And from the staff to the dock hands, to the quality of the vessel and cleanliness of the shop: 10/10. A guide handed us a laminated map (nice touch) and told us where to head for manatee sightings. It's a small launch area where you can leave your shoes. We were given a suggested route to paddle over to Cypress Point Park to rest on the beach. No guidance on where to head out, just made sure I knew what I was doing, gave me a life preserver and sent me on my way. There's no dry bag so you have to either bring your own or leave your stuff with them, which I didn't know in advance. The launch area is easy enough, but then basically you're paddling out into the bay, which a lot of it was really shallow when I was there. If you're looking for just some straight up paddleboard exercise, then this is fine. If you're hoping to see a bunch of manatees and other wildlife, I would suggest elsewhere.
