Each time I drove by the place I thought no way was I bringing my boy to a house that was renovated into a doggie center. WOW WAS I WRONG! Amy and Joe are nothing but professional and know canines as well or better than any dog people I know. They are willing to take countless minutes (and in my case hours) of time to offer advice and help. It doesn't hurt that they are dog instructors themselves and own on any given day 7 or more. As far as business practices they keep their clients well informed of what the behavior of their pets during the day. I guess this says a whole lot about them as they care individually for each animal and want the owners to take the time to train them appropriately if any potential issues arise. You can watch your pooch play or rest during the day on their great spy cam as well. This is added comfort for me as I can even pull up my computer at lunch and see what Sam is doing. If you ever have a question, a quick email or phone call is promptly returned and with great info. If you want to try the facility to see if your dog fits, the behavior screening day to see if he has compatibility is well worth your time and money. Our dog waits at the door when we are ready to leave each morning and shakes his tail and whole body as we walk him in to hang with his buds at the Club! I think this speaks wonders as the Pack Leaders keep a tight ship on the rest of the pack each day. Each of their team members are great at helping and care just as much about every patron whether they have 2 legs or 4. We have no issues leaving Samson with them for extended periods of time as we know he will have plenty to do with the other dogs. They take care of him and make sure he feels like this is a second home for him. It probably doesn't hurt that I give them free rule to discipline him AND ME for what I might be doing that is not positive for his behavior at present time or in the future. If you are even considering using a doggie daycare on the north side of the Cincinnati Metro, K9 IS THE ONLY PLACE!

I have been bringing our dog to Baker House Animal Hospital for 10 years where she received her…read morevaccinations and annual check. We recently had concerns about our dog's behavior, being lethargic, not eating, or drinking, and urinating excessively. When I called to get an appointment, I was told the vet doesn't see people after 2 although the business hours say open until 6. I was never directed to another vet office to call to get help. I was able to be seen the next day where they took a blood and urine test. The blood test came back with extremely elevated liver numbers which can turn to life threatening. The vet's recommendation was to get 24 hour care ($3500) from an emergency vet hospital, an ultrasound ($1000), and a biopsy to determine if she had cancer. I ended up getting a second opinion at another animal hospital where they were able to do an X-Ray for $200 and determine my dog has cancer in her liver. It has spread throughout her body and to her lungs. We were able to get a steroid shot to keep her comfortable and make a decision when we're ready. I am so happy that we got a second opinion and were able to save thousands of dollars.

We booked four overnights for $40 per night with this pet sitter. It was a last minute thing since…read moreour daughter was unable to watch our dog. I wasn't impressed with the house when we had our meet and greet but the owner assured us that it 'normally' doesn't look this way. She explained that she had just had a big family dinner and no time to straighten up. I picked up our dog this afternoon. When I was about to pay Joanna the dog sitter she told me that she is charging me $50 per night. I reminded her that we agreed on $40 and stuck to it. When she brought up our dog's bed and blanket I was shocked! The dog sitter told me with a smile that our dog's blanket (that is usually on her bed) had been dragged outside through the mud with alongside with our dog's bed by other dogs. That tells me that she left the dogs unsupervised and to their own devices. She also didn't stick with her feeding plan. I specifically asked not to give more than one to two small dog biscuits per day. The rather full box of milk bones was almost empty. When I asked why the dog sitter explained to me that she kept feeding a bunch of snacks to our dog since she might be a "slow" eater. Our dog eats her food 1/2 1/2 dry/wet. The sitter gave her wet only saying she wouldn't eat dry food. Her living/ dog room was still totally filthy. At least 6 dogs where running around in the small room, barking excessively. Even though Joanna was friendly to us- I would not bring our dog back to her place. I had to remove the cover from the dog bed before putting it into my car- it was that dirty. Our dog was totally dirty and I had to give her a bath immediately when we got home. Our dog was totally exhausted and seemed to be bothered by something. She had a lethargic look on her face all day - tells me that something happened.
