When private equity takes over expect prices to rise and quality of care to go down. So, first sign I have noticed....when you call they do everything they can to avoid having to answer the phone. You are encouraged to call back if no one answers or to use the app. This is common practice for these PE firms---cut down on front office staff to increase revenue. So don't expect the phone to be answered. Go use the app and save us money on salaries. The other tactics already in play are to raise the prices on exams, try to force the customer to use Riverview's pharmacy, make it difficult to get refills without requiring an often unneeded exam, and so forth. It's time to start looking for another clinic that is not owned by private equity. My love for my dog should not be an opportunity for a profit driven PE firm to cash in on me. It's disgusting.

When she suggested taking him to the back to clip the area, my dog reacted - as well as I. I could tell by her energy I didn't want her alone with my dog. Sure enough he gets on the table to he looked at, in his butthole so he is nervous and she's shouting "sedation sedation". After getting it trimmed, she tells me he has a tumor. As my eyes water up because my 8 year old Aussie has been just diagnosed with a tumor she asked me, why I'm crying? I go on to answer this stupid question and then say, what's next. "Well surgery, do you have any questions?" I think I lost it then, I had many questions to which she wouldn't have cared or answered in my opinion. With no answers or previous information on tumors, to belittle and be condescending on someone trying to get an idea of what to do when this was a completely unexpected turnout. We immediately left, switched vets, and I have told everyone I can about this. I will beconsistently be warning people of this place.

We dropped Smaxwell off at 7:30 with a very friendly young lady who explained everything to us and told us about posting pics on Facebook. We were a tad late picking him up because the train was running behind but they said it wasn't a problem and we got him just in the nick of time. They even allow dogs to spend the night, if the train is late, free of charge!! Since I don't speak dog I can't 100% say how Smax enjoyed himself but he seemed tuckered our and happy to see me at the end of a long day of playing! I highly recommend this place for pups because they are very affordable, friendly staff, and located right down the street from the train!

When I arrived, she was not in the location I was told she would be. When I walked into the area, her kennel was empty -- and the only other kennel was wide open and empty as well. In that moment, I genuinely thought my dog had been stolen. No staff member was present, no signage, no explanation. I had no way of knowing whether another dog had already been picked up and mine taken with them. I stood there panicked, thinking the worst. Only later was I told that there was never another dog in that second kennel. But how was I supposed to know that when both kennels were empty and no one was there to help? The lack of communication and the careless setup caused unnecessary fear and distress. My dog was eventually located, but this experience was unacceptable. Clear communication and secure, supervised pickup procedures are basic expectations for any boarding facility. This place failed to meet them.

Mercy had been on the tail end of a bad hot spot break out due to allergies and one of the spots on her face had broken open again. I had heard the girls answering the phones telling people they had no open appointments until the next day.
