We've been going to the Garage Bar & Grill for years people are nice. Food is excellent.

My daughter has been telling me about The Garage for the last few years. We annually go to an art show in Bremerton so what more of an excuse did I need to try this. She had a bloody mary that had enough meat in it to give a cardiologist a wet dream. It was huge! I had eggs benny with hash browns, Quite tasty. For bar food, I did not expect the hollandaise to be so good as this. Our server was friendly and a good help to my daughter in selecting from the many bloody mary drink options. Restrooms were clean (an indicator to me how the establishment is run). I can see this would be a fun place to hang out of I lived in the area. read more

The waitress was so cold and never stopped back except with a check. Our glasses sat empty for a half hour and it wasnt That busy. The Bloody Mary was supposed to be a double shot but it wasnt even a single. And I asked for the vodka on the side. NOPE! That would be too hard for them. The only reason 2 stars was the band "Undecided" with Tammy Frost was good. I won't be back anytime soon! read more

Had a yummy breakfast at the garage bar and Grill. We ordered coffee and a Bloody Mary. We spilt the eggs Benedict with ham. Splitting it was perfect. Our server was nice, friendly, and very helpful. It was a football Sunday, and the Seahawks were playing, so definitely loud. read more

This place is primarily a Bar but they are also known as a solid place for breakfast. The place has an auto garage themed decor, which is done well. The food was generously served and very good. For a bar this place has phenomenal food burgers, bloody Mary's. Whatever you want fish and chips. Awesome We love this place

It was some time ago, I am bitter and upset how the bartender treated my 73 year old mother and I. I was So excited to bring mom here as she's heard much about the place from people in Kitsap and these photos I posted. The tall blonde bartender was a total a*h to us. The place was full and upon entrance we were gestured and told to sit anywhere. My mother has a bad knee/hip and couldn't sit on stool tables in the back for long, so ok, we went to an open table that had one single glass on it; As a previous server and bartender for 15 years I know you don't sit at an unclean table. We aren't talking about dishes and plates....one...single.. glass. No crumbs, no mess.... Completely acceptable. This woman yells across the entire restaurant from the bar "NO!!!! No!!" .....my god, could have just walked up talked with us. Relax lady. We were moved to a stool table and after we were redirected to another spot, a party of 4 (that they clearly knew) was immediately sat there. We left. It was ridiculous the way they behaved. She was either jaded or new to the industry, either way, people go out to eat, drink, and tip generously; Will never be back. Could have been a fun day. (I know you all working there are going to laugh, I get it a bit, but it F*ng sucked as we each take 2hrs to travel and see each other; just don't be a jerk to people and sit your friends.) read more

Gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because it took about 50min to get food. Even getting coffee was a challenge. Took her three trips to get creamer. Granted they were very busy and she seemed like she'd rather be having a root canal than working. Almost oblivious to what was needed. Food was outstanding. I had standard egg breakfast but added the candied bacon. Yum nice touch. Food seemed very fresh. Ambience was nice even though it was a tavern. Bathroom very clean. Surprising for a bar. The place is large with plenty of parking. No kids though! Watched a couple leave due to having children in tow. I would go again despite the lack of good service. Might have been just a bad day and maybe short staffed like almost everywhere nowadays. I think it's a do just for the food. read more

Staff is friendly and polite and works super hard. Especially on a busy weekend. They do a really good job in the kitchen trying to keep food times down with how busy they get. The food always comes out hot and very large portions my mom ordered the chicken friend steak it was huge she took over half of it home for breakfast the next day. You could easily share an entree between two people and by husband and I typically do to be honest. Not breakfast related but in Fridays they do prime rib special 30 dollars ( it's massive). Salad, prime rib cooked how you like, the vegetable, typically mashed potatoes but you can get a baked potato on request. If you live a good prime rib dinner this is where you want to go for best bang for your buck. Ambiance is classic bar lots of tables, pretty open before a lot of the younger people come in to drink on a Friday/saturday night. read more

Menu is extensive and the bar is famous for Bloody Mary drink. Check out the "B M's" Don't go overboard on the menu items if you order the BMs. They can be a meal on their own. The food portion is ginormous and very tasty. The most amount of ciders on draft I've ever seen and great tasting. That's including the flight I got. And don't get me started on the bloody Mary's. Came in for brunch and was not disappointed. Eggs cooked to perfection, thick and sweet french toast plus perfectly crunch bacon. Biscuit and gravy combo was "top notch". My friend rated them 10/10 and whenever I'm in Bremerton I always make a stop Great toppings on top and great for photos and a memorable time, but expect bar food on top I would make even suggest making a seasonal bloody to mix it up I would rate the service a lot lower, our waitress truly ruined our mood she was all over the place making everything so dramatic even though it was the least busy I've seen the place, she threw out so many rules and regulations in such again a dramatic way, it was to a point I asked my boyfriend to just order my food so I didn't have to converse with her. The service at this restaurant is terrible. We recently went for a brunch. The waitress took our order and that was the last time we saw her. The food was delivered by another staff member after a 45 minute wait. Our waitress never came by to check on us after food came. We had to flag her down 2 times to ask for check. Showed up because of good reviews, so thought we'd check it out. It's a pretty Large bar with tons of seating and tables. Prompt, friendly service and a really large menu. The portions are enormous and a "normal"person could probably split a meal if they wanted to, safely. That makes the prices a very good value. Gets a large crowd for games and live music. Finally made it out today with fam and friends. The pictures do not lie. Hubby got a Surf and Turf. Hefty serving of pickled veggies, steak, shrimp, and a slider sandwich with a tasty Bloody Mary for $24.00. A friend got the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast (all three plates of it), and said it was awesome. Our party also had some Classic Bloody Mary's, Biscuits-and Gravy, and fried pickles. All were great! It was very busy, and the food took a long time to come out, but the staff was helpful. Will definitely be back to try more of the appetizers! read more

Holy sh*t!!!! Best Bloody Mary I've ever had. Good thing friends came with us. I would have ordered breakfast and a Bloody Mary. Friends told me to slow my roll. I took their advice and ordered a spicy bloody. The bloddy Mary itself had just the right amount of alcohol. Enough so you could just taste it. I asked for extra hot. Mine was spicy enough to sting and build as you drank more but not enough to ask for milk. The garnishes were mind boggling, with a slider, shrimp, cocktail sauce, dill pickle, cocktail onions, tomatoes, 3 different olives, 2 candied bacons, cheddar cheese, pickled asparagus, celery, slab of salami, and pickled green beans. There may be 1 or 2 more things but I'm pleasantly tipsy. I will have to admit I had a B52 shot I did NOT pay attention to what my 3 friends ate because I was too busy playing with my food! Wait staff was a bit slow. Hubby had to get up to get coffee and had to wave down to take his card. They were also friendly and polite. That said, they still earn 5 stars! The service is exceptionally friendly and professional. What really makes this place stand out are the very convenient long hours (6am to 2pm) and the portions.
