I've been a customer for 30 yrs for fuel, ice and bait. I also kept my 37 ft Cat in a wet slip back around 2009 for a few years. I think they do a great job of hiring the best people and keeping them which says a lot! Always met with a wonderful smile and any assistance I needed. We have had our slip since beg of August on D dock and it has been great. At first we were nervous to dock it between the wooden poles but there really isn't any current so it wasn't as bad as it looks. Ive been a customer since 2014. Ive received best in class service from every single employee Ive met. Its well run, well stocked, and well kept. The boat yard is well secured, and we have never had a single issue with anyone messing with our boat. The other boaters are helpful when I forget something and always friendly. After a great day on the water, we clean it up, and head over to Ozona Blue for great food and equally friendly staff. This is the place to store your boat if you can get on waiting list! read more

Recently visited this marina with some friends for a Sunday Funday boating excursion and our boat owner had a membership. The staff was super friendly and the marina itself is impressive. I have never seen a boat being taken off of a slip and transported into the water with a forklift before so that was pretty neat! The marina has bathrooms (learned this after coming back later) and a well stocked convenience store that had beer and snacks. My only woe is the location which is kind of a more rural side of Dunedin and amongst other marinas, making it a little hard to find. Other than that, great place to keep your boat! read more

I'm a 21 year customer of the place. From day one they make their customers priority one and run a pretty good shop. They are competitively priced for the slips they provide both in and out of the water and the services they have available when you get back to the dock If you know what your doing with your boat and how to handle it around others this is the place to be I would have given a fifth star if they could do a better job keeping the docks cleaner for weekend use Seagulls and diesel grime tend to build up by Friday and should be cleaned for the weekend boaters Mgmt is very approachable and help with any marina issues that may arise which includes repairs of any damages created or caused by the lifts or docks Try getting that help at other marinas in the area....you won't . Security is also very good since they deploy both live and electronic security measures read more

We just started storing our boat at Home Port and we couldn't be happier. The service is very prompt and efficient even during busy times. The dock hands and forklift driver are great! Plenty of parking. Plenty of racks and hose for cleaning when they pull out the boat. Right on the intracoastal so it's quick to get out into the channel and on the way to the days destination. read more

Unless you're a regular who comes once a month they don't think you're important here. This place owns a monopoly in the area being the largest marina. The dock hands regularly complain to customers about pay. The marina closes at 7 on the weekends on two separate occasions I had to leave our boat at the courtesy dock because they closed, both times the boat was clearly used, missing gas, battery dead. Not cool...Morale as a whole is terrible with all employees except for the cashiers who put on a good face. Myself and 2 other friends were kicked out when complaining about nominal issues. They could care less about your business. The marina is owned by an investor who has a horrible property management company. The property management company is almost hands off and lets the dock master do whatever he wants. Including treating customers and employees unfairly. He sits in his office all day in the ac yelling obscenities at the workers via radio while he's watching them on a camera. I feel bad for the employees. Stay away from this place it's toxic. read more

My wife and I have had our boat(s) stored at Home Port Marina for almost 3 years now. From day one, we were warmly welcomed and taken care of immediately. The facility has everything we need and the employees are helpful and friendly. There are more affordable marinas in the area to store our boat, but the staff and cleanliness of the marina is what makes the difference.
