The Manchester Pub! After closing down for awhile, the new owners, Fox and Becky, have turned this small pub into a masterpiece. It has a great nautical theme, pool tables, clean bathrooms, music, open mic night, great beer and drinks, and an outdoor seating area for smoking and drinking (with a heater). What more can you ask for? The people are friendly, the staff is great, and the place is registered as a Biker Bar. This is a great place to relax, play some pool, and get your party on. Right in Manchester, walk out the door and you can see Seattle across the water. Just a short walk to the boat launch and park, get a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline. The only downside to this bar is the menu. Its great if you just want a quick snack before you start drinking, but if you are looking for a full meal, you may want to stop somewhere first. But the Family Inn is right next door and they have great food.

    Local! Awesome!

Manchester Pub offers a fantastic beer selection! For others like me who have gluten intolerance, they have Stella Artois Cidre on tap, omission pale ale and coors peak!! I just moved here from Utah, and I am thrilled to find a neighborhood bar like this one. Fresh seafood from Oregon on Sundays, free pool everyday, and great specials on liquor and micro brews! Kerri Lou sold us on the fresh fish, and it was delicious. Thus far the staff has proven to be friendly and efficient! Awesome local crowd! I will continue to frequent this bar!

After moving here from San Jose life has been pretty mundane until May 21st. I'm blown away at what a Great time I had when a lifelong friend Glenn guitarist for his band "The Drive" invited me along to his gig at the Manchester Pub. The first person we were graciously greeted by was a Bartender named Shari(hopefully correct spelling). She really set the tone as far as how the rest of my evening went. The service was impeccable, and I could tell she truly loves her job. She never really walked, but danced her way around as she attentively catered to all of the guests needs. I have been here since January and can honestly say this was the first time I can say I had a great time. I haven't danced in over 20 years, and last night I danced and probably looked like an idiot doing so, but didn't seem to care! Great people, great music, great crowd,GREAT TIME!!! Jeff S.

Cool place with a killer view. Lots of smokers on the outside covered patio though. Aren't there guidelines about where people can smoke?

Great little pub to kick back and relax and get away from the young crowd who are all getting overly drunk at the other bars. Love this pub

Entrance is down a short alleyway and up a set of stairs in the back. Tizley's sits on the main drag downtown and didn't appear to have a view of the water per se, but the (limited) balcony dinning sits right over all the action going on down on the street...which seemed cool, though my wife and I elected to sit indoors on this day. Inside is very nicely decorated in a Austro-Bavarian tavern/pub style. Pretty cool and this was exactly what my wife and I wanted when we decided on eating lunch here. FB marketplace brought us to town for the day and Yelp brought us to Tizley's. Service - we hit Tizley's right at high noon and they were pretty busy. Despite this, we were seated within ten minutes - a nice surprise as the hostess (and possibly owner/manager??) initially cited us a 20-minute wait. Our waiter was prompt, friendly, and very efficient throughout our entire meal. He checked in on us frequently and ensured we were enjoying our meal. Food - I had the Wiener schnitzel and my wife had the Jägerschnitzel - both of us had mash and spaetzle as our sides. Both of us enjoyed our schnitzels - in my case, I was truly happy their Wiener schnizle was in fact a veal cutlet and not pork... which I've found to be a common substitute here in the PNW. Beer menu was robust and had an emphasis on German-styled beers! We will definitely be back!

I made a reservation for our party just in case as it was a Saturday night. The restaurant is actually located upstairs and access is gained by walking along the side of the building down a small alley. Thankfully another reviewer mentioned this. Many German dishes were on the menu. My group opted we share a large pretzel as an appetizer. Totally a wonderful home made pretzel served with bier cheese and two different types of mustards. I ordered the jaegerschnitzel with German potato salad. The schnitzel had a wonder flavor and it was covered in a mushroom gravy. I was so impressed with the potato salad. It was a flavorful pair to the schnitzel. This meal felt like someone's grandma made it. Everything was made from scratch and you could taste it in every bite.

We finished everything on our plate. I ordered the combo plate portions were on the smaller side, but still filling. The brisket was a bit on the dry side, though the ends were nice and juicy. It could've used a little more sauce; what came with it was pretty minimal. The baked beans were solid, and the cornbread would've been better with some honey butter or something similar. The homemade root beer tasted good, but the system probably needs a cleaning you can tell there's some buildup in the lines. Overall, we didn't go there for the pub atmosphere we went for the food. We were hungry and wanted barbecue, and we still ate everything. Decently priced with friendly service.

The brisket stuffed quesadilla and the Texas chili I had with a cornbread muffin and 2 full to the brim pints was less than fifty bucks after tip. Outstanding. You could taste every flavor perfectly, and the freshness of it all was great. Our server was amazing, providing us with fast and caring service despite waiting on two main rooms. The pub ambience is a great retreat from a rainy day. Though I do wish they'd get rid of the piss trough and instead do sectioned off urinals but that's just me. Fully recommend.
