It's wide open ...it's fresh. It's nice. It has games tvs has a full on lobby with like food and drinks and like free water and ice and tea is just so nice and I'm stopping here to charge my phone. I don't even have to have a room here. This is so Amazing and I think they have free continental breakfast that's so cool.

Frickin stupid staff. Frustrating with every interaction. First at check in, they didn't have our…read morereservation and it took forever even with us providing the confirmation number and email to confirm the correct location etc. Then the next morning found an email that said we didn't check in and would be charged. We were already charge because they could t find us and booked another reservation. In checking out with the front desk, we wanted to make sure the no-show charge would be cancelled or reversed, the idiot at the desk accused us of booking through a third-party site and told us to call them. They didn't ask, just assumed. Again showed the app and the first reservation and proved we booked direct. She went and got the GM to reverse it. Frickin idiot! The breakfast is crap. Powder eggs, smoked sausage as a breakfast meat, empty fruit bowl, sweetened yogurt. Good sides are that the beds were clean (not the floors or the shower) the water pressure is great. At least the ice makers on the other floors weren't out of order. Don't trust GPS to get here. You have to look for it. New construction area. Seems like a good area but a lot of people were hanging out in busted junk cars parked behind the building so I wonder if someone allows people to car camp back there. They offer free popcorn throughout the day in their popcorn machine. Restaurant/bar - The bar there has 2 tvs and seats 30. It is not loud. Plenty of places to plug in and work. The food is quite good, better than expected in the bar. Breakfast - They offer hot food (not powdered eggs). Waffle station. Biscuits.and gravy. Veggie options for those.desiring it. Happy hour - From 1730 to 1900 they provide free food (nachos, hot dogs, pasta) and 3 free drinks. Choices are limited, but....free! Rooms - large and comfortable. The bed in mynroom was a new, comfy king with 5 ample pillows. The bathroom has a separate toilet and sink.divided by a door. The shower is large with glass doors and the shower heading fantastic. No tub. They have a pool and hot tub indoors. Parking is easy but the lot is shared with Red Lobster. Rewards - Drury is privately owned and does not use Bonvoy, Hilton, etc. They have their own points. Sign up is easy via email and the receptionist did it for me in 30 seconds. I will be staying here again!

Upon arrival, I noticed that the lobby was super clean and cozy, and I was greeted by very kind people at the desk. The room I stayed in, with thanks to my friend for earning us a free upgrade to a junior suite, was HUGE -- the perfect size for the two of us to live, work, and relax for a few days. Everything was, again, super clean, and the layout was superb (a C-shape from entrance to the bedroom area). I appreciated housekeeping's fabulous work, and all staff members I encountered were amazing throughout my stay. For the final night of my stay, I had to switch rooms, as my friend's reservation only lasted until Saturday and I made my own reservation for one night. I checked out of the first room at around 10:30am, and I was greeted by a manager at the front desk who, instead of simply offering a place for me to store my luggage, hooked me up with a room on the spot. She was incredibly kind and friendly throughout the interaction, which I really appreciated (especially since she absolutely went out of her way to accommodate this request). The king room I stayed in for the last night was also superb! As for amenities, I only really took advantage of the snack pantry, which was stocked with all the essentials. I 100% recommend this hotel, and I look forward to returning whenever I visit Dayton!

You can tell a lot of thought went into the redesign. The staff truly made the stay stand out. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with anything we needed. The check in desk personnel had great food suggestions. The location is also a huge plus--within close proximity to plenty of food options, and I loved how the hotel connects to the beautiful rotunda. It made walking around the city easy and enjoyable. My only minor complaint was having to valet the car, but honestly, even that was handled really well. The valet employees were efficient, accommodating, and made the process smooth. We had to leave for the airport before a valet was there so let parked our car in the front so it was easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again!

Check-in was delightful and the front desk crew was super friendly and interested in whether we had everything we needed every time we came and went. The restaurant and bar were excellent. The food was good and Alex, the manager, was so accommodating. I loved our spacious corner room. The bed slept great and I especially enjoyed the amazing shower pressure and lighted bathroom mirror for getting ready for the day. Overall it was an excellent hotel experience! I highly recommend this property.

The shower was so nice - the water pressure and shower head was my favorite part. The bed was also very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. My biggest issue is how loud the heat was when it kicked on. It woke me up, but I get it, it's an older building and HVAC wasn't a thing when it was originally built. Restaurant was not open yet, and they are working out the kinks as we noticed during our breakfast. Hopefully that gets sorted out! But overall nice place! Downtown Dayton doesn't have much going on, so if you're wanting to stay here and be close to things, there's nothing around, or anything really open in the evening. So its not convenient for that.

It was excellent so I booked the site in Troy, OH while at a high school graduation. It was wonderful. Breakfast area was clean and well-stocked. The hostess at breakfast insured coffee was hot and refilled. The desk staff was efficient and friendly. What more could a traveler ask for?

The toilet seat was loose and moved around when you sat on it, something I would assume housekeeping should notice when cleaning it - I certainly noticed it before I even sat down. The leather (vinyl?) couch was also dirty. We tend to wipe down our rooms and were surprised at the amount of dirt on the dark colored (brownish) couch - so it seems they do not wipe them off too often. I also hoped that being a lifetime platinum elite I would have gotten a room where I could overlook the ballpark. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Nevertheless, this hotel is a gem in the Gem City, and with a little more attention to the cleaning details can easily be 4 or 5 stars!

Some kind of beetle/rolly poley looking thing? Breakfast was nice though! I don't eat carbs and that's basically all that's served at hotels. So I really appreciated the scrambled eggs and sausage patties AND hard boiled eggs. Lots of coffee so I was able to fill my container before I left on my trip too. They offer military discount so ASK FOR IT! They accepted my dog and cat for a fee. I stayed in a handicapped room which was on the bottom floor which was nice, but the bathroom was one giant shower which was weird-but understandable considering what room I was in. I don't know, I just felt so gross and dirty staying here. 100% would not recommend. Unless you're a guy and you don't care about any of that stuff. But females! Let it be known, this place is pretty gross.

I hate giving poor reviews but here we go... And had to…read morestay overnight during our travel. We have a older pet he is a great dog doesn't bark etc. so we needed a hotel that allowed pets. I will give the positives first... the beds are very comfortable, the room was fairly clean there's a few things but not much to even mention. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The door has no interior latch and the locking and handle mechanism has seen some damage. But here we go really really really bad stuff... Dog crap everywhere! And I mean everywhere. Most people will put their dogs on leashes and take them to the pet area and pick up after them. It's evident that the clientele that they attract at this hotel does not respect this. And when I say everywhere I mean right out your door and all up and down the grassy area by sidewalk. You can't even step somewhere without stepping in it. In the morning there were dogs out unleashed. Not something I would subject my pet to argue for fear there would be a scuffle etc. unfortunately we won't be back. Hoping no flea guest tag along back home. But I kind of doubt it.
