10/10 recommend wags groomers they were so patient with him, with him being anxious kept me updated and sent me pictures of hims Taylor and Arielle was awesome I love the front desk person she was sweet too and even was patient with him and understood he was nervous.. I have been using Ruff House for 3 years now! Daycare, boarding and grooming! I couldn't imagine taking my girls anywhere else! My girls love to "go to school to see friends" My persnickety doodle adores Holly! This is a persnickety doodle who doesn't trust everyone but Holly is definitely one of her people! One of my favorite things about Ruff House is Holly is hands on. She's not a hidden owner just collecting fees...she's there for the dogs. I have peace and confidence that when my girls are in Holly's care they are being well cared for....even if that means going to Kroger to purchase meat because the persnickety doodle decides she doesn't want her dog food while I'm on vacation I've recommended Ruff House to many friends for daycare, boarding and grooming.....and will continue to recommend Ruff House! read more

We have used ruff house since the beginning. Holly loves the dogs and they love her. I love that the staff actually plays and interacts with the dogs all day instead of being kenneled like other boarding facilities. read more

It's taken me a long time to gather the courage to leave a review. I worked at Ruff House for about 3 years in total. Within these 3 years I broke up SEVERAL dog fights, comforted many dogs who had been brutally attacked & was literally taught by Holly Foster how to blatantly lie to clients faces when they came to pick up their bloody dogs. She would be on the phone with me, telling me what to say when I call & when they came to pick up their dog who was just ATTACKED in her facility. So if you were ever told your dog had a mark from "rough play", I can guarantee there's a lot more to the story. I was a victim of this exact lie and it wasn't until I was being lied to that I realized how messed up everything was. I boarded my dog for a little under a week. The day before pickup I received a text from my coworker, stating exactly what Holly would make me say to clients when their dog got attacked. "Hey just wanted to let you know Celeste has a small blood spot on her face. Nothing happened tho, just rough play." My heart hit my stomach IMMEDIATELY because I knew... we picked her up and she had a HOLE in her face not just a little blood mark. Not to mention the 1000's of scratch marks on her stomach from being non-stop humped, which they allow to happen. Disgusting. Knowing my dog was being humped the entire time, probably went to correct the other dog and then got attacked for it. When all of it could've been prevented... The day I walked out, I opened at 7am on a Sunday morning to a dead dog in her facility. The sibling dog had quite literally murdered the second dog. I was then told by another coworker that Holly Foster LIED to the parents of these dogs and told them that "Patsy had died of old age". Please try telling that to the years of trauma I now have to work through. It was a crime scene... that I had to call my DAD (who has never worked for Ruff House in his life) to help me with because Holly Foster & the other manager Megan couldn't be bothered to answer their phones. I was supposed to be manager on site, had worked there for 3 years and had 0 training on what to do in a situation like this. Honestly, worked there for 3 years and never got properly trained to do ANYTHING! I had to figure it all out myself. From cleaning up pee, to breaking up dog fights I had to teach myself everything, because Holly Foster herself doesn't know. The only thing Holly has is love for dogs. She is very uneducated on how to handle them or care for them or run this business. A couple weeks after I had quit, I get a message from one of her current employees. Hollys personal dog who should've never been allowed in the facility in the first place... killed a foster dog. In her care, inside of rough house. I'm not sure how that situation got handled but I'm sure it wasn't correct. On top of all of this. I've came to realize after I had quit that everywhere you look in that facility is an OSHA violation. It is an EXTREMELY dangerous work place, and even more dangerous for your dogs. Please please PLEASE find somewhere else. I understand that this is an affordable option, but everyone knows cheap isn't always best. This is one of those situations. I am posting this hoping to save a dog. Im hoping to save your dog from an attack, a fight, or worse... I have picture evidence posted on my Google review. read more

Extremely Disappointed and Saddened by Our Experience: I trusted Ruff House with the care of my dog for years, but unfortunately, that trust was broken. My dog was attacked by another dog while in their care. Due to lack of safety measures and quick response from the staff, my dog had multiple bite marks and lacerations that resulted in emergency veterinary care and subsequent suture treatments. When I picked him up after the incident, I was told Ruff House would cover the vet bills. I promptly submitted all invoices to both Ruff House owner and their insurance provider. The insurance claim was denied, and despite multiple follow ups with Ruff House, I have received no response or support from Ruff House. I've had to cover all veterinary expenses myself which totaled more than $2K. What is most upsetting is not just the incident itself, but the lack of accountability, communication, and integrity afterward. I'm sharing this review in hopes that it encourages Ruff House to take responsibility to ensure safety of every dog in their care and improve how they handle serious incidents like this in the future. read more

Absolutely amazing. The owner takes great care of our dogs. She sends us updates on how they are doing. One time we were on vacation and our older dog needed medication she ran to his vet and picked it up without even asking. My dogs have such a great time there and her prices beat anyone around!! read more

I have 4 of my own dogs, and then took in a foster. My dogs were not accepting of the new one. I broke up fights nonstop at home and was bit by my dogs 3 times because of their rebellion and dislike for the new one. I was at my wits end and didnt know what to do... then my rescue offered day care for the foster, so RUFF HOUSE here we came. My foster LOVES this place, and she literally looks like she is smiling when we pull in for drop off. She plays non stop... and this has allowed my dogs to have a break and get used to her. RUFF HOUSE has also kept her twice while I went on trips. Ive never had a negative experience with any of the staff there. RUFF HOUSE has been our families saving grace! Im sure there are times things happen that arent ideal... but I feel like they do an amazing job overall and have no reason not to trust them. read more

We have boarded our dog several times here due to the low price. Unfortunately you pay for what you get. It took us several time to really figure this out. The last time we took our pup there we showed up at 0800am and nobody was there. We were scheduled to go on vacation and had made our reservation. We called and called and kept getting the answering machine. We waited until 0845 and still nobody showed up. We had to drive back home (Over an hour away) and leave our dog with a neighbor. Thank goodness they helped us out. We called later and were told that the owner would contact us and it has been over a week and we haven't been contacted. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Sadly the day we were scheduled to drop off our dog, the other dogs that were in all night weren't let out either. read more
