Outdoor seating provides great views of the bay. Seattle across the way. The city of Manchester is a quaint little town along the water. Typical pub fare. The owners are friendly and honest with their food choices. Next door is a grill currently open Wednesday through the weekend. I heard their Ruebens are to live for. We had the hot dogs. Mine the Chicago Dog and Charlie with the Captain Dog. Both were excellent. Sport peppers on both dogs are yummy. Pay with cash and save on the service fees. read more

Too bad the Sunday afternoon bartender doesn't know what she's doing. She's slow (no it wasn't busy at 3:30-3:40) & she did everything I asked her NOT to - including adding Tobasco to my Bloody Mary. The only reason they got 1 star instead of zero is the lady working the entire place by herself was trying really hard , but we waited over an hour for hot dogs and wings and didn't set any other service, we even went up to the bar to get our second round of drinks !! They kept saying we are a bar Not a restaurant.... Well then don't serve food !! And if your a Bar why did NO ONE come to see if we needed more drinks ??? We will NOT be back .... And mainly because they allow people to smoke on the patio area, instead of walking out the front door where other patrons might not want to smell cigarettes while eating or drinking .... Not for us, if your like to get your drink and cigarette smoke on it might be for you!!! I hope anyone who buys this place ( it's for sale ) makes it 1000 % better, maybe then we'll try again !! read more

The staff here is fantastic, and we love them. I must say that the new paint job is not only hideous, but makes you feel unwelcome. It used to be cozy and inviting. Now it's sterile gray and looks like they've lost their lease and are preparing to put it on the market as office space. What were they thinking?!?!? Nice view outside on patio. I guess we'll go out there for now. The inside is unbearably bad. The previous warmth is just plain dead. Ugh! Go for the staff, the view, the company, but if you're indoors you'd be better off drinking with your eyes closed. Please paint it back the way it was. read more

Trying new places every chance we get and this was our random spot for the month. It's a great little bar and grill with friendly service and a view of the water. When you walk across the street you can see Seattle across the water. We sat in the enclosed porch that had large windows that were open so you could smell the salt air. The food was good and I believe made to order. My son raves over his cowboy burger and fries. I have gone Keto so I had the taco salad without the chips and I found it very filling. The tomato's were firm and tasty and there was plenty of meat. I also had fresh avocado which was also very good. The coffee was kinda weak, but I have come to expect that when eating out. Overall we had a quiet and pleasant meal and would recommend this place. read more

The Manchester Pub! After closing down for awhile, the new owners, Fox and Becky, have turned this small pub into a masterpiece. It has a great nautical theme, pool tables, clean bathrooms, music, open mic night, great beer and drinks, and an outdoor seating area for smoking and drinking (with a heater). What more can you ask for? The people are friendly, the staff is great, and the place is registered as a Biker Bar. This is a great place to relax, play some pool, and get your party on. Right in Manchester, walk out the door and you can see Seattle across the water. Just a short walk to the boat launch and park, get a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline. The only downside to this bar is the menu. Its great if you just want a quick snack before you start drinking, but if you are looking for a full meal, you may want to stop somewhere first. But the Family Inn is right next door and they have great food. read more

Don't make Joe mad, he asks the first time but the second time he tells you. Not a horrible place, the drink selection wasn't bad at all. I think we unfortunately got there on a bad night, they rushed everyone out at midnight due to plumbing issues or something like that. Would consider coming back, but Joe got a little too threatening with one of my buddies. Unnecessary to say the least, but whatever. read more

Manchester Pub offers a fantastic beer selection! For others like me who have gluten intolerance, they have Stella Artois Cidre on tap, omission pale ale and coors peak!! I just moved here from Utah, and I am thrilled to find a neighborhood bar like this one. Fresh seafood from Oregon on Sundays, free pool everyday, and great specials on liquor and micro brews! Kerri Lou sold us on the fresh fish, and it was delicious. Thus far the staff has proven to be friendly and efficient! Awesome local crowd! I will continue to frequent this bar! read more

Whatever you do do not go there. I came in with a bunch of my friends and they asked me for my ID. My wallet was stolen a week prior so I had a state recognize paper ID and for extra bonus I went to the state web page and showed them my pictures to go with the paper without even being asked. I was told that I needed a valid license or I had to leave. Even thought I had a school ID and provide proof who I was. The Security guard told me to get out even though my friends had already ordered food. Add the fact that it was absolutely freezing outside degrees outside. (Note I have a child who can legally drink so i don't look young). I asked for the owner's number the security guy hands me a card, so i go outside to call it. He picks up the phone laughing "acting like this was a big joke" poor ethics and bad business move. I tried to get the manager number again.. no luck, but as I was leaving I told him nicely that I was leaving, but I would never come back and was heading out the door. He starts clapping and taunting me as I was exiting the building. So, instincts kicked in and I close the door real quick behind me and it closed on him. Now thats where it got really bad! He started threatening to kick my ass because he now had a right to because I slammed the door on him. I was actually scared for my safety and life. Luckily a brunette came out of the bar and he went inside. Understanding I was sober. I had not had anything to drink yet, nor did I want to. I was just there because my friends. They wanted to check the place out. I wasn't acting like a threat. I never once raised my voice r threaten them. So, now I am worry about other women he has threatens and abused his power on to control/manipulate. I think they have poor work ethics by giving me a number knowing it was going to call them so he could mock me inside the bar while I was outside in 27degree weather with no car. It's also not safe for women, especially if they are alone. He is a dangerous predator. read more

Mundane food, lousy service and rude bartender. The bartender accused a disabled customer of being on drugs. The customer's boyfriend tried to calmly explain the situation to her and she was extremely rude. They finished their food and left. I won't be back. read more

After moving here from San Jose life has been pretty mundane until May 21st. I'm blown away at what a Great time I had when a lifelong friend Glenn guitarist for his band "The Drive" invited me along to his gig at the Manchester Pub. The first person we were graciously greeted by was a Bartender named Shari(hopefully correct spelling). She really set the tone as far as how the rest of my evening went. The service was impeccable, and I could tell she truly loves her job. She never really walked, but danced her way around as she attentively catered to all of the guests needs. I have been here since January and can honestly say this was the first time I can say I had a great time. I haven't danced in over 20 years, and last night I danced and probably looked like an idiot doing so, but didn't seem to care! Great people, great music, great crowd,GREAT TIME!!! Jeff S. read more

Great, if you smoke. Not so great, if you don't. We decided to come here because it's close to home and a pretty laid back environment. This night was a Saturday, and the place was busy. As we walked up, there was a crowded outdoor smoking section just to the left of the entrance. Not thinking too much of it, we went in and found one of two open tables left. I ordered drinks, and we sat and observed our surroundings. We immediately noticed the inescapable smoke smell in the area. Their outdoor smoking section is attached to the inside seating area, and they just leave the door wide open! It was completely overpowering, so we ended up leaving after one drink. When I cashed out, the bartender made a comment about how quick our visit was, so I mentioned to her about the smoke, and she kind of awkwardly shook it off. I get that it's a bar and all, but in Washington, it's illegal to smoke within 25 feet of a door or open window. There were probably a dozen people smoking immediately outside this open door. Our clothes reeked of smoke just from the 10-15 minutes we were there. If that's the customer base they want to cater to, that's fine, but until they do something about the smoke, I won't be back. The only thing keeping this from one star is that service is good, and their food is pretty decent for bar food. Fix the smoke, and it would be 3-4 stars. read more

I liked that it was covered, so that you could enjoy the beautiful weather without the hot sun beating down on you. I saw a few people eating and food looked pretty good. Just moved to town and the Manchester Pub happens to be the closest bar to our house and we're glad it is. It's pretty simple- bar, pool table, couple of TVs, jukebox- it's just what you want in a good neighborhood spot. Service has been great. They have some food- pizzas, dogs, wings, etc- but it's not a restaurant. I like sitting in the outdoor seating area. It's an open aired space with tables and a couple couches. It's a great place to hang out on a cool rainy northwest afternoon. A bit of rain mixing with a bit of a seabreeze while sipping a PBR- it doesn't get much better. read more

I didn't know where I was but I am glad I experienced this place! I took the ferry from Seattle over to Bremerton. It was mu first time and I met my cousin Glenda there. We just met one another and she asked if I wanted to drive around the water... uh, yes! We drove all around the water and she asked if I wanted to eat here and they always have good food and fast friendly service. We arrived about 6. During our amazing conversation we were well taken care of. The food was on point and the service was amazing. We sat next to a wood burning stove. They closed at 8 and at 830 we were gabbing away. We asked what time they close and they said we closed at 8. They were all done cleaning. They were going to stay there while we talked. What a great way to treat your customers. I, however, didn't want them to do that and we quickly paid and left. I got back on the ferry and headed back to Seattle. However, now that I am back at home in Boise, I am craving the food!!!! When I think of the show cheers I think of Manchester pub. I have been going there for about 4 years now. It has a very warm and inviting feel to it. Not to crowded like the moon dogs. Drinks are fair priced and the staff are amazing. From the bartender to the dj, you feel welcome right when you walk in. Rarely bars greet you when you walk in but these woman/man who run the bar try their best to at least greet you as you walk in and tell you to have a good night as you leave. Fast, accurate and knowledgeable with their drinks :o great people skills even when they are slammed. They make eye contact with you when sit at the bar when they are packed to show that they see you and will be with you in a moment. Love the pizza :P not going to lie it is pricy for the size but hell its pizza made fresh and cooked there at the bar. That being my only gripe though. I have watched this bar expand and constantly upgrading and changing to accommodate its customers. The dj is funny, warm and kind, an all around good woman :) also great to see her join in on songs and very professional. You tend to know most of the people at the bar if you go there a enough times. Personally I love that. Oh I guess I have one last gripe. Wish there was more cover or at least more chairs for when its crowded. Though not a huge deal since I am mainly dancing with my girl. Love Manny! This little gem of a small town kind of American restaurant is great!. The fries are crispy yet hearty and substantial , but not overly thick . The staff was very accommodating to a family member with diabetes and they're polite and courteous . I found the Manchester Pub to be an excellent family restaurant which is sure to please everyone with their traditional classics . Definitely a happy customer and hoping to return in the near future. read more

This is a nice little pub. I went there for the Sunday night jam hosted by "Harmonica Dave". It was a lot of fun. The drinks there are very reasonably priced and not weak. I had not inteded to eat anything when I went there. I thought I would just have a couple drinks and listen to some music until the bartender started frying up some crab cakes. Man, they really smelled good and they were only like $2 so I tried one. I am glad I did as it was actually really good. Not exactly what I would expect for "bar" food cooked on a hot plate behind the bar. If you go there be sure to try them. read more
