Staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful and the hotel has a tasteful decor and a somewhat upscale ambiance that is noteworthy. Rooms are clean and crisp, with excellent amenities and our room boasted a truly exemplary shower; easy step-in and roomy, with excellent water pressure and temperature control. Beds are extremely comfortable. The complimentary hot breakfast is very good; with all the favorites. We often stay at Comfort Suites Hotels around the country and the Jackson I-40 location is an excellent representative of the chain.

My husband is Titanium elite for life because he spent so much time staying at Marriott properties. Springhill is one of my favorites for road trips. I really like the trundle bed/sofa. My grandson slept comfortably. It's easier to set up and put back together than fold outs. They offered a good breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, bagels, English muffins. I just wish they'd had half and half. I don't like artificial creamers.

It's clear this place hasn't had a refresh since it was built. The decor is dated broken and stained. The walls are dingy the whole hotel smells like smoke. The general manager working the counter was a nice guy got us checked in fairly quickly. They have a bar area which serves Starbucks coffee for a price, but it was also dark and dingy and not very inviting. It's unfortunate that they've let this courtyard get to this point and honestly, I'm surprised that Marriott hasn't stepped in and forced improvements being on their brand not intended as a dig at Marriott or this courtyard just critical feedback that it's time for a remodel.
