On top of them blocking my number when I file complaints against their company for service issues they did not want to fix, they also slap stuff on my credit they shouldn't have. I ended my service with them when we were still under the effects of hurricane Helene in 2024. It hit a day after I paid my bill in September and they said they were going to credit everyone for the time everyone was out. They said they were not going to do credits on accounts until everyone service was back up and they would give everyone credits based on how long it took to get the last customer up. So they billed me for October when services were still down till mid-october and then gave me another bill afterwards after I closed my account. They never gave any credits for the disaster, told me my balance was zero when I closed my account and then 3 months later I got noticed they slapped 2 months worth of bills on my credit. My collection agency called me from random numbers and then threaten to fight me while insulting my intelligence. Filed three disputes with transunion and they refuse to remove it even though there's proof that I was in a declared natural disaster zone during the time of the billing because the vyve did not give me a letter stating they were going to give credits based on the natural disaster. I don't believe anyone got a letter so they just think they can get paid for services not rendered which last time I checked was considered theft. read more

Poor customer service! We complained about our internet. Kept going in and out. Rep said she saw no problems on their end. The ended up putting a temporary line in our yard. We ended up switching to Brightspeed. Now vyve won't come get the line out of our yard, and our lawn service cannot cut our lawn. They also charged us a whole month's subscription and has us in the system as still connected, although we turned in the equipment. They're so crooked! I'm glad we switched! The messed up part is they sent us a work order saying they removed the line and it's still sitting in my yard. I've been here all day and no one has come. read more

I am only writing a review because others have given some horrible reviews, and I have to say that I have had great internet service with Vyve here in Greenwood, SC. At one point I had trouble due to my old router, but I purchased a new one and have enjoyed great WIFI as well as wired connection. Of course, the internet was out for a while after the hurricane hit, but seeing so many trees down and laying on lines around the area, that was not a surprise; and it was back up and running well 9 days later. So I want to be fair and give them applause for their work, and I also want to say that when I have had any trouble it was not difficult to get in touch with someone, unless there was an outage in the area, in which case a recording would tell me this. The customer service people have always been very pleasant and professional, and I thank them all. read more

It has been two weeks since the broadband and Internet have been out in Edgefield s. C. And Johnston, s. C. I realize hurricanes are extreme. However, no one that I have spoken with has seen any Vyve trucks. Social media reflects that as well. Running a business without va phone or Internet vis impossible. There is no communication as to when service will be restored. Other utilities have been hard at work. If you can't service an area, don't sell the service. read more

I turned my equipment in on 12/2/2022 due to such bad service with Netfilix and Amazon buffering way too much!. My billing cycle runs from 11/22/2022 - 12/2/2022. They are trying to charge me for a FULL MONTH OF SERVICE even though I turned in my equipment on 12/2/2022. They are claiming they can do this because of "block billing". That's BS. How can you charge for services NOT rendered? I switched to Dish and AT&T and haven't had a single problem with buffering! I do NOT recommend Vyve (Northland Cable/Internet) if you live in the Seneca, SC area. Go with Dish and AT&T. All I asked them to do was to give me a prorated bill and they have refused. read more

I currently am paying for 100 Mbps. I am LUCKY to get 10 Mbps. I'm a pretty easy going guy though and didn't complain unless the internet went down completely for more than a few days. It goes down pretty regularly for a few hours at a time. Tonight I had to pay a late fee because their website didn't process my payment along with other charges out of nowhere. If you have a choice, this isn't the choice you should be making. As soon as fiber comes to my neighborhood the bad customer service and even worse internet service is ending. read more

Worst Internet and cable provider ever. Avoid at all cost. Expensive with poor quality and poor customer service

When Century Link treated us like dirt, we called Northland. They set us up with them immediately, made an appointment for installation the next day, and kept to that appointment. The man was out here the next day, installed our modem, and asked us to test it out. read more

My internet goes out multiple time a day. The record so far is 52 times in one day. Technicians have come out multiple times but have not resolved the issue. I have been living with this for 2 years now...I know! These guys are the only service provider in my area. The people seems nice and friendly, however, obviously not getting paid for their performance. I am a network engineer and know this is not rocket science. If you have an option to get internet service through another provider I would seriously consider it. read more
