This manager needs training on how to deal with HUMAN BEINGS, especially the elderly w/ disability of any kind. My mom went into store on Friday 6/28/24 w/ her emotional support dog (yorkie/poodle, 4lbs, very tiny) and after my mom spent quite a bit of time in store collecting the items she was going to purchase, manager had followed her around the last 10min before kicking my mom out. My mother was told that only service dogs were allowed to be in store w/ owner and emotional support dog was not sufficient enough. After my mother shared that her dog was an emotional support dog, she persisted in asking my mom about her disability (if any and what kind). This seems like a huge violation to be asking what disability y mother has whether service or emotional support dog. You should never ask a persons diagnosis in either case, hence why papers/forms are completed properly and tags are provided to such animals and owners. My mother just froze after panicking out of fear she'd get in trouble (being Hispanic and speaks clear English), she left her things and walked out. As soon as she got in her car she brokedown crying and felt humiliated by the demeanor and conduct in which manager had approached her. I just found out about it right now! Being part of my job to advocate for people throughout many years in a nonprofit myself in the social service field, I felt it only right that I advocate for my mother as well and let others know about this particular Salvation Army right in Quakertown 309 and Pumping Station Rd. Suggestions: -have clear policies on your store website defining what dogs/pets are allowed into store and why that particular one. -train your staff especially managers on how to be more sensitive towards the population they serve and cultural awareness and beyond. If you aren't a people person and it's just another job, perhaps you're in the wrong place. Don't violate people's rights in asking them their personal health issues that are not your concern. You represent a nonprofit therefore are a reflection of their leaders, staff, mission, vision and it's not just local or state, it's nationally. I am appalled, baffled, embarrassed for my mom and anyone that goes into that store that are of a vulnerable population no matter what community you're visiting from. You don't know peoples stories or life experiences, even journey to than disrespect them. My opinion and fact of my mother's situation made worse!

This wonderful shop was such a huge surprise!  We found it a little difficult to locate, but thank…read moregoodness for Waze.  There was plenty of parking and some larger items were for sale outside the store (a vintage rocking horse, in great condition and for an amazing price, a couple of awesome looking patio chairs).  Seasonal decor, books, games, small pieces of furniture, cool knick knacks, candles, and in the rear of the store were racks of clothes, accessories, pillows.   The prices were fantastic ~ a few times I had to blink and look again to be sure.   And with the addition of small, fuzzy, adorable animals  up for adoption (birds, guinea pigs today!), this was one the best thrift stores I have ever been to.  Senior Citizen discounts are applicable on Fridays and all proceeds go to the Last Chance Ranch Rescue.

The prices at Liberty are very reasonable and the staff are super friendly. There is more than enough parking in front of the store. It would be a difficult task to exit empty handed here.

The first day I went there it was 1/2 off everything in the store. Wow. It was crowded. I ended up getting a few things. The total was awesome but what do you expect with half off day? So I went again next time I went thru. It was just an average day. I got some clothes and a coffee pot. The total was still awesome. I really like this shop. Their prices are very good. Their selection is good also. They have senior discounts, veteran discounts. They seem to care about their customers. Put all that together add in their friendly workers and they have a working recipe for repeat business. I know I'm one. I will stop in every time I go thru coopersburg. 2 thumbs up, 10/10! After contacting her vet, I was pushed off to a future date and the callous and non caring approach was unacceptable. I searched for other options and had come across the Quakertown location of the Bucks County SPCA. The treatment, respect and caring that was afforded to me far surpassed most of the experiences that I had encountered over the years at various Vet offices. I applaud the outstanding effort and caring that was extended to me. All of this compassion made a horrendously difficult and emotional time easier to handle as my beautiful Bella crossed over.

Prior to that we were waiting at a neighbor's house for cops to come watching the property owner illegally entering our RV and taking our stuff. As soon as cops got there he was all being a goody goody and did nothing but talk about us and lying about us the whole time. Then we left , stopped at CVS because I had an asthma attack. My honey called 911. They took me to Doylestown for a breathing treatment. I know after all we had just been through we both looked bad. We hadn't slept much and we took care of our baby girl feeding her, letting her drink out of her steel fountain. She loved it. Gave her her medications. Doylestown treated me like a fungus or something and kept refusing to let me leave without blood tests. I told them I had just had them done the week before. But they kept insisting. I told them to let me out because my honey and my kitty were waiting out in the pkg lot for me. Finally they let me out. They thru some mans cadaver suit on me and rolled me down to the lobby to wait . After I got picked up by my honeys mother and him he told me what happened. After. The ambulance took me. Cops showed up on scene, gave my disheveled looking honey who was a senior with a bad hip a field test. Then booked him for DUI. We don't drink! Neither one of us drink alcohol. Then an officer from spca showed up and took my baby stating she looked dehydrated and underweight and hair was falling out. They decided to take us to court for neglect. WE NEVER NEGLECTED OUR BABY AND I HAVE PROOF OF ALL THAT. She was my child . I kept all her bedding clean, everywhere she went I kept clean. Whenever she went in the box one time I cleaned it out. I put cocoa nut oil lightly on her skin to soothe it before that I used kitty wipes for her body and special wipes for her ears . Changed all her dishes and fountain to stainless steel and whenever she ate I cleaned them. Daddy made special tshirts for her to wear to keep her from clawing at her skin. I bought a warming pad for her bed and changed her bedding every nite. Before Daddy put her shirt on every nite he lightly brushed her because she was a long hair tuxedo. She was the runt of the litter so she was very small anyways. There's a part two.
