I told him I needed someone to take me to doctor's and help clean house. He brought a nice woman named Susan to help me. He wanted to know the days and hours I needed her and I gave them to him. He didn't tell me she had to stay four hours and she had to call him immediately after leaving and she was required to report what happened here. Twice I told her to leave early because I was sick and needed to be alone. She reported this to Benjamin Sawyer and he took my hours and days away from me without my knowledge. I called telling him I was upset over this. He threw it up to me that they weren't a taxi service. I said I told you in the beginning what I needed and you went along with it. I texted him I was still upset that Susan gave him a bad report. He texted me he wanted no more messages about being upset. I called him this morning and his wife answered. I tried to tell her there was a communication problem. I told him I liked Susan who he sent to help me and said I hope you all pay her for her mileage and he told me that was no concern of mine. The last call he said, "No wonder you're by yourself, Susan isn't coming back." This was when I tied in with him calling him a few choice words. Don't call him for help is my advice.

She will contact you to replace the aide and will not keep you waiting for weeks to find a replacement. Mrs. Frazier is a very pleasant professional to work with.

They had to discharge me, because they wanted to give up on me, and also I have find another agency, wait another 2 weeks to start all over again. These people come from the Galactic Federation just like any other corrupted Galactic Federation owned agency. Also the owner of this company has a deep military background to set the record streight, forcing us to work for them, and not for us. I knew this wasn't going to last forever, because of the stress and pressure that the recent caregiver has given me, and trying to force me be discharged. I think discharging should be outlawed and never allowed especially where there are little or no new options out there. I just hate being thrown to the curve just like that, because I not not elite enough, not perfect enough to be part of their family. Just throw me into the woods and being forgotten. This is what I get and deserve, and why I cannot with the home care corruption. I am under too much stress, too much pressure, and they do deserve this negative review to be posted and shared with many others. I am getting tired of this, these people come from different worlds. They just want to be cruel to be kind, and it does not matter what you do for them, they want you to kiss their behind. This agency is not for everybody, and it's sure not for me. I don't recommend this agency and I sure did not recommend their transportation services. I should of never been assigned to them in the first place. Their Virginia Beach location offers clinic-based and home-based services through contracted, home-based Early Intervention (EI) services in partnership with local cities' Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia programs. -- TLDR -- The rating is an average of unacceptable admin services and excellent therapist services for a 2.5* rounding up. -- Services -- At this location, Aveanna provides pediatric services to include occupational, speech, and physical therapies. Aveanna has a team of hundreds of therapists who provide clinic-based outpatient and/or home-based Early Intervention (EI) services (specifically for children under 3), which is a parent-coaching model. -- Therapists -- Our experiences has been with the Early Intervention (EI) providers. They make a point to check-in at each session about how the child has been doing, what's working/not as far as the interventions, and model interventions based on what the family identifies as the main priority (which fits in with the overall service plan made with the family). The therapists also ask about other therapies that the child is receiving and generally try to compliment those. Sessions end with what with the parents would like to work on until the next session. The success of this model is really dependent on the parents carrying it out, but it also can be the most effective when therapies are incorporated throughout the day and week and not just for a session or two per week (like clinic-based appointments). I found their pediatric speech therapeutic services to be excellent and would highly recommend them! Their SLP was essential in helping us learn child-led strategies that reflected the approaches of Laura Mize. The SLP provided lots of individualized strategies that helped us build up imitation (gestures, sounds) to eventually build to speech. -- Office Admin -- Working with Aveanna's admin staff was a terrible experience. After following up over the course of a month which culminated in me having to call and speak to 5 different people in the same day, by the end of it, they still were unable to correctly account for what was going on. The staff did not know the services they offered, but worse than just not being able to provide information, they provided lots of misinformation that conflicted with what they had provided in prior weeks. They lost my child's initial files. Their incompetence let to a month's delay in connecting my child to services. I did not follow through on their clinic-based services (which had a 9 month waitlist at the time), and thank goodness, because they also provided inaccurate information regarding their services in relation to my insurance. -- Insurance Know-How -- Thankfully other providers are well-versed in insurance and what options were available to us, because this office not only delayed our ability to connect to services because they literally did not understand their own services they offered. In case it's helpful, if you likewise want to line up clinic and home-based early intervention (EI) services for speech, you either need EI to not bill your insurance or you need to use Aveanna as your clinic and EI service provider. Also note that if your child is under 3 and you have Optima, your only choices for clinic-based OT are Sentara or CHKD (not Aveanna). We were linked with Aveanna for EI services, which is the only form in which I would recommend working with them. -- Assessments -- Because we are using their EI services, the Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia program for our city arranges assessments and service coordination. If you go to Aveanna for clinic-based services, Aveanna would do initial assessments and goal setting with you. As mentioned above, I started this process with Aveanna and their clinic lost the information. -- Scheduling -- Since we are using their EI services, we schedule directly with each therapist for the next month's session dates. Therapists have always been prompt and keep their scheduled times. If you go to Aveanna for clinic-based services, Aveanna admin staff would work with you. -- Environment -- If you do home-based services, it helps to have a calm, quiet place to give updates, get info about techniques, and get the most out of the therapies. -- Conclusions -- Ultimately our particular therapist was a good fit for us using the Early Intervention home-based service model. Thankfully we have a service coordinator through Infant & Toddler. I was told by Infant & Toddler that Aveanna is their largest contractor employing pediatric therapists, so they often have someone to staff your child's case first and are able to accommodate the referrals. It's worth working with Infant & Toddler to contract a therapist there, but not directly.

We brought them in to help with Mom's comfort care in October after she'd been diagnosed with Bladder cancer at the age of 92. Suncrest provided so much assistance to my mom and our family. The staff was friendly, considerate, and caring. They gave my mom lots of laughs over her last months. I was with my mom almost every day as her health failed, and the comfort I got from their presence and support was immeasurable. In particular, nurse Christina, CNA Jayda, and social worker Judy were so wonderful. They, along with a phenomenal staff at Harbourway, allowed me and my family the ability to say farewell in a calm, loving environment. I would not hesitate to engage them again (and I hope that's a long way off...). Thank you all for making my mom comfortable in her last months.

When the time came, the hospice team provided coordinated care and expertise during the much needed transition to a residential care facility. The support and guidance by my father's RN at At-Heart truly helped in our time of need. The care and attention on a weekly basis attending to my father's needs were greatly appreciated. We appreciate the At-Heart Homecare and Hospice's staff's efforts to go the extra mile and address our family's concerns.

The easiest way to get in is from General Booth Blvd. southbound where Jose Tequillas is located, as there is no direct access from the road there. So, what brought me here in the first place. Achilles Tendonitis in the left foot. In April 2018, I was walking to get my lunch at work and I felt something pop with my left foot which didn't feel good. The ground is flat too. So, after seeing the specialist and finding out it was Achilles tendonitis, I was referred here for physical therapy to get this issue resolved. The good thing is that I started this process pretty quickly after it occurred, so it minimized the effects and length of time needed for physical therapy. When I called the office, I was surprised at how quickly they were able to get me in. I was there for my first visit and consultation just two days after seeing the specialist. My therapist for the duration of this issue was Crystal Barnes, who is also the clinic director. The first visit starts with a consultation to go over the issue at hand, take measurements, and the such. After that first visit, it would then be just working through the physical therapy process to get things back to normal. The physical therapy part of this adventure wasn't as easy as I thought at the beginning, but they do start you off slowly with the exercises and then eventually work you up higher as things improve, including adding additional activities. This part is normally done with their physical therapy assistants. Crustal also did some deep massage and dry needling as well. For both of those, you will really feel it and may hurt, especially on the first round, but it gets much easier after that. Over a few sessions, you will definitely tell the difference. I was going there two times a week for a little over two months. After a few months, the issue was finally resolved and no longer needed to continue the physical therapy. Fast forward a few months. I have no recurring issues with my foot at this point for the Achilles tendonitis. I am also still doing some of the exercises as done in physical therapy to this day to keep certain this issue doesn't come back later. The entire staff here is great to work with. The ones at the front desk always greet you with a smile and nice to have small conversation with when it isn't too busy at the time. Crystal has been great with my foot and the issue. If for some reason I do need physical therapy in the future, this will definitely be the place I come back to. If you need physical therapy, you need to check them out as well.
