OK...so I try to keep in mind what the aim/focus of a business is when I'm writing a review and not give a low rating just because that focus does not fit with my personal taste if the business does the thing they are trying to do well. Meaning...if I don't like hamburgers I'm not going to give a hamburger place a low rating if they seem to make a good burger...my not liking hamburgers isn't their fault....Homegoods seems to be one of those places that involve reduced price, kind of random things in a range of categories. It would likely be great fun with hidden bargains for people who love spending time looking for hidden treasures. I am not one of those people on most days...I need to be able to find what I'm looking for and get on with my day. Unless I'm on vacation, shopping is an item on my to-do list. If you have the time and enjoy the hunt, they do seem to have good quality items here including dishes, linens, towels and even furniture. They have some familiar brands of home products and items were in original packaging and appeared new. I needed some cushions for patio chairs and they did have some but the sizes and colors were not what I needed. They have shopping carts, but many aisles are too narrow for them. I think I'd likely only come back if I wasn't looking for anything in particular and was in the mood to just browse for random items. What an amazing selection of decor and home and garden den products. I spent 4 hours in the store and was delighted. I went nuts! First time in the store and I bought Easter items and also a new birdbath for my backyard. The employees were all helpful and very knowledgeable . So go and take a friend. I buy all my area rugs here. That is the only reason I come. They have a decent and interesting selection and the prices are reasonable. I go through rugs with two dogs. They carry other products but I never find what I am looking for. The staff is not available for help. You have to go up to the front check out, wait your turn on line, then ask for help. I will say when I get my rugs, they will wrap them and carry them to the car. The store is filled with decor. Lately they carry imported reproduction "vintage" decor that is popular. In addition, they carry towels and linens but I usually do not find what I need. It's supposed to be discounted prices but I find the prices are high for the quality of the products. They carry a few pieces of odd furniture. I like the furniture but don't like the idea that 100s of people have handled the upholstery before I buy it. So I don't buy it. Tip: come here often for the best days. The sweetest prices go first! This store has turned me off to getting house goods anywhere else. They have such cool and unique items for discounted prices. I've gotten everything from dishes to tables, from wall art to pillows. They even have cute snacks and knick knacks at the counter. I found the cutest design of plates that I've seen anywhere- multi-colored ceramic plates with a cool, Native American type pattern on it.. I'm a huge fan. read more

I don't come here as much as I would like and tbh its because I not a rich person! Seriously, I could easily spend a couple hundred in this store--the best part is that I would probably save a couple hundred by shopping here. I like to get dog toys and linens here; the best thing to do is to look at their clearance isle. I scored a fantastic $60 pet bed for $14 and the same bed is on Amazon for $44. I'm happy the furry kid(s) are happy. The store can get a little messy, admittedly I have picked up an item and then absentmindedly placed it onto a different self....across the store. Oopsie, sorry! But the staff are very friendly and the store never gets too crazy messy, but then again I haven't been there during the holiday rush. And actually, this place would be perfect to pick up inexpensive Christmas gift and/or housewarming gift. read more

We'll I think I'm qualified to review this home goods, as I practically live here! This store has a good, consistent staff. They're very helpful and remember regular customers. The place is well organized and clean. I never leave empty handed. They have a really good selection of on trend rugs. This is my go to place for gifts. You can find anything for your kitchen here. This is such a great location. My main reason for supporting this location is because the line is not insanely long like it is at the Allisonville location. Plus they have great stuff for the kitchen, office, bedroom and pet supplies! I seriously am always blown away by the selection and prices at this location!! Plus they always have fun clearance spots in every section that has great stuff; things you're surprised is on clearance and so cheap! I recently was in search of lamp shades for many of my lamps that were lonely and lost their shades years ago. I was worried they would only sell the shades with the lamps, nothing solo. But they had a great selection! I ended up finding 4 lamp shades I LOVED for a great price!! Happy that I could find what I was looking for so easily and for a good price! read more

My all-time favorite homegoods! I drive out of my way to come to this homegoods (that also has its cousin, Marshall's, right next door). They always seem to have the nicest updated selection of items. The store is hardly ever packed and you're not squeezing through people or items on the floor. If I'm ever out looking for something I know is a homegoods type of item, I have ALWAYS found it here. This store confuses me so much. I must be doing something wrong because so many of my friends rave about Homegoods, but I don't get it. It seems like piles of confusing junk to me. Nothing goes together, nothing is very well organized, and no employees are around to help. I expect to find many treasures and end up feeling stressed by how messy and cluttered the whole store is. I'm happy it works for people, but I'd rather just watch for sales at my favorite brand name stores instead of spending hours wading around this mess without any indication if I'm going to find what I'm looking for. read more

I love Homegoods! I usually go to the Carmel location since it's close to my home. Without fail, I find things I didn't know I needed or even wanted. One of the better places to get good deals on home necessities for kitchen and bathroom and also some food options too. The furniture and rugs are still a bit steep sometimes but overall you can find some great savings here. This store is always very clean and organized well too. Holy Deals! I love love love this store! I have found so many great deals and buys here! They have so many great brand names for great prices. They have made a better attempt to get everything organized. Originally it was a hot mess in there. They have great prices. I have bought a lot of my good cooking knives here. I have also been able to find great home decor as well. When all of the Halloween dog and cat toys for 75% I stalked up for the Humane Society. Those poor animals need some extra joy in their life!
