Other everyday items that I purchase: plastic table covers, tin pans, china bowls, wrapping paper, shampoo, air freshers, body wash, hand soap, buckets, confetti, balloons, sternos, lotto tickets, etc. The list goes on but there's a ton of funny crap in here.

Otherwise you're better off going to Target or 5 below for better prices, better quality, and a cleaner store.

Like all 99 Cent stores in NYC, this place looks as if it's been around for a long time. The signage is consistent with all the other 99 cent spots and the lack of ventilation (stale air) gives this place the proper feel that all locals will recognize from nostalgia alone. Service isn't the fastest, but I would assume no one comes here for this. What I do come here for is the random finds that this place tends to have and others don't. Usually I go in with a mission: find a charging cable, a temporary household good, or something I knew that wouldn't last me long and was good for the pinch. I usually end up walking out of here with a few more items than I anticipated for. That's the mark of a good store, me thinks.

Price tag is part of a trio of stores that sells off price boutique closeouts. The other two are Barney's bargain stores in Hillside and Bloomfield. They didn't call the Bayonne location Barney's because there was already another store called Barney's up on Avenue C. That store closed many years ago. Price tag and the other two locations have a rotating series of stock. Some weeks they have women's, some week they have men's, and sometimes they have Children's. You can get very expensive shoes and clothing at a discount.$200 SAS shoes? You can get them for $50 or less. They have lots of different brands and things change all the time. Sometimes, though, they get things that don't move very quickly. Today I saw some hilarious socks that were for New years 2000. Call them New vintage, I'm sure someone will pick them up. You can always count on Price tag when you need an evening bag, shoes, or a wallet. They tend to get a lot of those items. They are only open Thursday through Sunday. Some of the people who work there seem very disinterested, but the two Natalies who work on Sunday are the nicest. Check it out, you never know what you will find.

You wouldn't know it was there if you hadn't heard about it. The clothes inside are very well curated. They don't sell things like Old Navy or Cat & Jack. All the clothes are mid range to high end with everything from Zara to Gucci. All the clothes are like new or slightly worn - no stains or signs of heavy wear. Prices are reasonable and they seem to filter through a lot of clothes. I came two weeks back to back (to make a return and drop off some shoes) and I saw mostly new items I hadn't seen previously. If you have kids and enjoy a thrift this is the place for you!
