The corporations are such a pain - they want everything but your first born before even reaching a person for a quote, and then they try to sell their packages for $499+. Every single quote was $299 minimum, for a job which took 15 minutes. Mike, on the other hand, charged much less, and was completely knowledgeable about the entire process. They did the initial treatment on my (then new) home. They have proactively and voluntarily come out to do a thorough inspection every year except last. I have never had a problem, but they did find "one termite" near the house one year and actually treated the area as a precaution (no charge). Another time, they informed me of a deck post that had water damage that I was unaware of and repaired. I am sure their prices are a lot higher now, but I would surely inquire with them if I moved. At first, I was not quite sure if I wanted to add the pest control package but finally decided as I had a mouse problem in my garage and ants in the house. I'm so glad I bought both packages. Since the Healthy Home Pest technicians have been coming I have not been bitten by a mosquito (it is mid summer now) even though I work in my garden every day and cook out frequently. For the pest control package, I could not believe how many times I've called them. I had problems ranging from ants to carpenter bees to a wasp nest. Each time I've called, they've arrived the same day or the next day to fix the problem. I'm so glad I have their service for my house. I'll definitely renew our contract next year.

We had an active termite infestation, they came out and analyzed it and then called Interstate Repair Services, they gave us an estimate of $1500.00 worth of damage. That did not even cover the insulation that had to be replaced. Look elsewhere for a reputable Pest company that honors its warranties. I had found the original warranty from 2000 and it states that with an active termite infestation they will pay the damages. I can attest they will not, you will be left doing the repair work and paying for it. I contemplated legal action, but at this point, it is not worth it, I have dealt with chain companies, and they are very good at hiding behind franchises. I will make it a point to let everyone know, this is how they treat customers.

What I got in return was a notice from a debt collection company, which of course hurt my credit rating, and the time and bother it took to call American Pest and find out that someone had entered the bill for the next to last visit twice, effectively cancelling my payment for it and triggering the debt collection letter. It's extremely frustrating to pay $500 for an incomplete service that only took the technician 40 minutes and did not get the job done. Subsequently, I persistently called, left voicemails and emailed for 2 weeks letting them know of my issue and they kept giving me the run around. It's unfortunate because they were so quick to get me scheduled to take my money but when I told them they obviously didn't do the job I paid for, they have been completely ghost. Because of the nature of the situation and the health hazard, I had to call another company to fix the faulty job they did. The new company is excellent, great customer service and I will recommend them to everyone with any similar issues as well as my HOA because we have wildlife issues is my neighborhood quite often. Companies like Jesse James do not care about customers... customers who work hard NOT to throw away money! I do not write reviews often so when I do it's because I value my dollar and do not want others taking advantage. Sadly, I was referred to Jesse James by another company who could not get to me sooner so I'll have to also let them know about my experience so others do not have my same fate! And do not lie and say you were not given access to the interior of the house (like you did in your response to me on Google). If you would've called me back or responded to my emails - had a conversion about any of this you would have heard the truth. Review our invoice that states exactly what we said no to - upcharges your technician tried to sell us for exterior gates around the vents. This is exactly why your customer service is horrible. You as the owner weren't even respectful enough to respond and let me know hey this is what my technician told me but what actually happened? Again, absolutely horrible - all around hands down despicable service and an even more terrible leader who would rather hide behind a computer and lie on the internet than face the truth!
