I did not talk to my neigbour but I decided to call them and it was the right call. Appointment and initial service : 5 Stars Initial appointment was easy and quick. The initial call to Chuck was helpful and easy. He came out and look at my deck and gave me an estimates promtply. Time of work : 5 Stars The estimated a day to 1 day for the work to be completed the crew came out and was delayed a couple of times due to weather. Quality of work: 4 Stars They took care of the deck just as they quoted. Quality of work overall is good but there were stain on a small part of the wall. While this is expected but if part of the wall were not stained this will be a 5 star rating. Pricing: 4 Stars I do believe they are at the reasonable end of the cost structure. The pricing seems honest and fair. Our journey started with the first appointment to get a quote. It was a Friday afternoon, the…read moresalesman called at the time of the appointment to say his car broke down, and couldn't make it. Okay, we rescheduled a few weeks later. My husband took work off early, and again no appointment. He was a no call/no show. The third time he did show up, and we signed to have the fence installed. We got an install date, again, my husband wanted to be home, so he took the day off of work. The entire install team was a no call/no show. So, they said they would be there the next day for install. Same thing!!! Stayed home from work, and no call/no show. After many calls to Revamp we finally got a reason, they said they don't have the permit from the village we live in. Okay, makes sense. Now we reschedule again for a Wednesday, they do show up! Hooray! A crew of 8 guys tore the old fence down in about an hour. Then, they got stopped. Although the village gave them a permit, the village put a stop to install because they have never seen this kind of pole installation. Okay, I'm still fine with this, it does make sense. The installers said they would be back tomorrow, (Wednesday), or Friday at the latest. They leave, withe my new fence. There are metal poles scattered all throughout my yard, killing my grass. I found 2 large blades from one of the cutting tools. (I have dogs and kids) And, this is great, we saw one of the installers urinating in the middle of my back yard!! Also, an installer stepped on my neighbors Hydrangeas, smashing them! The men actually laughed at this, while it was happening! Now, fast forward to calling the office to try to get an install date. Shawna, oh Shawna, does not know how to communicate very well. I cannot even tell you how many times she did not return our phone calls. July 3 is the date they tore our old fence down. Miss Shawna finally calls back, and tells us July 12 is the soonest they can come. She says all her install teams are booked up. We did argue that we need this fence done asap. We wanted an install team pulled from another job and she refused. I asked for her manager, Nathan, and was told he would call me back. He did, he wouldn't budge. He did say he could pull a team from Freeport for install date of July 10. We have no choice but to wait. My yard, my fence touches 6 yards. So now all these families have animals, kids, and some pools, are going without a fence for a full week. For what should have been a one day job. The communication was absolutely horrible! That is why I would never recommend this company. The fence is beautiful, but all the havoc they put us through for a very expensive fence, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We have a very large raised 3 story trex deck with rotting cedar railings. Called numerous companies for a railing replacement and the majority would only consider new deck replacement and were not interested, even though this was a big job. We were replacing the cedar with aluminum railings. Dan came by numerous times over a period of months during the planning stages to get us exactly what we wanted for a fair price. He secured samples, talked about the options, was prompt, professional and helpful in all ways. He was quite busy and at one point we assumed that the job wouldn't be done until the early spring. We were fine with that as we didn't need the use of the deck during the winter. Low and behold, here comes Dan and Bill in December ready to start. Permits were secured and no matter the weather those guys were out there working. Before long the rotten cedar railing was replaced with aluminum and look absolutely wonderful. In the end, I decided to go with Archwood for my project and I'm so glad I did. Unlike most other contractors who over quote and rush through the job to maximize profits, Jeff will take whatever time is needed to do the job right...period.
