A home inspection that came in late required us to put in handrails on two stairways. We are new to the community and could find no one. Darrell gave me a quote and came and did the work. His work was solid. He was professional and done quickly. My husband and I were so grateful! Because the work had been so good on the handrails, we talked to him about a couple of other odd jobs and our new home he installed a pantry, medicine cabinet, and was honest with us about the fact we would not be able to install a garbage disposal. In addition he did a few other odd jobs while he was here. His work is always top-notch, he is pleasant to deal with, and we have been more than satisfied. I would say that you get what you pay for. His work isn't cheap, but his quality is outstanding and he is very good to work with. We are in the process of having him come back and do more work. He is helping us make our house a home!

I cancelled day before. What he doesn't tell you is that his "percentage" for cancelling is the entire down payment you gave him. I join the others on here that he is a "rip off". He wanted to "keep" our house key? THAT is where I threatened to get attny. He finally dropped off. We were moving- didn't have time for his games. I think ONE star is too much for him.

Four out of five guys quit the first week - we got warnings from the guys that he wasn't paying them ... the crew had worked for Rich up to only 2 weeks to 3 months. Terrible Terrible work and no ability to finish OR fix problems along the way. Worst was electric because of the danger they were putting us in by not being able to figure out what they were doing. He kept putting us off - oh we'll fix that later. He was working on only small kitchen and extended 1 1/2 week project (his projection) to 4 weeks, by then he had the guys pull all their equipment and when he came by for "another pull," (he was excellent in "pulling money" - the only reason he'd stop by), we said not until something was finished, so he left and sent us a mechanics lien warning. That's when we gave it to the attorney with an 86 page document of all the problems in pictures and comments. We're still waiting to find out what happened. Oct/Nov 2016 Ann G.

It took a week from the date of my claim to get an appointment for someone to come to my home. Once they came, one of the first things the technician wanted to discuss was the service fee and how it would be paid. He spent maybe five minutes at my home "diagnosing" the problem before he left stating he would send in his report and await approval. From previous claims I knew that could take anywhere from 15-60 minutes. But with this company they come out, assess and then you have to schedule another appointment for the work to be completed. I spent the next five weeks calling between them and the home warranty company at minimum twice a week trying to get the work done. I finally got the home warranty company to reassign the claim only to get an email telling me that it was assigned to Primary Maintenance LLC again. When I called back and told them I didn't want to work with them, they ended up denying my claim. I put in an appeal and finally got some information and help. Per the case manager Primary Maintenance LLC submitted notes as if they had been to my home on 3 separate occasions and each subsequent time they needed to do more work than the original report said was needed. Some of the work they claimed to need to do is physically impossible the way my house is designed. Primary Maintenance LLC only came to my house one time, the time they collected the service fee. Per the case manager they claimed to come out a week after the original service call (a lie, they did not). The reason the claim was given back to them when I asked to work with another company was because they called back and asked that it be reassigned to them because they were on their way to my house (another lie, they did not come). The last "ghost visit" they submitted a request for nearly $500 worth of customization that needed to be done that I would be responsible for. I refused, so the home warranty denied the claim. Again after my appeal of the denial I was reassigned another company who came out assessed and completed the job in one visit in about two hours. PM has two phone numbers. They rarely answer the number listed on the website. The young lady that answers the "scheduling" line doesn't have any answers that will help, but at least she answers the phone. At one point during the back and forth phone calls the young lady asked if I wanted to just pay to get the job done on my own and she would see if her boss would give me a discount.
