We moved from our house and the Charter technician came and picked up the equipment the the day the movers were there. I trusted the technician to steer me straight. He took the cable box but let the phone internet modem even though I asked him if he wanted it. He said it would be left there for the next customer. That trust was a mistake. I received a letter that we now owe Charter money for the modem . Do I feel betrayed? Yes. I have tried to resolve this with Charter but to no avail. Of course they do not know who the technician was, They cannot even trace the pickup of the cable boxes to the date it happened. But now they are threatening to hit my credit report if I do not pay. They are also using this as an excuse not to pay a $170 credit they owe me. DO NOT USE CHARTER! They are not honest.

AMEX called, emailed & texted us letting us know our bill was late, asked if we were okay and if we needed any assistance. Hargray, on the other hand, shut off our internet without contacting us at all 2-days after the bill was due. We only found out the next morning while trying to log onto our respective Zoom calls. We were met with an unsympathetic customer service rep who told us "Pay the bill & we will turn your internet back on!" After 3 hours, we were back on line. Hargray claims to be a family company, but they are nothing more than uncaring corporate scabs! Wish there was another option in our area we would drop them immediately!

We ended up switching to Brightspeed. Now vyve won't come get the line out of our yard, and our lawn service cannot cut our lawn. They also charged us a whole month's subscription and has us in the system as still connected, although we turned in the equipment. They're so crooked! I'm glad we switched! The messed up part is they sent us a work order saying they removed the line and it's still sitting in my yard. I've been here all day and no one has come.
