This should have been a simple thing to find and fix, so I'm really not sure how all the techs managed to miss this. I also suspect that they were disrespectful because were not men, and it really felt like they were gaslighting us during our conversations.

AMEX called, emailed & texted us letting us know our bill was late, asked if we were okay and if we needed any assistance. Hargray, on the other hand, shut off our internet without contacting us at all 2-days after the bill was due. We only found out the next morning while trying to log onto our respective Zoom calls. We were met with an unsympathetic customer service rep who told us "Pay the bill & we will turn your internet back on!" After 3 hours, we were back on line. Hargray claims to be a family company, but they are nothing more than uncaring corporate scabs! Wish there was another option in our area we would drop them immediately!

I ended my service with them when we were still under the effects of hurricane Helene in 2024. It hit a day after I paid my bill in September and they said they were going to credit everyone for the time everyone was out. They said they were not going to do credits on accounts until everyone service was back up and they would give everyone credits based on how long it took to get the last customer up. So they billed me for October when services were still down till mid-october and then gave me another bill afterwards after I closed my account. They never gave any credits for the disaster, told me my balance was zero when I closed my account and then 3 months later I got noticed they slapped 2 months worth of bills on my credit. My collection agency called me from random numbers and then threaten to fight me while insulting my intelligence. Filed three disputes with transunion and they refuse to remove it even though there's proof that I was in a declared natural disaster zone during the time of the billing because the vyve did not give me a letter stating they were going to give credits based on the natural disaster. I don't believe anyone got a letter so they just think they can get paid for services not rendered which last time I checked was considered theft.
