Coffee maker complete with decaf and tea. We found an iron and board we could use. I was surprised there was no date in the room. The pool opens from 6am - 11 pm. Most hotel pools close at 9 pm. What matters the most to you from a hotel? Most would say, there bed and shower. This did not disappoint. Extremely comfortable bed and the shower has great water pressure. Breakfast was free and offered up a nice selection of options. From cereals I'm hot oatmeal and different types of bakery choices. Make your own waffles and 5 different types of coffees which were delicious! I already have plans on staying here again without hesitation.

As another Yelper said the hotel is near plenty of restaurants, a mall, a movie theater. It's also near a Pet Smart if you happen to be traveling with your pet/s. It was nice having a Dollar Tree and Target nearby. This hotel makes it very easy to stay on budget with its close proximity to other businesses that offer cost friendly essentials. The area was very suburban-ish and familiar. With a full fridge, microwave, dishes and dish washer, it's the perfect hotel for an extended stay. My room was very clean, bed comfortable. I had plenty of space. There was a nice pull out desk for getting work done on the computer. It was very similar to an efficiency apt. The kitchen and "living" area could be separated from the sleeping area with a fabric partition that hung from the wall. The living area had a pull-out sofa. The room had so much space and I didn't feel cramped at all. The complimentary continental breakfast was decent enough and there are other options you can walk to such as Subway and Another Broken Egg. The tv had plenty of channels including every HBO channel. I was able to catch an episode of the The Last of Us while relaxing in my room. An added bonus where the cute duck friends that greeted me as I was walking back from breakfast on my last day. 4 stars because my window shade was broken and I couldn't let down the blackout curtain. Luckily I travel with an eye mask.

Check in: staff was friendly and efficient, it is a one man show from housekeeping request to front desk, might be due to they only offer housekeeping service every other day. Room & Cleanliness: tight, definitely not enough room to move around if the sofa bed is pull out to use. Walking space around the bed is bare minimum. And the biggest one that got to us is the smell of the room. My daughter describe it as old socks and moldy. Mattress is thin, not supportive. Blanket cover had stains on it. There are hair and other dirty things on the sofa bed sheet. Not enough towels in the room, had to request more. Hair conditioner bottle was not working, pump couldn't screw open. Value: not really a cheap stay or deal , hence even more so disappointed. Location: very convenient, close to restaurants, shopping and more. Less than 15min to the Air force base. Parking: no shortage, easy to find. Did not have the breakfast there, so cannot comment on it.

Then, suddenly the night before at 5pm I receive a cancellation. Scrambling, found alternative but followed up with hotel on why my room was canceled and confirm I would not be charged and had to discuss with 2 agents. I'm told I could still have the room but it was cancelled because the rate changed. That is the entire purpose of a reservation, right? I told the agent raising the rate was unacceptable. He told me since I would be a no-show, I would be charged. I chatted with another bot and they claimed the hotel canceled my reservation because they did not hear from me by 6pm. The reservation was for the following day and canceled nearly 1 hr earlier. I would not suggest booking here if you actually need a room for the date booked at the rate desired. I don't need the stress so I will be choosing other options in the future.

Housekeeping does not care and is operating without adequate supervision. - Clock is wrong by 5+ hours. - Coffeemaker, but no cups, no coffee, no tea. - Tub has serious mildew issues. I visited the Front Desk to rectify the above, an am told: - No decaf available. - No tea available. - Get cups from the breakfast area ... where I also find a wide selection of available teas, but no decaf. Carpet is vacuumed. Bed and bath linens are fresh. One bath towel is significantly frayed and should be in the rag bag. Toilet stool is comically short - think elementary school short. Given two keys at check-in, only one worked. The next day, both of the keys did not work. Staffer apologized, saying, "this happens a lot." Sigh. Bed is excellent. WiFi is good. AC is excellent and quiet. Room was nicely cooled upon entry. Breakfast is good overall. Excellent pork sausage. Excellent, hot cinnamon rolls. No potatoes. Quiet, inspite of being very close to I-75. Will I return? For this price point, there are indeed better options nearby. Staff is pleasant. I expect: Better sanitation and attention to detail.

I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting an old friend who is a native and long term-resident of Urbana. In sum, staying here is better than a Comfort Inn, Motel 6, or Quality Inn, but not as nice as a Hyatt Place or Marriott Courtyard but they are charging the same rate: 1. It was fine for 2 nights--I really would not want to stay here much longer and if I return to Urbana would look for another place to stay unless their rates were significantly reduced. . 2. Upon check-in and during the stay my interaction with staff was fine--they were not overly welcoming when I arrived, but not super-friendly either. 3. Overall, the room was pretty clean, but I did find one errant hair in the shower and the the shower curtains had a little bit of dark at the bottom edges? A little dirty? 3a. The room was set up for efficiency which I liked a lot. 4. The main problem in the room was the shower operations--during three showers--one of them at 2 am when presumably few are using the hotel water, it was impossible to get the shower temperature to stay on my setting--it kept on going to hot or cold and required constant adjustment during the shower. 5. Most of the towels were good quality, but a few I had to set aside because of too much wear. They graciously gave me extra towels at the desk and I liked that. 5a. They do not make up or clean your room until the 3rd night unless you ask and I did not need it on this stay. 6. I did like that they had shower soap bars as I cannot properly clean with the liquid. 6a. The toilet seat is the very thin plastic type that when you lean a bit to one side snaps off the bowl edge like you are going to fall off if you know what I mean? You have to maintain your balance on the seat to prevent that from happening. 7. The King mattress was comfortable enough for a couple or nights, but not one I would sleep on full time at home. Same with the pillows--fine for 2 nights. 8. I am used to a heavier down comforter, and theirs was a bit thin for me, but fine for 2 nights. 9. The place seemed safe, in a safe area of town--definitely get out and see the downtown Urbana--they have some good restaurants and antique stores--great to walk around and meet the locals like I did. 10. The real fall-down at this hotel at this price range is the free breakfast--it's awful--it's the 2nd worst I have seen at a free breakfast hotel in 20 years. Plan on going into town for your breakfast--there are some good places. At this price point--this breakfast should have been much much better and comprehensive. In sum, no one is going to have a bad stay at this hotel, but no one is going to have a great stay at this hotel. It's mid-range, mediocre due to all the things I listed above. It's a $100 a night hotel in 2024 prices, charging much more than that like it's a Hyatt or Marriott, so it's over-valued--especially with such a poor breakfast. Sorry that I could not file a better a report because I liked Urbana a lot.

Safe area. No need to call for any services. If I had to list a complaint...it took the desk clerk a couple of minutes to get to the desk at check-in. She was busy talking to a co-worker in an office close to the desk. I don't know if it was personal or professional-- but either way I waited a little longer than I felt I should've. No big deal. Glad to have a clean place to lay my head!! Would certainly recommend Cobblestone HOtel & Suites.

They offer free popcorn throughout the day in their popcorn machine. Restaurant/bar - The bar there has 2 tvs and seats 30. It is not loud. Plenty of places to plug in and work. The food is quite good, better than expected in the bar. Breakfast - They offer hot food (not powdered eggs). Waffle station. Biscuits.and gravy. Veggie options for those.desiring it. Happy hour - From 1730 to 1900 they provide free food (nachos, hot dogs, pasta) and 3 free drinks. Choices are limited, but....free! Rooms - large and comfortable. The bed in mynroom was a new, comfy king with 5 ample pillows. The bathroom has a separate toilet and sink.divided by a door. The shower is large with glass doors and the shower heading fantastic. No tub. They have a pool and hot tub indoors. Parking is easy but the lot is shared with Red Lobster. Rewards - Drury is privately owned and does not use Bonvoy, Hilton, etc. They have their own points. Sign up is easy via email and the receptionist did it for me in 30 seconds. I will be staying here again!
