Now, I'd just had some bad things happen in my life and was looking for something that might bring me some joy, so I ordered the strip even though it was a little pricey, and I didn't know much about the place. My brother in Christ, let me tell you, that was the most gloriously delicious steak I've ever eaten. Cooked perfectly. Buttery. An almost crackling crust. Seasoned well but not overwhelming. My wife's noodles were also fantastic, but that steak was out of this world. She made me trade once she tasted it. We finished with a really nice, not too sweet chocolate mousse. They nailed all of it. I'm as shocked as anyone to tell you that this was the best restaurant meal I've ever had, and I don't like anything.

This place commits to sourcing almost everything they have locally and they make a lot of their own base ingredients including every sauce they serve. The Ruby Brink is particularly well suited as a good bar that still has restaurant class food, especially if you just go out with your adult friends and not necessarily your family of five. Different restaurants are tiered to different clientele and I especially appreciate that they serve their target audience: adults looking for a damn good meal, super well! Their menu is prepared every single day depending on what's available at the time. Don't be surprised if you see different dishes on it from just going there a week previous. In my opinion this keeps it fun although they still make sure to keep their classic favorites around. Definitely five out of five stars for me

The setup is very relaxed in the best way: you grab your own table, get your own water, and settle into their beautiful outdoor seating area. It feels laid-back but still really well put together, and they even have high chairs available, which made it super easy for us to come with our toddler. We went on Mother's Day, so it was definitely busy, but even with the crowd our food came out surprisingly quickly. I ordered the Hot Mario pizza with added arugula, and it was incredible--perfect balance of spice, fresh greens, and that wood-fired crust. My fiancé got the Americana, and it was just as good in a more classic, simple way. The pepperoni quality really stood out too--super flavorful, not greasy, and you can tell they use good ingredients. We also had our toddler with us, and he absolutely loved it too, which honestly says everything. If he's happy eating it, it's a win. Overall, this place has become an easy favorite for us. Great food, great atmosphere, and very family-friendly. We'll definitely be back.

And I liked that you pay up front and can self-service on napkins, to-go boxes, etc. Food was very good as well. We got a pizza & pasta and both were lovely. I will note our pasta could have been a tad softer, but I'm figure it's a one-off. Will definitely return!

The cocktails all seem to be named after nautical terms, likely a nod to their island locale. I got the Buoy, which was a tequila-based cocktail with blackberry, Campari, and rosemary. It was quite refreshing. We split the smoked salmon chips and dip, because we both love smoked salmon and Old Bay. This was tasty, but I think a cream cheese dip requires a chip that's sturdier than a potato chip. I ordered the seared ahi and my spouse ordered the burger. We both enjoyed the seared ahi, though I wish it had more of the whipped tahini and harissa. We agreed that the burger was solid, but not the best restaurant burger we've had. We finished with the key lime pie and pot de crème. Recommend both (though maybe avoid the pot de crème if you don't like coffee)!

From the moment we walked in (party of 4) on 6/14 Sunday at noon, there were one male and one female hosts.  The male host was friendly, greeted us with warm smiles. On the other hand, the blonde female host gave us dirty looks, not saying a word and acting as if she wanted us to leave.  She even turned her back on us while we were trying to ask her questions about menu.  A restaurant's hospitality starts at the front door, and unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression before we were even seated. At that, the experience there was ruined from the moment we came in because of this one female host and the whole experience was a total disaster. The fact she was an employee there says a lot of this restaurant. DO BETTER, THAT HOST AND THE RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES AND HIRE THE RIGHT PEOPLE!

We came by after happy hour at Anthony's and listened to a live set of great music. The place was packed, but everyone is friendly and was willing to share their table with us. We had a great time and I strongly recommend coming by the Quarterdeck to chill and listen to live music. Can't believe it took me 20 years of living in Seattle to find this place. So, don't repeat my mistake.

Quarterdeck is what I like to call a "come for the vibes, stay for the drinks, eat... somewhere…read moreelse" kind of place. I stopped by while visiting Seattle and while the food situation was a bit chaotic (they had rotating menus because they were out of a few items), I ended up ordering a kimchi-inspired sandwich that I wanted to love...but it just didn't do it for me. Not inedible, maybe a 2/5, but I'd definitely try something else next time. My friend ordered what I think was the Garden Harvest Wrap (a staple on the menu), and that was more of a 3/5. Both dishes were served cold (intentionally), which I think made a difference, I could totally see them being much better if they were warm. Now let's talk about what is worth it: the mimosa flight. SO good. Like dangerously easy to sit there, sip through all of them, and forget any minor food disappointments. But honestly, the real star here is the ambiance. You're right on the water with the most effortless, breezy, coastal energy. Boats drifting by, sun hitting just right, people lingering over drinks--it's giving main character energy in the best way. I found myself wanting to stay way longer than planned and even doing some work while there. This is absolutely a spot I'd come back to, just with a strategy: eat before or after, and come here to sip, sit by the water, and take a little walk on the dock. 5 stars for the vibes alone
