I have a very special grandfather clock that my father made in 1978, and it recently stopped working. I called Gary, and he came to my house to fix it. He really knows his stuff - he quickly got it fixed and then took the time to give it a general maintenance to make sure it continues to work smoothly. Next time, I won't wait until it stops. A quality clock like that should be maintained on a regular basis - roughly every 3 years. I have plenty of battery-operated clocks, but nothing compares to the feeling of quality clockwork like a grandfather clock or a mantle clock.

Same company, same owners, and 30 miles later our ring went from being "a beautiful piece" to scrap. The ring was $4,000 when it was purchased. Staff was very friendly knowledgeable and a pleasant experience. I asked if the did knife sharpening which they do. I pulled out a Gerber knife that I had while deployed with to Iraq and Afghanistan. It was quite dull, but I keep it as a work knife. I asked if he could sharpen it and he took it to the workshop and came out in 5 minutes with a like new, if not better then new point.
