My husband and I stopped in to waste some time today and their Easter items are in full swing when you first walk in the door. Spring has definitely sprung in Home Goods. I bought around 6 items for less than $40 which was pretty good, but I was a bit disappointed in their selection and there were a lot of boxes around the aisles waiting to be unpacked. I was also bummed that this location doesn't have a toys section either. I think I prefer Home Goods during the Fall and early Winter when there are more holiday items available. This store is nice and big and has a great selection of products. On this rare occasion I went specifically for Easter decor. I usually like roaming the isles and letting the undiscovered treasures speak to me lol. These days you do have to get to the store for a specific holiday about 2-3 months beforehand to get the best selection as closer to the actually holiday they will have limited decor and have already moved on to the next holiday. This store is usually quite orderly, though it does seem to have a much smaller selection of items on sale/clearance. The cashiers are always very pleasant and friendly. My only qualm is the bathrooms are always in desperate need of attention, this particular visit had 1 of the 2 stalls out of toilet paper with lots of debris on the floor and the other accesible stall taken up by a patron or maybe a staff member on their break as they were just seated and watching videos on their phone with the sound on, pretty annoying. All in all great place to shop for holiday and house decor.the prices have gotten a little high, considering the quality of some of the products, I'm guessing we can blame tariffs for that and hopefully they go back to being more reasonable. read more

12/8/25. Monday noon time . Yes, racial profiling and racial hatred is still alive. So as I am on my way to check out, a tall white guy made sure that we would cross paths, but his demeanor was cold, he didn't greet me,he tried to intimidate me instead, I watched him meet the other Manager and their backs were turned and they were facing the window. I believe she told him to do it, so as I was leaving,, I turned around and she was looking at me wiping her hands to signify that I was dirty. I saw the other Manager and mentioned to her how the other girl made me feel welcomed. I mentioned to her also that I have been to other places where I have been profiled wrongfully. She apologized, I said my Husband who is Irish -American told me if anyone especially another guy give me a hard time, that they would have to deal with him. I made sure he heard it, because he knew what I was doing and I knew what he was doing. It's my right to walk into a store and feel free to shop just like anyone else. And I will be back,but with my Husband, if that behavior continues, I'm going to their corporate office and have them put on the news like I did Target. Treat Black Women with dignity and respect that they deserve. Period. read more

We stopped into HomeGoods on a mission today for a small side table. This location is nice because there is plenty of parking, but it can get very busy. We walked in and all the fall and Halloween items were immediately on display, tucked to the right as soon as we entered were the beginnings of winter and winter holiday decorations too. During today's visit it was a bit claustrophobic- a lot of the aisles were taken up by people where they weren't keeping their carts to one side so we had to wait and or navigate around the main aisles to avoid the traffic. I also noticed they seemed very stocked with items piled on top of each other on the shelves. I'm not sure if they just received a shipment and were fully stocked or if they were anticipating a lot of shoppers looking for storage bins and containers. To me when there is stuff piled on each other it makes it less fun to look at and more chaotic. We did find what we came for though, a side table that we're hoping will be the right fit. It was even on clearance, which is a win! read more

Came in two days ago. Had seven items in my basket. Was told registers weren't working. They took my number & told me they would call. I received a call yesterday & was told I had three days to pick them up. I told the person on the phone @ HG's I would come today. She said great. I came in & they did not have them. They returned them this morning. I am beyond disappointed with their lack of communication. That's twice I came here for nothing. Never again. Ver poor customer service! So much fun to come here and look at everything with Korea ma. We both say look and no buy kinda rule. Did I follow, of course not. . We both were just making ooh and awww and look it's you. But then I passed up on a lot of things, because I don't need. Then I saw a musical mug which us beauty and the beast be our guest song from the mug. I did buy it, however it didn't play the song be our guest, so back to return it goes. Otherwise this mug was such a cutie. . We love the holiday decor, such as tea pots, mug, and cook wares. We loved looking at the toys and miscellaneous items too. We were so tempted to buy a boba night light, but then I said the cons for it and we eventually put it back. So did we get anything from here, no so mission accomplished. LOL . Overall if you have friends who like to go shopping with you this is the store to bring them to. Hope this review helps. I love dropping by this HomeGoods every time we are in the area to see what's new! With a constantly rotating stock, it's like a treasure hunt to see what's there from week to week. This location in particular is the only store in Sacramento proper. The storefront is in the Howe 'Bout Arden shopping plaza - thankfully on the side with a more spacious parking lot! There are many other businesses in the same vicinity or close by - shops, restaurants, movie theater, mall, etc. so it's convenient to stop by after visiting somewhere else. They have a wide selection of different home, kitchen, and garden items, as well as a good variety of furniture, decor, storage, lighting, etc. There's an eclectic mix to choose from, usually in different colors and styles based on what you're looking for, and prices are fairly reasonable. However, there is some pressure to buy - an item you want may be gone the following week if you don't purchase it before it rotates out. One con for this store specifically is that it can get pretty busy and crowded inside, especially on the weekends. The aisles are small/narrow so it can be difficult to navigate around other people when browsing, especially when they are stopped in the middle of an aisle with a cart. The line for checkout can also get long but usually moves quickly. Despite all this, I could still spend hours inside here just perusing the shelves and new items looking for a bargain! read more

This place was super dirty. I was there last Saturday to finish up some Christmas shopping and cut my thumb while picking up my daughter's boot that fell onto the floor. It was bleeding pretty bad. There were glass shards everywhere and they didn't care to clean it up. Management was upset that we asked them to file an incident report. Lovely staff and great browsing selection of items. Prices aren't too bad, either, though it'd be depending on what you're getting, of course. Plenty of parking! Same center as Container Store, Kura Revolving Sushi, etc. Hubby and I were in the area and had enough energy and time to just browse around. Glad there was a Homegoods in case there were any good finds for dog items (yes, our pup is spoiled) or candles. We ended up getting a good amount of stuff we were planning to find (candles and poop bags) and extra items I wasn't planning to find but had to take home with me (teas in box tins!). Staff was great! Probably one of the most pleasant staff I've ever dealt with! Came in on a Wednesday afternoon, and they were able to bag my items quickly/efficiently. They were sweet to try and see if there was a discount on the teas, since some were a little Christmas-oriented. Unfortunately, no dice, but I do appreciate their efforts! Would visit again if we're in the area and had time to just mellow and browse! You come here and you spend hours just going through each aisle and filling your cart with items you'll probably use just once. But it is quite a good place for perusing the goods available. With a price that won't break the bank, and quality that is well above other stores. My family normally goes here to look for cookware and throw blankets for those cold winter days in the living room. Sometimes, we get to pick up the odd item or two, like a cat's bedding or even a hose attachment for the garden. Or maybe a painting or poster at other times. The items they sell in the store is just so varied. Sometimes, you will have the predicament of which to choose from all the variations available for one item alone! When you have nothing to do, you go to Home Goods. When you go to Home Goods, you don't usually have an agenda of what to buy. You browse and you'll see something you like (for the most part). Living in SF, there aren't many Home Goods around and usually they're far away like in San Jose. I come up to Sac every once in awhile to visit friends but my bf never wants to make the detour here. During President's Day weekend, I ditched the bf and came up to Sac to see friends. Right before I headed back to the bay on Sunday, I made a pit stop here. Located inside an outdoor plaza mall, there are lots of businesses out here including movie theater, dessert places, restaurants, and of course Home Goods. This area would be great to shop around during the weekends or when you're bored. I was surprised at the size of this store and they had a lot of products out. There were some interesting interesting finds. I would definitely love to stop by here again next time! read more

I was delighted when my friend Alex T pointed out this Home Goods, which happens to be next to the movie theater. I returned the in search of a chair for my desk. I had circled the cramped isles of the store a couple of times and was feeling a bit discouraged. However, on my last lap around the store I discovered a platform in the back right corner with several vanity and desk and chairs crammed on top of it. This is where I found the sweetest blue velveteen swivel desk chair with a height adjustment lever. This economically priced chair is super comfortable, kitschy and the blue color goes well with my desk. As a side note: if you see something you like at this store you better snatch it up because the items in stock change from week to week. read more

hi-ya! So I had no idea what a homegoods was--but I went in on a friends suggestion when I was shopping for lamps. The place is like a Ross, but with no clothes just household things. The selection was so good and they have so many neat accessories that would be great in a home. I didn't need much and their lamp selection (tall standing) were really limited, but they have a lot of a selection and makes you stop and shop for stuff you didn't realize you might need. I enjoyed the shopping experience there as I went to both the Roseville and the Sunrise locations. Good selection and oddly found a puzzle there that we picked up. read more

Its so nice to have a reasonably priced, and fun home furnishing store centrally located in Sacramento. Confession time... I LOVE HomeGoods. I have shopped with them for years, and its rare that I dont find something that I want. Okay, need. Okay, I must have it! lol This store has seriously cool things. What I adore about the store is that I often find unique things, that I may not find anywhere else. (Check out the picture of the BBQ Grill) I love that they carry seasonally appropriate items, so when Im getting ready for a certain season, I stop by HomeGoods first. The store is a great size. Its large, and doesnt have that crowded feel to it, yet its packed with so many delightful finds! Each area of the store is organized so nicely, so you wont have to run all over trying to match color, pieces, or anything. Kitchen items, BAM, all together. Bedding? Theyve got you covered! All in one area. The choices are plentiful. Dont you love being able to have choices? You will here. The really cool thing about HomeGoods, is that not only the items fun, unique, but reasonably priced. Will you find expensive items? Yes! will you find that one special item youve been looking for? Yes! But you'll also find those basic items that wont break the bank. I cook a lot, and go through spatulas and other kitchen gadgets (okay, I did leave the spatula on the frying pan, and it kinda melted. thus needing to be replaced). throughout the year, that I love running into HomeGoods to pick up new ones. I love that their seasonal items are included in many facets of the store. Yes, my hand towels are one of those items. Gift shopping? This is a wonderful place to find some pretty cool gifts too! I really like this store. You can't come here with an agenda of "I would like to buy a specific item", rather you should come here periodically just to see if you can find something good, that way there is no room for disappointments. We have been able to find very soft towels, and some very soft bath rugs, today I walked in there and got so many ideas for my Christmas shopping and stocking stuffers but couldn't buy anything because I had my husband with me, and didn't want to spoil any surprises. Every time I go in, I get excited about some future parties I'll have at my house, or some future decorations, and while a lot of them might not happen, honestly just getting inspired and excited is totally worth it, and maybe once this pandemic is over, I'll come back and buy some more stuff for some parties and beautiful decorations. read more

I was enjoying do business at this store, unfortunately today around 6:20 pm I went to the store to return a pot I just find out it has a fine line crack, I decided to return it, I feel ok returned the pot because I just bought it yesterday same store around 5 pm A soon I arrived to the store I asked to an employee: where I can return the pot?, She said with attitude do you have a receipt? I said yes I do, She said: go to the line I said thanks. I went to the line while I was waiting at the line the employee start complaining about me (client) in Spanish with the cashier next to her (was the manager) any ways I looked at her and told her isn't nice of you talk about your clients what is you problem ? , she said I didn't say anything! But she started arguing a soon I told her I speak your language the employee didn't recognize she messed it up.. how is possible she didn't have any respect for her manager or client? She didn't stop she was speaking so loud about her personal opinion no matter what. the manager didn't said anything she was just listing her employee. I asked to the manager how you allowed this? She said I will talked to her... After all The manager Jennifer give me the employee name "Liz is her name" middle age (late 50s) for this review My point is improving better costumer services and if any employees have a negative opinion about clients in any language keep it! don't expose your self in laboral hours isn't comfortable for your clients! the store and the client want to make business if you work for the company be respectful and be supportive... This was my first time at this location and I was so pleased!! I came in last week to look for some things for our new apartment. My main goal was to find a full length body mirror and nice containers to store flour, sugar, etc. in. I found both & some! This is one of the biggest home goods I've seen and it is fully loaded with great finds at good deals! The kitchen department has lots of options and they carry a lot of Rae Dunn. I found the jars I wanted and there were several sizes! The prices were great too, ranging from $2.99-$6.99 depending on price. I just recommend double checking for scratches and other defects/damages. Their floral artificial arrangements are beautiful, but can be pricey. They also have a great selection for decorative pieces. I found a few body mirrors but nothing that really caught my eye. They were about $50-$80 too, which I would say is reasonable when compared to like Target. This location also has a ton of furniture! I saw couches, entry tables, desk, end tables, dressers, cabinets, patio furniture, etc! They were all so cute and modern and most of it was great pricing. I found an entry way table for $89!! So cheap compared to the 7 Ross' I went to last week. But, some of it can be over priced too. I posted a photo of a beautiful boho style patio set that was listed at $499. I really loved it, but couldn't see myself spending that much! I went on target later that night and found something very similar and just as boho for half the price!! Always check competitors! I roamed around for over an hour and honestly could of spent more time in there. Lol, when it came to check out Carlie was very helpful. I had an item without a tag and I was unsure so Carlie had to walk back and find something similar. She had a great attitude and finished the transaction efficiently. I'm so glad that I'm less than 10 minutes away from this store. I already know I'll be in here searching and buying, even after our apartment if fully furnished. LOL read more

One can spend hours in here!!! That is so dangerous to the wallet! I was in search of some wall decor items for my house, since we did some renovations to the house, I needed to update my decor. I came here knowing they would have plenty of selection and lots of potential items that would suit my needs. I use to drive all the way down to the Elk Grove location, but this location was much closer to my house. Yes! One needs to have an open mind when shopping here. It feels like a treasure hunt whenever I am here, its so much fun!!! I have to admit, it's a bit chaotic looking through items on shelves, they've maxed out shelf space here, so be careful when looking through items! I was able to find a few wall art/decor items. Purchased a giant wall art to go above the fireplace. I love it! It matches the color to our house! It was a bit higher in price than what I wanted to pay for, but it was one of a kind find. I had to get it! The lines seems long at first, but it goes by really fast with multiple cashiers checking customers out. I really like that! They were nice and friendly, made sure I was happy with my purchase. I will definitely be back!!! I can't wait to check out their Christmas decor this year! read more

Ok the store is nice just like most Home Goods stores are but the manager lady here is a completely rude person. I couldn't believe how rude she was acting out in the open and in front of customers. Yelling at her employees etc. We asked her to see a rug and she was very short and snappy. She acted as if we were bugging her and ruining her day. Her employees were working their butts off trying to please her and she just kept on being rude. I mean if you hate your job that much find another!!! read more

I came to this Homegoods location a few weeks after it opened to check it out. First of all, I LOVE how it's next door to a Nordstrom Rack. Two of my favorite stores in the same shopping center? Heaven! The inside of the store is large and set up like the Roseville location but flipped around so everything is opposite. Everything was nice and clean and organized when I went in, but there wasn't much merchandise on the shelves; it felt a little bare and empty. I don't know if it's because they're new or what, but I will stop by again and give them another try. I ended up purchasing a nice wool blanket which is beautiful and high quality; I love it! They had a lot of pet beds, clothes and accessories which I thought was nice as well as a good selection of artificial plants. What I didn't like is that about a third to a half of the store was filled with Christmas decorations and decor. Ugh. I don't really decorate for Christmas so it was discouraging because it meant that I didn't have any interest in a large portion of the store, and a lot of space for their typical home decor items was taken up by the decorations. I will keep coming back to this location and update my review as necessary but as of right now if you like Christmas decor then this is the store for you! read more

What a big HomeGoods! My first time visiting this place and I was super impressed at the size of the store. WOW. The one I'm used to is close to my home in Folsom, but this one in Sacramento is HUGE! Right next to Nordstrom Rack which can be dangerously tempting as well. Get your much needed home good items here at discounted prices. Large selection of a variety of things such as organizational baskets, pillows, wall decor, toys, rugs, bath items and more. It is very overwhelming so make sure you have 2-3 hours to kill to really enjoy your shopping experience. Next time we come here I hope to have more time on my hands to browse every aisle! read more

I adore a good wander around HomeGoods. This location is fairly well organized and clean. The employees are friendly and helpful. There is a wide and ever-changing selection of pillows, decor, and kitchen items. We've bought several pieces of furniture from this location and love them all. This location is also very easy to return items to! The only downside is that the aisles are extremely narrow and opposing traffic has to really press themselves against the shelves in order allow others to pass by. If you're claustrophobic, this isn't ideal. All in all, one of the better locations in the Sacramento area! read more

i wasn't going to write this review but i keep thinking about how the employees treated me. I went in a couple of weeks ago to purchase some specific items and when i was checking out the cashier kept giving me dirty looks and kept looking at her other 3 coworkers to look at me and they all started giggling or looking at me weird. I've only been to Home Goods once and that was at the location in Elk Grove. This place is like a higher end Ross but with just only furniture. It's nice to peruse the aisle to look at the cute furnitures and household items they have. The shelves are stocked with goodies but honestly I think the price is still a little high. Call me frugal but some of the items you can get at a better price at Kohls or Macy's when on sale. Some of their wooden crates they have are much more costly than what you can get at your local Michaels with a 50% coupon. I did get suckered into buying one bc we needed it for a photo shoot for our daughter and Michaels was out of the way at the moment. We also purchased some throws to use for props as well and the price was pretty good. Could probably get a better price at JoAnns fabrics but of course JoAnns is far a few as well.
