These people are so sleazy my husband and I felt slimy after speaking with them over the phone. We had a buyer and the sale fell through due to the irresponsibility of their office not getting paperwork taken care of fast enough. We had issues and were trying to fire them even before this offer came through. The latest is that they will not hand the keys to our condo and the building over to our new agent. Our listing agreement is up and there is no reason that they need keys to access our building or home. It would take many pages to write all the grievences we have with this company and we will be filing an ethical complaint against them with the board of realtors, but for what you need to know if you are thinking about using them to sell your home: I asked several times that Pat Pettit have a brokers caravan or open house and she fought me all the way on it. She never did the brokers caravan and finally gave in to an open house after we started contacting the SDAR and a real estate attorney. She did nothing to advertise the open house and was extremely nasty about the whole thing, knowing that our neighbors had received an offer through an open house just three months prior. This and holding our keys hostage are the high points of why we recommend no one ever us ethem for anything, but there were many more issues. Dave Gillingham has threatened to sue me if I tell anyone about their treatment of us, but I feel no one else should go through what we have had to endure.
