Miscellaneous toys were neatly put in plastic bags, jeans were neatly folded and hung on the racks, and everything just was organized so well! They had a great selection of clothes and housewares...I came out with 5 Minecraft shirts for my 7 year old and he was so excited about them!! I will be coming here for my thrifting from here on out! However, the self check-out station seemed like a disaster. We waited way too long for help and should've just went through the regular check-out line. Kinda ruined our visit here.

I feel like the merchandise is aimed at the elderly. Yes, there's some baby and Christmas items but truly I don't think most 20 year olds would find this store that interesting. Also, because I have Hallmark+ I get specific coupons, I had promo codes and discounts, and the clerk refused to give me the chance to log in to choose the discounts expiring first. I was logged in when I walked in the store and the app booted me out. She rushed me and then used a promo expiring in 2 months instead of the one expiring the next day. I was the only customer in store so she had no reason to rush me. I'm debating cancelling Hallmark+ because it's hard to find merchandise I like in this store now.

Well I bring my things to the cash register run my card & nada it asks if ebt food debit etc so I asked & nobody knew except 1 person that they DO NOT accept that card it was $70 worth of items & could have used my Debit but I was pis_ed because of the call & no one knew except 1 person, I had food at home but what if someone didn't & was depending on using that card for food & was told the wrong thing on the phone. As soon as I began speaking with salesman Bill Honan, I told him I hoped the sofa I was shopping for would cost less than 2k. We spent a very long time figuring out the options for a build-a-sofa, including the fabric/pattern. After that lengthy time I asked Bill what the final price would be, and he told me somewhere around $3,3PS IF THERE WAS NOTHING IN MY PRICE-RAMGE, BILL SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT00. I was floored the price was so high and said to him "I thought we were keeping the price under 2k, like I asked you to do." His EXACT response was "I never listen to budget." The fact that he completely ignored my request about price from the get-go, and knew it the whole time I was choosing a sofa, is the reason for this negative review, and why I will not shop at the Bassett Fife store ever again. Frankly, I believe Bill should be fired. Is it really OK for salespeople there to ignore what customers tell them their budget is? I hope not. I went down the road and bought a sofa elsewhere.
