you tell yourself "I just need one thing" and you walk out with $300 of stuff you didn't know you needed. Some of the aisles are a little messy but it appears to be from people rifling thru things and just throwing it back wherever it may land. The staff is friendly, and checkout was fairly expedient... By far the worst home goods in this area. The staff isn't friendly when doing return, even with a receipt. They make such a big deal out of nothing and super rude about it, and also asking where you originally bought it when it's basically the same store...I dread coming to this location. Floor staff is amazing with helping out with items but other than that, returning is a hassle here. Makes you feel like you've done something bad or lying about your purchase. My mother is an employee and knowing after she was an employee, she, Name starts with E, quickly became nice and friendly. Super pathetic and not that great customer service. read more
