I recently was in need of a one-time cleaning service for my home. I did some research and found Homemaid Cleaning Service. It had good reviews and was a woman-owned business so I reached out to them. The owner, Brandi, contacted me and asked questions about the job, and I filled her in on my needs. She assured me that they would clean "surfaces top to bottom, side to side, in every nook and cranny". I had two calls with Taylor, my leading cleaner, on the day of service. I was supposed to receive a call at the end of the day to go over what was completed but I never received one. When I went to the house the next day, there were a number of items that hadn't been touched and the house wasn't cleaned per my agreement with Brandi. I shared pictures with Brandi clearly showing that the job wasn't completed. That evening, I was surprised when my credit card was billed for $355 for the job. I still hadn't had a conversation with Brandi. The second day after the cleaning, Brandi called and she told me that I would have to discuss this with Taylor, and she would have Taylor call me. I didn't receive a call that day and spent the weekend waiting for a resolution. On Monday, I received a text from Brandi that Taylor would call me after their morning staff meeting. I didn't receive a call until after Noon. I was receiving three more hours to complete some of the cleaning. Taylor focused on the walls in the kitchen. However, when I got there, I found cleaning solution on the floor, on moldings and walls. I found pieces of sponge on the floor, and ended up spending time cleaning that up. I reached out to Brandi again and still haven't heard from her. I can't express the complete dissatisfaction in the whole experience with Homemaid Cleaning Services. From the slow response time, to lack of communication with me (and between Brandi and Taylor), to the poor cleaning job. Do yourself a favor, and don't call Homemaid. read more

I hired HomeMaid to come do a one time deep clean of my home. I filled out the application online & didn't hear anything for a month. They called me the Wednesday before the Monday that was scheduled, to confirm what I wanted cleaned, but I wanted to talk to my husband first before committing to a $200 clean. I was told I needed to make a decision then because I was going to be getting into cancellation fees if not. So I went ahead and said they could come for 4 hours Monday. Come Monday, I couldn't answer my phone and talk for the 30 minutes like they wanted, because I was at work, and from then on it was said to be a miscommunication, that only a few items were cleaned in my home that day, and my husband and I walked into our home still a mess. The floors were not cleaned or mopped, the kitchen table was not even wiped... the bathroom sink was not cleaned out or the mirror even wiped..I could go on!! We were appalled that our house was basically how we left it that morning, bedsides the microwave, kitchen sink, and two toilets looked good. I spoke with Taylor, who did the clean, and the manager Brandi, and the situation was going to try and be fixed. But then I didn't hear back, even after I had reached out via email, and asked for the quoted price to be reduced to better reflect what was actually cleaned. I still never received a reply back, almost a week later, and I've now been charged full price. Just disappointing and we still have a house needing cleaned!! Save yourself the hassle! read more

Wow! After going through two other cleaning services over the past year and being disappointed, I'm so happy to have found HomeMaid! Brandi is extremely professional and worked around my busy schedule for my first cleaning. She really goes the extra mile. Very satisfied customer! Addendum to review: A day after posting I keep finding little things Brandi worked on that just go above and beyond like scrubbing the underside lip of plastic in my bathtub that no one can see unless you are laying in the tub. Everyone here was so helpful and nice! I worked with Brandi-- VERY efficient and returning texts and messages--to determine a budget and the best fit for my cleaning needs. They scheduled the appointment same week, which was super surprising being a holiday week and all, and the girls who did the cleaning were efficient and super friendly to both me and my pet! I hired homemaid after requesting a quote through here on yelp. I wasn't sure that the price would be worth it, but it was last minute and they are the only one that could make it to my home. It was a new place, and entire home needed a deep cleaning. The kitchen, windows, and fixtures were all covered in a dusty gunk of very gross origins. Brandi came with Yasmin I believe, and they got to work. After many hours, and a large cost later, I came out very impressed with the quality of the work, as well as dedication to understanding the small minority of us who truly understand what clean is. Not to mention coming out last minute to hep me in a time of need. It was worth every penny, a premium I gladly pay for excellent treatment, results, and priority service. I am soon to be looking at maintenance cleaning, and will be considering homemaid as my ongoing option. As I will no longer need to pay the premium price which my situation justified, I will surely get a great value for regular service. read more

A side-effect of being busy is that deep cleaning falls to the wayside for far too long. I contacted HomeMaid for housekeeping assistance via Yelp and the owner, Brandi, called me back within 5 minutes. She was able to schedule my cleaning on the day I requested (three days later). First and foremost, HomeMaid is very professional! Brandi took a detailed list of what I wanted over the phone, provided realistic feedback, and offered me a fair price. I appreciate that her employees have background checks, and the company is insured. I sent pictures of some of the areas I wanted worked on and Brandi gave her advice about how long certain tasks might take and the levels of difficulty associated (such as hard water grime, etc). On cleaning day, Brandi and her associate, Dana, showed up on time and got right to work. They are fast and highly efficient; four hours after their arrival, my house is sparkling! Brandi and Dana are certainly experts in their field- they know precisely what product to use for each task and supplied everything from sprays to special tools. Bottom Line: It would have taken me forever to do what these ladies did in 4 hours, yet they went above and beyond what I asked. Lastly, although I initially felt embarrassed about having someone else clean my house, they put me at ease with their professionalism and pleasant personalities.
