Regular shopper - staff are friendly - but general manager Alex not so much - he seemed to be upset and had a bad attitude with customers - asked a simple question and he responded like he did not care and was very abrupt. I call this out because customer service and respect to the customer should come from leaders too . You could tell he is no leader. Sharing because I was happy with our shopping experience till we met the general manager Alex. We expressed that that was not a nice attitude he disagreed - hence we felt like he does not care about his customers. Again all the 4 others staff were extremely nice - Alex was not. read more

I had not shopped at this HomeGoods location for roughly a year because the last time I was there it was a mess. But today I was impressed! It looked like they recently remodeled and the store was in very good condition. I was returning something I purchased from another HomeGoods but of course I had to look around. Since replacing my floors recently I've been updating my home decor as well. I found bathroom accessories to match the shower curtain I purchased earlier this week. I love it when that happens! I found a soap dish, toothbrush holder and something to hold Q-tips for my guest bath. They had tons of furniture, pictures, mirrors, bath and bedding. And don't sleep on the isle you must walk through to check out. They put so many things there it took me almost 10 minutes to get to the check out counter LOL. If you are looking to spruce up your home I would absolutely recommend this HomeGoods store. It's organized and fully stocked. read more

If you love anything remotely similar to TjMaxx, you'll love it's sister store HomeGoods. There are a ton of pieces that can get your creativity juices going to decorate your house. The only thing about this store is you better get the item while you see it because most likely you'll never see it again. I ended up purchasing some really fun metal art for the walls. I also saw some nice patio furniture if anyone is looking to spruce up the outside for a nice barbecue or maybe gardening. I guess I wish I had a larger patio :). read more

I was shopping for some benches and barstools and saw this bench brightly marked as $129, so I asked for help getting it into my cart. When I went to purchase they looked for a barcode tag that wasn't visible and the associate had to look for. When she rang it up, it was 149!!!! I told them that they should honor the red tag that was boldly displayed. What's the purpose of having a tag that gives a price they won't honor because it doesn't match the tag no one sees??!?!?!! They said it was an associate mistake, but they shouldn't bother putting on a tag that draws your eye to a price. Just keep the one tag you're going to use to ring up!!!! It's like a bait and switch to attract you to one price then ring you up for another?!?!! Told someone else about my experience and they had the had the same experience. Horrible horrible store and manager. We came to this location and bought the pictured rug. We got home and noticed it's damaged. We go back to the store to exchange the rug (which we used a 10% coupon on). We go in exchange the rug which should be an even exchange and the manager proceeds to tell me my 10% coupon is no longer eligible because I used it on the damaged first rug. How is this man a manager. It's an even exchange. Rug for a rug. Guys a moron and says "somebody will buy it" about the damages rug and puts it back on the floor for someone to use. I was treasure hunting for sure~ found the closest HomeGoods to my new home hoping to strike gold! The accent chairs I wanted are out of stock and not predicted to be available till May! So I was popping in just to see if they had any chairs I couldn't live without. I didn't find chairs I loved- BUT, I found other things! I bought a gorgeous planter for $15! Heck yeah~ wish there was two, but I snagged the one. There were various lamps I had to show John pics of- might be back today to grab those and a little fun coffee table for $40! We will have a little reading/study type room and that table would go great with the accent chairs I have yet to find! I was thrilled to see they had full shelves of various inventory! I had been into other locations over the last several months and complete aisles were empty! This may be a curse having this store right up the road... they had pet swinging seats! I don't need it- I don't even know if either of my cats would use it- but my goodness! They were very intriguing! I see money walking right out of my wallet every time I walk in! read more

This store opened recently and I haven't had a chance to check it out until now. I've been one too many stores today and was too tired to really look around. My oldest daughter was able to find a gift for her cousin in the $12.99 and under section so certainly affordable but there are some larger than life stuffed animals for +$80 (only looked at one item, others could be less). My younger daughter loves this place because of all the stuff animals. The store size itself is average but they cramp a lot of stuff in the space. If you're looking for something unique for your home or an affordable gift, you may find it here. I'll definitely be back to browse longer after I recoup from the holidays. read more

I had a very frustrating experience at this store today. I was looking for reusable metal drinking straws. It seemed like a simple request. The lady that I tried to get to help me didn't speak enough English to understand what I was asking for. She looked at me blankly and pointed to the kitchen rugs. I think she thought I was looking for a mat? I said no, drinking straw. She pointed at the aisle with the glass where I had already looked. I said no, straw. She asked if I wanted plastic. I said no, metal. She took me too the front counter to talk to the check out clerk who also didn't know. Her excuse was that she doesn't work on the floor. . nobody seemed to want to help me so I put down the things in my hand and left. What happen to Customer Service? read more

I have been to this HomeGoods a few times and each time, I have been lucky enough to find whatever I was looking for. This HomeGoods is located on Atlantic near Kernan. It is easy to get to and the store seems newer and very clean. There is a lot to choose from inside and there are some great brands hidden around the store from Ralph Lauren to Waterford to Vera Wang. I have gone looking for kitchen goodies and also I really like their selection of jams and spreads. They have a lot of yummy imported ones and the price is just right. There is plenty of parking and checking out is usually fairly easy, the lines aren't too long. I would highly recommend this location. read more

Hey! A new HomeGoods store I haven't been to yet! After sweating it out at the Food Truck rally over at Academy, Mom and I decided to come over and check it out. I'm not entirely impressed with their furniture, linens and decor, but take me over to the kitchen goodies and I'm in heaven. The some of the aisles are shopping cart-wide so it can be difficult to squeeze by. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you if needed. read more

Very nice home goods, the place was extremely clean and actually organized. For this of you who've been to a not good home goods know how frustrating it is when things aren't in order. This place knows their audience for sure, there is a huge selection of pet supplies and toys. If you're like me you know that home goods is the best place to buy pet supplies because of how inexpensive they are. Newly opened Home Goods store! I love it ! Welcome to the neighborhood. First off, customer service at this location is superb ! The store associates that I have came in contact with the times I have been here have been nice and attentive. The other day when I came in the store they store associates were cheering and announcing on the loud speaker each time a donation was made to St. Jude's Children's hospital. I enjoyed the joyful spirit ! This store has tons of nice products and they have an array of items that are all of higher quality. One comment that I will make of possible improvement is allowing for more space and less clutter in some areas. I am happy this new Home Goods has so many items available but in some sections of the store I find it to be very cramped and sort of overly cluttered to the point where it is difficult to even see the items because of the overpopulation. So I would just recommend, having different organization. Or even removing a few items off the shelf which could allow for the items that are there to be seen more rather than way overstocked. Yay another Homegoods in Jax! I came on the grand opening and as expected it was crowded but I still managed to find a few things. The store is fairly large and the selection is great.
